Say what you want about COVID, but I'm not going back to accept terrible packaging when it comes to food. I will never get used to bags not being secured or staff not wearing face coverings. This is why I usually feel comfortable ordering from Pizza Hut, because their policy says that they secure the food with stickers. However, three times now, the food has come not only unsecured, but slightly opened and squished (see the photos). Update: I called main customer service for the company and they gave me a gift card. So I'm taking this up one star.

Absolutely disgusting. Spend far too long waiting to order just for burned buffet pizza, not much choice and old and partly frozen salad, no juice either. Then you have to queue a second time to ask for the desert you already ordered last time! Spent more time waiting in queues and waiting for food than eating.

There was 2 staff members on today 4th may when store first opened at 1130 we were first in and gent who opened door was lovely,holding door as we walk in, given seat, ordered drinks arrive in under 1min then hot food buffet was out with time of getting salad and returning to table. The two staff interacted throughout the entire time we were there. Hatting about all different things and check everything was ok, they made it comfortable although only us was there as just opened thank you

Excellent service from Oscar at Liverpool 1. Very polite and helped us book our food as our phones had no signal. We had the buffet and there was a good choice of pizzas and it was hot. The 4 of us really enjoyed our visit

This picture shows how my pizza arrived. Not only that, it’s so thin it can be seen through, despite not even ordering a thin crust (but it’s even thinner than that). The “crispy” onion rings were rubbery and soggy, the wings had one missing, and the cheesy garlic bread had next to no cheese on it. Use a different Pizza Hut in Liverpool. I’m honestly surprised, I’ve never had an issue with a Pizza Hut before **edit, it won’t allow my picture to upload for some reason

The buffet pizzas were alright, and there are lots of sides. If you are a vegetarian, please make double sure to ask the Pizzaiolo. However you need to scan the QR code on the table in order to select your option and pay. For soda drinks + ice-cream,it's 13.99£ I believe. You cannot pay at the till for buffets. Just keep it in mind.

Don't normally like pizza but I had the flatbread with all you can eat salad and diet coke which I could just keep refilling , really enjoyed it.

First order- Complete incorrect order. (Despite this being pre booked around Noon for a scheduled delivery) Second Order Attempt- Undercooked Fries, Pink/ raw undercooked chicken within the Chicken Bites, Missing Whole Pizza, Cookie Dough burnt. Completely understand the busy period for a day such as Valentines, so no fault for the drivers delivering the order. Customer service however on the other hand was not what it should have been. Phone calls blaming the Uber/ Deliveroo driver as well as no offer for support other than contact the delivery service. Understandable to an extent, though undercooked chicken, as well as burnt food & missing items, especially after a second delivery attempt is nowhere near the standard it should be. £65 down with 4 slices of pizza deemed edible over the space of 3 hours. Not a great look.

Just done a order for collection, waited for a while didn't see any servers or anyone on the floor at all for a while. Got pizza and chips, both boxes of food had hairs in the food. The pizza wasn't cut ,and had a random black olive in the pizza box too, Over all it was okay but disappointing.

Have to over via the app which takes forever to load and then freezes all the time. Much better when it was table service! Also feel like more can be done to make the communal areas such as salad bar, ice cream and drinks machine more covid safe! Food was the usual pizza hut food

Pizza Hut tends to always have a dirty sticky feel to it. It's loud and claustrophobic and just plain filthy. The staff were very polite though.

Wouldnt bother going. £77 for an ok pizza and cookie dough. Refillable drinks are value for money if you can drink more than 2 in one sitting. No restaurant feeling, more isloated and cashless payments. Walked in, was told where to sit, to order and pay via a QR code and what food wasnt available to have. When ordering through the QR code its obviously using your internet, which seems to stop working at the front door. So your sitting there getting more annoyed at trying to order. Just not worth the hassle or the price.

Freezing cold seating area. I asked if I could sit somewhere warmer and the staff said it is cold everywhere. I said that I might have to leave my coat on, to which she said 'ok'. To be honest it wasnt even the fact that I sat there with a hat and coat on throughout the meal, it was the dismissive staff attitude. Same staff...usually a courtesy goodbye or thank you when leaving a place, or maybe even checking if food is ok during meal. Not for me again that.

