I have stayed several times at The InterContinental in my past visits to Warsaw, and have usually been very pleased with both the accommodation and the service. My wife and I decided to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary here, but were met with unhelpful and downright rude staff, as well as a room with subpar amenities. The ironing board in the room had a small piece of the metal frame sticking out through the middle, which I unfortunately did not notice until it had poked several holes in my dress shirt. We decided to tell this to the receptionist at check-out, who at first did not understand what the issue was until my wife (who speaks Polish) explained it to her. After explaining what had happened, the receptionist - who apparently had not really listened and/or didn’t speak Polish very well either - rhetorically asked “But nothing happened, right?”. We were then brushed off with perhaps the most insincere and robotic ‘apology’ I’ve ever heard. The tone and attitude almost made me doubt if I was being crazy to bring it up. I wasn’t expecting a reimbursement or anything, but a sincere acknowledgment that their broken equipment had ruined my clothes would be the bare minimum that I would expect from the “best hotel in the capital”. I’ve honestly experienced better service at budget hotels. The service once again failed at breakfast, where an employee, who appeared to be the manager, acted in a rude fashion when my wife tried to order coffee. The response doesn’t translate well to English, but the essence is that nobody in the service industry in Poland would typically behave like this to a customer, much less in a high-end hotel like this. My guess is that he thought my wife did not speak Polish. Apart from those negative experiences, the hotel is nice. Breakfast is delicious, the rooms are spacious. The gym and spa on the top floor offer amazing views of the city, although it can get crowded. In the sauna, hygienic rules are often not followed by guests, which is a shame.

Unmatched in hospitality, the service, rooms, amenities, location and staff speak of the high standards set by the hotel. The rooms were clean with a beautiful city view. Wonderful breakfast and courteous staff.

Very good hotel. Great option for business trips. Swimming pool and spa at the roof top is the highlight. Breakfast is very good, just a bit frustrating to wait in line to be seated, takes a long time. WI fi quality wasn't good as well. Other than that very good hotel

Sleek, modern and upscale all accurately describe the Warsaw Intercontinental. The hotel is centrally located across from the Palace. The health club and swimming pool on the top floor are rather elegant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and you have a desk if you are a digital nomad and need some quiet time. My status was recognized and an arrival snack were already in the room. There are some high end dining restaurants worth a visit. Fabulous experience overall.

I had a great stay at the hotel last weekend. I was greeted with exceptional service, and warm hospitality. The staff was very professional, and helpful. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and offered great views of the city. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the historic sites, shops, and restaurants nearby. The on-site dining options were a convenience, offering a wide range of dishes. The hotel truly exceeded all my expectations, and made my visit to Warsaw unforgettable. I will definitely have to go back for a visit!!!

I can’t say anything really bad about this hotel. It has everything you ever want in a downtown spot. Conveniently located 5-10 min walk to central station and across the street from the cultural building. The only issue I had was the temperature of the room which was too warm for my liking. You can only adjust + or - 3 degrees. Anyway, I will definitely consider returning in a future visit to Warsaw.

Amazing hotel. Everything from the room, to the amenities and the customer service. I would say this hotel is a must stay if you are planning to stay in Warsaw. Of course, the gym and the pool are fantastic and are a huge highlight to the stay. The only thing that could be a little better is the price of the parking. You can find cheaper parking down the street. Otherwise, the best hotel stay I’ve had yet.

A perfect birthday stay - starting with being met by a birthday cake in the room on arrival! Really spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows, bath + shower. Rooftop spa with views across Warsaw - this was very busy while we were there and it was hard to get any space in the hot tub / the pool was a little too cold! But very peaceful and relaxing

Top rated hotel, which meets all expectations. Third tallest hotel in Europe with the highest swimming pool with Jacuzzi. The fitness room is on the top level, great and new equipment. Massages are also available anytime. Car parking easily available and accessible. Beautiful cafe on the ground floor. Wonderful breakfast with a harp player for background music. The downtown restaurant offers food choices of great quality, but I did not enjoy the steak for such a high price. There is room for improvement regarding the meat preparation. The rooms are well equipped, the beds are good. However, you can't open the window for fresh air.

Centrally located near to Warsaw center train train station. Shopping center 2 min away. Rooms are spacious and well equipped like you can expect at a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is good and a lot of variety is offered but service is a bit slow. Also the check in and check out was not a 100% satisfying because it was a long queue and at checkin no upgrade was offered as platinum member. At check out I needed to wait for 25 min to check out. Pool and wellness at highest floor is brilliant! Despite of those little issues I highly recommend the hotel and will choose it again.

