HORRIBLE HORRIBLE STAY! I’ve been a choice member for years and never experienced this!!! I feel like we should have gotten a partial refund since there was no breakfast which is part of the reason we booked there so we can wake up eat and get on the highway. Hotel looked nothing like online pictures. Location was hard to get to. Very small parking lot has to walk a long way to entrance. African American man checked us in was amazing and friendly. Staff the next morning was awful. Couldn’t speak English well and was rude. Lady at the counter was rude and unknowledgeable. They offer breakfast online but offered only waffles when we were there and said corporate said they can only put out sausages as a bonus but a small amount. They ran out by 7:30 breakfast ended at 9:30. Had cereal with no milk. Didn’t have any yogurt or granola or anything. It was an awful awful awful stay! I will be contacting corporate. Then , got woke up by housekeeping at 10am, 10:15, 10:30.. continuously bothering us to check out and checkout wasn’t until 11am!!! Horrible place to stay. Woke up with bites on both arms so I’m assuming they have bed bugs! Staff is very rude!!!and annoying.

The room was unremarkable yet comfortable. The mini fridge was not set to refrigerate and had an odor. The breakfast on the first morning of my stay was very limited to the extent that I didn't entertain the thought of checking it out the next morning despite one of my other room occupants claiming that the menu had improved. I didn't see interesting sights or attractions near the hotel.

Had a reservation came in a little late, got my room that just so happened to already occupied the front desk awesome lady upgraded free of charge to king suite I was traveling alone big beautiful room all to myself. When check out came I hadn't received my luggage from airport they had no issues with me sitting in their beautiful lobby to wait. Told husband how nice they were to me when they didn't have and he reserved a room for us to stay another night. Rooms are clean, staff awesome, I didn't make to breakfas, but they always have fresh coffee and water in the lobby 24/7. Great visit I'll go back and I'll refer

Great room and service for cheap! Comfy and clean beds, clean washroom. Breakfast is not too heavy but still nice! They have fresh waffles, toast, juices, coffee, fruits, and yogurt. The staff is very kind and helpful! There’s some good food options nearby just gotta look properly, and most places close early.

I am here visiting from Cleveland, Ohio, I booked this room for 1 night It is Tuesday January 23, 5:45 In the morning. I woke up not that long ago because my skin was itchy and i was getting bit by something. I checked and found that there were bed bugs on my bed. Everything was alright before this incident. Would not recommend because of this one incident. Unfortunately now I have to be careful where I go and the clothes that I brought and have to risk spreading it when I back home. I am just speaking for myself but if you don’t mind bed bugs and getting bitten by them when you sleep disregard. Overall my stay was alright. Would not recommend because of the bedbugs.

Room appearance was ok. Needs updating. The curtains couldn't be closed. So someone from the outside could see in our room. The room we had smell like it needed to be cleaned properly. The lady at the desk was excellent and very helpful. But I don't think I'll be back.

All of the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Mark (I think the manager) especially went out of his way to accommodate my accessibility needs. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable & the breakfast was very good. There was adequate handicap parking and it was quiet at night. No unusual or loud noises from other rooms or the hallway.I have already reserved a room for the next time I'm in the area & need to stay overnight.

We reserved the king suite with a sofa bed. The front desk was okay. They got us checked in quickly. Their elevator was slow. We took the stairs and it was quicker. They had a vending machine and ice machine around the corner. Since we got the suite, we were at the end of the hall, which was good bc we didn't have neighbors next to us.

I prayed that we wouldn't catch anything during my stay. This was a little date night stay for me and my husband. The sheets looked clean but that's about it. I didn't want to sit in the chair because, as you can see, it had a nasty looking stain. The carpet didn't look clean and as you can see had holes in it. The tub didn't have a drain stopper. The towels weren't all that clean it had stains on it and was dinghy. The table had bust bunnies ont it. I should have taken a pic of that but I had already cleaned it up before I thought of taking pictures. The room smelled like smoke. I AM NOT A SMOKER. So to me it stunk. I called down to the front desk a couple of times to let them know and see what they could do. After waiting a bit no one answered. Because this was a relaxing stay I tried to keep my stress down and make the best of it. Usually, I would have been more persistent but, again, because this was date night, which we don't get too often........I do not recommend unfortunately.