I really don't like having to order by app when eating in and got no help when I said my phone was nearly out of charge. The child's pizza had virtually no cheese on when it arrived and so most of it got left. My pizza was ok but the prices are too high for what you get. I wasn't that happy with the customer service or cleanliness and wouldn't go again.

Food was good, extremely busy went at 530 on a Monday evening we didn't need to queue, however a queue formed just after we were seated. We didn't wait too long for our food but a lady on the next table ordered just after us with special requests and we were leaving when she got her food. We were TOLD we had to order on the app but we did see a few people ordering through the waitress.

The staff were very helpful. The manager helped me order and add my meerkat meal. They made tine to go and check the nutritional value on some ingredients for me. The salad was fresh but a bit more variety would have been nice. But the price for what yhe food wad was expensive.

Generic pizza co, very little atmosphere. Now it's all QR codes there. There doesn't seem much point having waiting staff. You take your own order on a fiddly app, it's difficult to customise, the food comes then you have to go make yourself your drink. It's all faff and I don't see why you pay through the teeth for this experience.

Expensive, but you know that going in and no one makes you go in. An issue was the toilet cleanliness which wasn't the best. Our party was sat near to the toilets, there is a door with a window in that goes to the corridor with the toilets off. Saw a member of staff going to carry put the hourly checks on them but all they did is sign to say they had done it, but we saw that they didn't go in to check them at all which we thought was lazy and disgusting.

£3.99 for a refill drink - do yourself a favor and share one - the staff didn’t mind. We were here because we had a gift card and I would not have been happy if I had paid £40 for what we had which was 2 pizzas and one drink. The pizzas came with unlimited salad which included jalapeños- do not order extra on your pizza as you can pop some on from the salad bar. The chicken bbq pizza did not have enough bbq sauce and wasn’t as tasty as I hoped. The deep dish one was doughy as if it was undercooked. 🍕

It was a good atmosphere inside, the service was great and the manager helped me out with my order. The food was delicious and everyone in my group had a great time. We really enjoyed the unlimited salad and bottomless drink options! Will definitely come again!

It would be nice to have a human take your order but hey.... and since when did pizza become soo damn expensive!! Even still, it was gorgeous. The drinks machine is cool.

This is one of the no interaction places where you order via the app or on screens. The food is great and the people that brought the food out I could not fault. I couldn't see this working for older people, they want help to place their order. There were staff who said they would assist with orders but for the elderly I don't see it working.

We love Pizza Hut and this one, in Central Liverpool, was no exception. My only gripe is that since we last came to one of these restaurants the prices seem to have doubled which was a little surprising. We also thought the toppings were a little less generous than we remembered. The salad bar is now free but paying £17.49 for a 9inch pizza at a Hut seemed a little steep to us. On the plus side the young serving team were polite, helpful and efficient.

Food was awful. Ordered a chicken supreme, was very bland. Honestly the worst pizza I’ve ever tasted. Chips were burnt and mozzarella sticks were very dry. Asked for our drink glasses after 10 minutes of waiting. Staff ordered us to sick back down and then demanded our receipt as they couldn’t find our order. Food isn’t worth the money. Would not recommend.

Horrible experience when ordering takeaway. When paying £60 for two pizzas, I expect them to have cheese on top - found out when we got back to the apartment. 10/10 would not order again.

Really disappointed at how much it has changed. Do not like the order yourself on an app way of ordering food which didn't work anyway. Plus my son needs to eat dairy free food but was hard to find something to eat. We ended up leaving rather than staying to eat and picked up McDonald's instead!

Pizza hut has improved since I last visited one ten years ago. The food is quite a lot better with deep pan pizzas full of topping. The ice cream has quite a few noticale ice crystals in it. Service was good and the staff were friendly. The ordering system is a little too nandos for my liking. I don't like ordering from a barcode or from a screen in the middle of the restaurant. Its better to be able to ask the waitor/waitress about the menu. All in a pretty good experience and if I were visiting Liverpool, I'd be happy to frequent again.

Fabulous dinner, me and my partner ordered a meal deal each. I went with the Mac n cheese stuffed crust pizza, and I was not disappointed! It was absolutely amazing, I couldn't finish so I took the rest home in a box to finish later. Nice atmosphere, staff on hand and very helpful, free salad, unlimited refills on soft drinks. Couldn't ask for more. A great meal out!

