Excellent getaway spot for a weekend. Close to the highway but far enough that you don't hear anything. Beautiful location and park. Great room and service. Highly recommend the romantic arrangement with breakfast served in the room.

It's not a bad hotel, I don't like how wide spread it is and it's a good walk to my room from reception that is in another building. The room isn't large nor is it small. It's warm enough and the heating is ok. The food I don't rate highly, its expensive and small in portion size. I had the steak and to be fair I won't be eating in the hotel on my last evening there. The staff are friendly and do their best to try and help. Menus in English seem few and far between and to try and translate from staff is difficult. I believe there are 2 dishes which is meat or fish then there are vegetarian options. I would rather stay somewhere else that have a better variety of food and amenities. Room feels dated and poorly maintained in terms of the decor and there is no lift in the area I'm staying which is annoying. They use a key system which is rare now in hotels, not many use an actual key to access rooms. There is a coffee maker and a kettle, although no coffee options with the kettle. I would rate this 2 stars but added one for the staff being fairly helpful. The beams and the shutters add a nice touch to the room but let down by the poor furniture. The widow in the toilet is clear glass, and right behind the toilet, the lighting in the bathroom is poor.

A bit pricey for what you get. Also recommend booking the restaurant if you want to have dinner. It never crossed our minds, as other hotels we stayed at looked after their customers even if restaurant was fully booked. We weren't advised to book the restaurant ahead, and as a result we were left with no food at a late arrival. After an all day journey, our young kids were left hungry. There is no room service. The bar has snacks, but it offers limited food such as bread and fries. Not exactly a proper meal. Although the hotel is nice and is a 4 star hotel, it lacks basics, for example, bottled water in the rooms, room service, heating, fridge.

We had a beautiful time at Landgoed Huize Bergen. Atmosphere was brilliant, service was good, and the food was wonderful! Have to give a special mention to the young lady behind reception who was knowable and super friendly. Will definitely be coming back and recommend 100%.

A beautiful location surrounded by unique buildings and a forest. We had a good diner in the village Vught and 2 nature walks at the Loonse en Drunense Duinen & Vughtse Heide + De Ijzeren Man. The practicalities, shower and interior of the rooms at the “Zwaluw” were great. Though we didn’t have a good night of sleep due to low quality mattresses, bulky pillows and a lot of dust. My advice: Bring your own pillow. And sleep with your head towards the door so you won’t feel the breezy window (a small crack remains when closed). Overall we had a nice and peaceful weekend! 😊

Outdated stinky rooms and service below expectations: This was a business trip and in the booking has been a work desk confirmed. There was no table in the room and the staff only added one after long discussion. The room has been small and smelly. The window could only be openend by climbing the bed. Plus I got an invoice with incorrect address which the staff refused to change. Not recommended at all!

Deluxe hotel room was nice and spacious, quite a large bathroom as well. The terrain is simply gorgeous, great for a relaxing stroll. Breakfast was good, we didn’t try dinner though.

I booked a room at Landgoed Huize Bergen via booking, and upon arrival I received the key to my room at the building Zwaluw. The room is small, and there is no desk in case you want to work/send a few emails, and there is no mini fridge (which I believe it should be). Before going to bed, I realized that the bed is full of silverfish (zilvervisjes), all kinds of sorts and sizes. I immediately called the receptionist, and the response was fast indeed. He came over and given the situation offered me another room in the same building. I was not surprised to see the same problem in the other in the same hallway!! I think this is a problem which the hotel should have taken care of instead of me finding it out for them! I wonder if I was the first one noticing this. Upon expressing my intention to leave immediately I got another room at De Botanica which is a newly build building. I moved there, and there room is indeed new and clean. The issue for me it was, that the room was too cold. Behind my desk while working, I could feel a cold air even while the window was closed. I could not increase the temperature on the control panel. It was showing the room temperature of 20 but I had to wear my jacket 5:30 am and I could not sleep anymore. I would however thank the receptionist for taking immediate action and changing my room.

We had a terrible experience. Rooms very dirty, tiny and the staff very impolite

I didn't like the single room I was in initially but I was upgraded to the deluxe suite which was great! Staff was very helpful.

We were here for a wedding. The location is very beautiful. It's relatively well connected to public transport and also well reachable by car. The rooms were nice and could host all hotel guests. The breakfast was also very nice with a lot of choice, not necessarily for vegans, except for Alpro pudding. The prices of the rooms were also good. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is presented with nice old building but you staying in an annex building which is hard to find. Rooms are minuscule for the price and bathroom looks like a cubicle from a camper van. I stayed in better room for half the price. Basically do not be fooled like me, you are buying a night in a youth hostel without the charm. Rip off.

The whole team is very polite and friendly, I would like to thank them all but especially to Walid. Only missing points from my view is rooms are small in the boomgaard building, and no Tv in the rooms (at least you have tablets). Less hygiene stuffs in the bathroom(soap, shampoo etc). But it was really pleasant stay!!!