Cleaning is not the highest stands I thought it will. Glasses not replaced with new one Table was still had my dinner leftovers Soap pack was empty for 6 days. Also take it out of the holder to let the cleaner know - nothing. Room service and massage service too high Besides that - great spa and pool. The crew is amazing. Huge gym ! Overall highly recommended

Hotel is conveniently located in the center of the city and 20 minutes from the airport. Upon arrival You are greeted by several bellmen, front desk staff is very friendly. 6 elevators mean you don’t wait long for one. Rooms are spacious with a large working desk. Bathroom has both walk in shower and a tub. Besides the 4 pillows in the bed, you may request additional pillows based on preferences. Windows have both light shades and drapes for a very dark room. Be careful on the master switch next to the bed, it not only shuts the lights but also the electric plugs (learned the hard way the next morning when my cell did not charge overnight). Restaurant on floor 1 has excellent quality, although a small set of entree options, but presentation and flavor was very tasteful. Breakfast was excellent with live music and everything you can imagine in the buffet.

This is what a covid cluster looks like: No COVID safety rule implemented in the venue (29/10/21) Guests are roaming without masks and no employee or security will ask them to wear masks inside the venue, not the door man at the entry, nor the reception staff, no one... Confronted with this fact the reception leader answered "what can we do ?" maybe ask/instruct your customers ? In summary, clearly not the management style and covid rules one would expect to find in a 5*. Not to mention the Ambassador desk very busy with non ambassador customers and having to wait half hour to be served. Service and safety are simply at the lowest standards there, we felt in a student guest house (but the rooms are nice though)...

With the best possible location, exceptional views and service minded staff, this is a hotel I really would recommend and revisit. The gym and relax area is well equipped, clean and possible has the best view in all Warsaw over the stunning Palace of culture and science? The rooms are generous and the breakfast is really good.

Lovely, quiet, clean room on a high floor. This hotel is excellent, and the price is very reasonable considering how good it is. The rooms are bright, spacious and very comfortable and the service is impeccable. There was a slight issue with our original room and the staff instantly dealt with the problem and gave us a better room - excellent service all round. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room facilities are excellent, as are the views across Warsaw at sunset. I really recommend the InterContinental and I will definitely be returning soon. Easily 5 stars.

Intercontinental Warsaw hotel, restaurants, gym and SPA are in a very attractive central location. We stayed here for a week with a business group. Very friendly staff. The food and drink selection is very excellent and the views from the top floor gym and pool & jacuzzi are great. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Worth staying here again!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast is delicious with live music , the rooms are clean and always well organized and the hotel staffs are always happy to help and satisfy beyond your expectations. We stayed there for two nights, the room they we stayed for our anniversary is amazing palace view.

Stayed at the hotel because of a work event in the evening. The hotel, service and cleanliness was great. The food at the event (buffet style) was unbelievably poor. The signs next to the entrees were written in small dark paper with no possible way to read them in the darkly lit buffet line (room). Maybe this was possibly to disguise the visibility of what would be below average food. Breakfast buffet was slightly better but it would seem you don't want to go to this hotel for the food.

Very good location, clean rooms. The wellness zone and the pool are a total disaster. Everyone leaves their towels all over the place, the floor is constantly wet from all the people splashing water in the pool. Sauna-terrible. Not a relaxing experience at all. Nobody pays attention if the guests are entering in their swimsuits or wearing flip flops in the sauna!!! I am also unhappy with the hotel staff. My friend's bath robe has been taken by the cleaning staff on the second day(it was hanging in the bathroom so we didn't want the bathrobe to be exchanged). Inside there was her swimsuit. It was never found but clearly it was hotel's fault. We were not offered any compensation. I wrote an email again asking about it but nobody bothered to answer me.

This hotel is in a great location. Stayed here for 2 nights while in Warsaw with a tour group. Very friendly staff. Breakfast Buffett had a very nice selection and food was good. Room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. Shower was excellent! Definitely would stay here again!

I've been staying here whenever in Warsaw in business. However, the most recent visit was disappointing. Nothing seemed to work properly: - toilet in the room did not flush - breakfast used to be amazing here, now it is boring and my omelette was runny with cheese that didn't melt at all inside - TV in the room didn't work, but engineer fixed it - steam room was only warm, not hot enough, I had to stand up to feel the heat, from waist down there was no steam - plug by the bed didn't work All in all, it is still a very nice hotel but they definitely need to keep up with the fact that the building is deteriorating. I will stay elsewhere next time.

We are on Day 5 of a 6 day stay, with young kids. Excellent stay all around. Beautiful, clean hotel. Good facilities. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Good location. Nice views. Special shout-out to Piotr at check-in, Oliwia at breakfast, Daniel and Daria from the club lounge, and Klaudia from lobby cafe. Hotel operating very well even at full capacity. Small areas for that could be better: Pool and amenities very crowded most of the day. Bathroom lock didn't work. Many guests don't respect sauna etiquette.