I ordered 2 pizzas with a delivery time of 7.35pm to 7.45pm after waiting for a long time with many unanswered calls to the restaurant a man called Dom turned up. The time now is 8.23pm and the food is freezing cold, I asked if he could take them back and bring new hot pizzas and I was told no point blank. He was so rude and unprofessional, blamed his manager for the pizzas being cold cos there short staffed and he will not take on extra staff. Terrible considering the amount of money spent 😡

Have not been to a pizzahut for while but pleasantly surprised. Lunchtime menu on a weekday so £10 buffet. Pizza choice was good and always enough there! Good drinks offers. Staff were nice and hada laugh

We've been coming here regularly for about four years and never had any problems. The food's always spot on, it's great value for money and the staff can't do enough to help you. The only thing that spoiled the visit today was a group of customers who couldn't keep their children under control, and then had the cheek to complain about something and insult one of the lovely members of staff by shouting at her across the restaurant. Take your bobble hat off indoors, you scruff.

Had a lovely time catching up with a friend and had a meal at Pizza Hut. It’s been a while since I’ve been. My pizza was tasty and not too overfacing although I didn’t have room for dessert. It was nice to see a place finally do Pepsi instead of the usual Coke brands on offer!👍Service was quick and the staff were very friendly and bubbly. Special mention to Lois and Caitlyn for their lovely service and attention to us😊

We orders 2 pizzas and it was horrible. In one of them I ask no spinach but they put it and Is no cheese as well In the second one ,the steak was dry ,actually burn👎🏻 First and last time when I order from here

Although the pizza turned out to be good, I was very disappointed that I paid £20 (so double the price) to get a sharing pizza while it turns out to be a normal sized pizza. I could have had the same for £11 like I’ve seen on other tables. We asked the staff but they assured it was the right one. Feels like robbing. Paying extra just to have it served in a pan I guess... save your money, just get a regular pizza and share it. Other than that the restaurant is clean and social distancing is respected

Horrible! With this new covid measure even worse. You need to order IN the restaurant online! If u have a phone to order your pizza fine, otherwise no one will come to take your order. The staff will not help you with the site.. They don't have an app yet! There is no selection of salads anymore.. You have the coleslaw and potatoes one...pizza with a strong smell of yeast. From my point of view, better to buy a Tesco pizza, is better and cheaper.

Went with my two children. The menu was incredibly limited although we all managed to find something we wanted. Service was good and quick. Side salads weren't exactly what we ordered but let it go. Pizzas were quite tasteless and the sweetcorn on my 5 year olds pizza was burnt so she picked most of it off. Ice cream was bland also. Spent £30 for the three of us. The atmosphere was good and everywhere appeared to be clean with decent social distancing measures. Doubt we'll be back for a while, just glad my kids enjoyed the experience despite the food being average

The waitresses were super nice and friendly! We got our food pretty fast and were asked if everything was alright a few times. The salad buffet was amazing as well as the different sauces! The local was clean and had a really amazing atmosphere. I definitely recommend it, it's perfect for a dinner with friends! 😁

One particular member of staff went above and beyond for us when we came in late on Saturday evening, i didnt get her name it was a lady with dark hair and a foreign accent. She was Attentive to myself & partner and other diners nothing was too much trouble for her at all. I work in the restaurant industry myself and it was very refreshing to see someone with such a great attitude towards guests. Other members of staff was quite stand offish with us. Overall Our food was fresh & tasty and our deserts was amazing compliments to the chef and a very big thankyou for starting our anniversary weekend off extremely pleasant to the lady i mentioned above! We came all the way from Birmingham i wish we couldve left a tip for her but we will definitely bring it in next time we are there! Very well deserved.

Omg! Pizza Hut is a classic to be honest and a review is definitely unnecessarily for the quality! It never disappoints. I actually ordered it through Deliveroo and got my Pizza hot and fresh! absolutely spot on!

All changed when I was last there but me and my granddaughter enjoyed are time there x

You now have to queue at a counter to order. Only thing that isn't self service is the food delivery to your table, even the doggy box is self service. Apparently the Liverpool 1 restaurant is the first of a national rollout of this service and I will not bother going in anymore. Money saving exercise by the chain but you still pay the same price for less, as you'll see if you check out the salad bar and the distinct lack of cheese on the garlic bread. No thanks pizza hut.
