I booked a suite and a twin room and I got two double rooms, one with extra bed (both in the attic - small rooms and cramped.) All rooms don’t have air conditioning. At 4 star!! Not to mention that now the price was changed ("The action from the booking time is no longer available!") In room No. 1 door frame was broken, the toilet lid broken (Warning! DANGER - seriously!), Minibar door was hanging after a bungled repair and fridge makes an infernal noise. For me, accommodation at Pension Carmen, ruined my holyday! PS both reservations for turn and return were made a month in advance PPS the non-respect of the reservation, all the broken things in the rooms and the price change reflect whose character???

Quite place near the green mountain comfortable and close to the nature makes you feel you are at home. Kind and respectful cook lady will prepare delicious breakfast. The owner Mrs Carmen made me feel a big difference she was trying to get all my needs, even though I was asking a lot. Thank you so much Carmen.

We enjoy coming back to this place whenever in Sibiu area (6 check-ins already!), happy to be met with the same warmth and hospitality, in a green oasis of urban peace, yet close enough to the historic city center (just a couple of minutes by taxi). Clean and spaceful rooms in a chic setting (love the Sibiu themed artworks on the inside walls!), rich outdoor facilities, kid and pet friendly and, last but not least, the delightful coffee by Jura coffee maker at breakfast! See you again next year!

The owners of the pension are some extraordinary people, very kind and very welcoming. The price for a 2-room apartment for 4 people was only 200 lei (equivalent to €45) and the cost of a breakfast was only 25 lei (equivalent to €5). The services offered by the pension are well beyond the services of other famous hotels. The rooms have been extremely clean and spacious. We had access to 3 terraces with a wonderful view. The pension owner helped my dad fix a broken microphone cable. People are extremely welcoming. I wish we could stay here longer. We will definitely come back here and recommend this hostel and to our friends.

This definitely deserves 5 stars. Everything was so smooth, the staff was extremely friendly and they helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were spot on, clean and there were no noisy neighbors. The breakfast was also delicious. This is where you want to sleep if you plan on visiting Sibiu.

Enjoyed a full week of enduro, based at Pension Carmen. And for that purpose super! Enough room for your whole equipment in the basement. No need to take it to your room.Very friendly family that runs the place.