  • 5/5 Borszczuk M. 5 months ago on Google
Worth the price, rooms are great, comfortable and quiet. Big plus is the indoor fitness, jacuzzi, sauna and pool (esp. at the evening). My only complain is there's no fancy fool decoration at the pool so it does not feel fancy during daytime (and there's potential)

Great place to stay in Warsaw! We really liked the room and breakfast was also perfect! However, that’s sad that there is no limit of people in spa zone, that’s why pool and the whole spa zone is really crowded sometimes, especially in the weekend evenings. During this time you will hardly find a space in the sauna and it’s impossible to swim. Of course, it’s also noisy.

What an absolutely superb hotel. My wife & I stayed for three nights in October and had the best time. Helpful staff, amazing food & views to die for. Our room turned out to be a corner apartment! I’m planning a second visit in February with friends and cannot wait to stay at The Intercontinental again. Just brilliant.

This is a very good hotel even if it appears as a typical corporate place. The service and cleanliness are superb. The staff is very friendly despite a tremendous number of travelers that they have to deal with. The pool on a top floor is positively fantastic. Unfortunately, their One Bar spoils a general impression. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, but the necessity to maintain the good tradition of tipping only voluntarily is demonstrated there like nowhere else. It looks sleazy and inappropriate to automatically add a high tip to the bill, regardless of the quality of service. Despite two or three young people behind the counter, no one was coming to the tables neither in the beginning nor at the end. So, the 12% service tip is forced on customers for ... no service. I understand that the hotel might only lease the place to a separate company that runs the bar, but its low quality negatively affects the hotel itself.

Rooms are really big and clean. Only small point that there was not a lot of water pressure on the shower. But over all great bar in the hotel, great breakfast and great service.

Within a week we had 2 different rooms, both with breathtaking views and very large size: one facing the wedding cake building, the other facing the Old Town. I could have had a quieter time at the pool, especially concerning undisciplined, loud children - but what to do?! Breakfast was nice although locals tend to stare unpleasantly - again, what to do?!

Be careful that the hotel will secretly take your money. All my expenses of my first stay period were paid before I left the hotel, but a few days later, when I was staying this hotel again, I received the bank information and the hotel deducted a sum of money unreasonably, after inquiring at the front desk, the stuff was told that a new pre-authorization had been deducted and it already be canceled. But the money wasn't returned to my account until more than a month later, and even now, almost half a year past, nothing returned. When I asked the hotel, their attitude was ignorance and no further investigation until I spent a lot of time checking with my bank to find out that my money had been repeatedly deducted and the bill had been combined by the hotel into my first stay period, not “the pre-authorization”for the second stay period as the hotel staff told me. The attitude of the hotel staff during my consultation was casual and irresponsible. There was no visible in-depth investigation or proactive response to customer losses. I stayed at this hotel for 30 days out of 50 and as a regular guest and platinum member, I can't accept being treated like this. It was a terrible experience and when I looked at the hotel's reviews, I saw that this situation had happened a number of times on other customers. I felt very angry, A brand that prides itself on being a premium hotel shouldn't be doing this. Deeply disappointed with Intercontinental and Intercontinental Warsaw. I want a explanation and my money back. I will do what I have to do if things can't be resolved properly. Never gonna check in this hotel again.

Great hotel and staff. I wish all hotels were as clean and well-maintained as this one. Breakfast comes with a large buffet. My room had a fantastic view. The hotel is situated next to a large shopping mall and a big railway station, which is convenient. The lady playing the harp during breakfast impressed me, too. So overall, this is a really, really good hotel.

Wow. My stay in this hotel was absolutely phenomenal from the moment I checked in til the moment I checked out. We were greeted at reception check by the lovely Paulina who was the most friendly and helpful. I noticed she had a trainee badge and if she is this amazing early on in the job I can imagine how much better she will get, she is an asset to this hotel. We were kindly upgraded to a room on the club floor. The room exceeded any expectation I had, it was huge, super clean and the attention to detail in the decor was incredible. Bath and shower was a bonus as most hotels offer one or the other. Cute toiletry sets were also provided which is a super cute touch. The concierge service was impeccable as any time I rang (for an adapter or bath robe for the spa) they were attentive and quick to deliver to the room with a smile. The view from the room was spectacular (specifically at night time) and the bed was super cozy. The wellness centre was spotless , with beautiful views of the city from the jacuzzi or loungers. Absolutely amazing stay. I would be happy to return again to stay in this room

Great location, the best self-service breakfast I've seen. On the other hand, the service was not the nicest and despite asking me what drinks I wanted at the breakfast, she never brought my coffee and orange juice. The rooms are OK, big and clean but outdated.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Warsaw. Knowing the town well we wanted to try something different and it well matched the expectations. Great views onto Wola and the Palace of Science and Culture, kind staff and tasty breakfast add up - I can totally recommend.