Absolutely worst experience, was charged 100$ for a slightly damaged lamp (THAT WAS ALREADY THERE BEFORE I GOT TO THE ROOM) they said i should of reported before checking in as if I knew or that it’s THEIR JOB to know before giving a room. Mind u I stayed for over a week so once I asked for the room to be cleaned a couple times here and there (AS I PAID FOR) they told me I’m wasting their staff time. Very rude and disrespectful manager Tanya smiles in your face but talks behind your back and makes her staff do the dirty talking for her! Wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here. There are way too many hotel and staff that will be happy to accommodate you and treat u with respect. Spend your money on hotels that actually respect you!

Susan at the front desk was more than amazing in welcoming us. She has high professionalism and she treated us very kindly. This is the 2nd time I’m staying in this hotel and for the price, it exceeds my expectations

I seldom write reviews. I travel a lot and this hotel is absolutely amazing. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.

This is a great location to rest at !!! Me and my children stayed here and had no problems at all and the front desk people were so helpful and kind. Chanel was such a kind and helpful sweetheart. She was very professional and patient with me and even help me book an additional reservation with my room.. highly recommend this establishment!!!

When I’m in town, I travel and stay at this hotel specifically because of cleanliness and the excellent staff performance. I’ve never had an issues and the hotel has always made me feel like I’m at home. The manager is hands on with staff and involved in every department/guest services.

If you're looking for a good, affordable place to stay during your visit to Detroit, I highly suggest this one. This hotel was exactly what my husband and I needed it to be. Our room was very clean and smelled really nice too (and not in a covering-up-a-smell kind of way). The staff was excellent. They were very kind and warm and actually seemed to take pride in their job. I will be coming back to stay here any time I visit Detroit.

My husband and I stayed on the first floor, and the major problem I had were the curtains not closing. I dont like how our room was right outside of the parking lot and I couldn't even close the curtains, I felt like there was no privacy what so ever. Also there was a coffee station, a fridge, but no microwave? I specifically packed microwavable meals and couldn't eat them. We couldn't even put our clothes up properly as there were no shelves or hangers.

Front desk staff were accommodating. I never heard anyone else while in my room and the room was clean. The hallways had a slight smell but it was no problem for me. Would stay again. As someone else said though, the TV is pretty bad. Mine was an older TV and did not have the correct aspect ratio or colors on HD channels. They could use an upgrade.

We enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel! The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The room was equipped with a fridge which we appreciated. The location of the hotel is about 20 minutes from Detroit center and very accessible. The breakfast had good variety and we enjoyed the waffle maker! The hotel employees were kind and assisted us when needed. We would stay again!

I rarely leave reviews at businesses, but this one, everyone and everything across the board was excellent! Very clean establishment, good ac/heat units, nice beds, hot breakfast (self prepare), gym, shower is good and hot, Buddy's Pizza is NEXT DOOR plus other eateries are very close by, I could go on and on. Best hotel for my needs, I will highly recommend!

Worst experience I have had at a hotel in years. Woke up to kids jumping and running around in the room above us at 1am. Called front desk and they said they would look into it. Called again at 2am and said it was still going on. She said she warned them and if it happened again she was going to kick them out. This went on until 4:30am . Absolutely unacceptable. And then outside of waffles and cereal the breakfast was non existent. Nothing like the reviews from before said.

What a $75.00 room used to get you now cost $100.00. Just needed a room for one night but still want clean and comfortable. The hotel is dated and didn't feel all that clean. Staff was friendly. Room was dark. Shower pressure was good but tub floor was very slippery. Hair & a bit of mold in the shower. Our toilet seat was broken and I had to hold on to it to keep it from slipping. Breakfast items were limited. Won't stay here again. With the current inflation I just need to up my budget.

The manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was welcoming. We got locked out of one of our room and she came in on her day off to help get us in the door to our things and make sure we were good. She was wonderful and very professional. Thank you for such a great stay!

I stayed in this hotel many times before. Usually when the manager is working, everything seems to be alright as she is much more accommodating. This time my experience was not so great. I came for a business stay. The moment I entered the room, there was an odd smell. I thought positive and said it's probably air freshener. The shower had just barely any pressure, I'm not sure if they're trying to save on bills but this is not what I expected. The sink in the room needs attention, the handle slowly turns off the water. Some guests were having a ball right outside the hotel and you can hear them playing music, talking, and laughing pass midnight (12am). The hotel staff did not do anything about it. Finally I wanted to leave a day early and asked if I could have a late checkout, the front desk lady said no because the rooms are booked. She asked me to check out at 11:00am and not even a minute later.

This hotel has been exceptional to me. I have recommended this hotel to all my family and friends. My room was always clean. The staff always smiles and always helpful. They have coffee served all day. The lobby is always very clean and it always smelled fresh and clean. The manager Tana and the Front Desk staff always went out of their way if I need anything. I will return.