Me and my fiancé had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We got upgraded for the room without any charge. Service is very good and staff are very helpful. ⭐️❤️ Rooms are amazing and very comfortable. We had access to the spa. They have a jacuzzi, swimming pool and 2 different saunas. 😁 🧖🏾‍♀️ 🧖‍♂️ So relaxing 😎. The spa is at the top of the hotel where you can have a view of whole Warsaw 🥰 thank you for having us and this place was perfect to end our trip in Poland 🇵🇱❤️💫

Unacceptable experience and terrible service & communication. I was planning my trip to Warsaw for a couple of days. I called the hotel in advance to make a reservation at the Spa. They told me it is no problem and we should just come by. I asked several times (also regarding the Covid-19 situation) but the friendly lady on the telephone assured, that it's absolutely straight forward and that we don't have to worry at all. I even told her the day we would come. We came there by Uber and went to the reception just to hear, that we cannot go to the Spa, because they "don't have availabilities for non-hotel-guests". I told her that I called in advance and nobody told me anything about that. She said she can't do anything in an unfriendly manner. The only solution she offered to us was, that we come back 5 days later... I mean really!? She could've been friendly and solution oriented. We even thought of booking one night only for the Spa. But then we decided against, because of this terrible customer service. I've never experienced something like that in an InterContinental around the world. You should be ashamed of treating your guests like that. Reply: That's why I've called you in advance. I asked for Covid restrictions. You never told me about them in the first place. You just said: "It will be fine, just come by" If you would've told me that before, I would've been able to adjust my plans. But the first time I heard about priotizing hotel guests, was when I was at the hotel. And as I said: You weren't acting solution oriented, you were extremely unfriendly and just told me that it's not possible, instead of "You can book a night to enter". Whatever, I will definitely not come back. This is absolute mismanagement and miscommunication.

Amazing location and views through the windows. However, the hotel would definitely benefit from renovation, especially the spa, which is nothing nice or pleasant. Service and cleanliness is barely barely average, the tiles are old, design is also old. While in jacuzzi I had a feeling of dirtiness and just wanted to get out. Also the jacuzzi is crowded which adds to the dirtiness. I give this hotel 3 stars only for the location and the views.

This is our hotel of choice when we visit Warsaw. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are clean and the pool area is perfect. The breakfast area is one of the best I have seen. If you have access to the upper lounge, the food, beverages, and staff are terrific as well. But the view is outstanding!!!!

Great stay at the Intercontinental Warsaw. No complaints about any general amenities. Staff was very friendly and a special mention goes to the concierge for a great depth of knowledge when it came to restaurants in the area and a willingness to help. Gym facilities, pool, sauna and steam room were all clean and well maintained. I had a slight water issue which was quickly resolved. Would mention only that I wish the business centre opened a bit earlier.

A fine international hotel. We had a regular room and a suite. Large with a nice bathroom with a bathtub. The hotel has a small pool, spa, massage and fitness/gym. There is a posh restaurant and the breakfast is good with plenty of different food, including omelet, sausages, bacon, pancakes, crepes, waffles, pastries, bread, fruits and vegetables. Coffee was good, freshly pressed orange juice, champagne etc. it’s well situated close enough to the “old” city.

If you do not respect yourself, if you have low self-esteem, if you have never loved yourself and have never appreciated yourself, then this hotel is for you! In the old, uncomfortable rooms, you get the feeling that time has stopped there decades ago. The carpets in the rooms are faded from old age. The rooms are small and bad looking, the water in the toilet didn't flush well. We rented a room with lounge access. In short, we went into the room, stayed there for less than 5 minutes, and since we love and respect ourselves, we immediately rented a room in another hotel. We rented a great suite at the Radison Collection and will never return to the Intercontinental again. The InterContinental Hotel has very poor rooms. By the way, their staff understands everything very well and they themselves recommended another hotel to us. And yes, the intercontinental did not return the money to us, but this hotel is so bad that we did not care about money, it is not suitable for people who have the financial means.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet magnificent, even had home produced honey comb. Swimming pool on 43rd floor is stunning but very busy and not that large. Good location too, few minutes walk from the central station.

This hotel was the best part about my trip to Warsaw. I chose the high room with Palace view and I asked the concierge to give me the best view and she did! The rooms are clean and spacious, the view is worth the price, the service is high end and the breakfast was so so good (the best in Warsaw). They also gave us complimentary cake for Christmas! I will be staying there again during my next visit to Warsaw for sure!
