Excellent walking tour. Saw all the key sights and had interesting information about them. Starts at the Copurnicus statue and ends in the middle of Old Town. It lasts around 3 hours or so and had a toilet break. The walk is fast but suitable for everyone. Since it's free there aren't really any complaints that I can make and he answered all my additional questions. Great choice in Warsaw

Historic Warsaw tour with Ana - 100 % recommendations! Ana’s very charismatic, has a good wit and a great sense of humour. The tour is well composed and has a good balance of historical information and some fun facts.

Great tour on the old town part of Warsaw with tour guide Ania. She knows all the cool facts and always able to answer all your questions. Plus, she’s funny! Highly recommend.

Pretty good tour, but don’t start begging for money in your first sentence. When we join a free tour, we understand that your businessmodel depends on tips. But if you’re asking for money five times, don’t advertise it as free. Pretty good tour though.

I think we were unlucky with our guide. I've enjoyed numerous walkative tours in Europe but the one we went on in mid November was the most boring thing I've ever experienced. The guide rambled on and on and on and we hardly moved down the street in 30 min. The tour started off fairly big but after 30 min, 4 of us at least left, after paying the guide a fair payment for the 30 min of his time. It was such a shame, as we had hoped to learn so much about Warsaw, which is a great city. We were just unlucky with our guide.

Olivia proved to be an excellent and entertaining guide, going beyond just sharing dates and names by providing genuinely interesting information. She added significant value to our visit to Warsaw!

We have been on world war 2 tour with Jacek, and it was amazing. Interesting stories and great sense of humor. I will definitely do it once again, the guide was really knowledgeable and because it was heavy snowing and the wind was blowing, he was trying to find some hidden places with roof on top, so we could stay somehow in calm and warm places while he was telling interesting story. Definitely recommend!

The best way to make friends when traveling. I took 3 tours with this company. The group's (audience) vibe is uauayvery frindly even in cold and horrible weather. The tours also took place on New Years eve. The guides are passionate, fun, entertaining and engage with the audiance. The tours take place even when it's extremely cold and when it drizzles. On long tours (more than 2 hours) there ia a coffee and bathroom break.

1 tour. Historic Warsaw. What is specific about Olivia's tour is how she actually told many details and facts about the historic Warsaw and Poland. I was surprisingly pleased. Usually, these types of tours tend to bend toward the pop side with some spicy details, omitting real knowledge and in-depth facts. However, as a Lithuanian, I got some new insides that Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth was just Poland all the time. It must be Mandela Effect [sarcasm]. 😊. Nevertheless, recommended. 5 stars to Olivia and the Polish People who rebuilt the beautiful Old Town. 2 tour. Communist Warsaw. I think the tour is balanced for people who already know some history or endured the joys of communism. I especially liked Luke's references on the topic of free speech restrictions during the regime, with a sophisticated link to what is happening now. 10/10. Guide Luke is a man of principle and pays taxes. You will get your receipt whether you pay cash or card. Legal business. Because it is how civilized people behave. By the way, those few who escaped without paying Luke for the services (yes, I saw you) – shame on you.

Agneszka (or Agnes) made us fall in love with Warsaw and its history. She is such a great tour guide! Super clear, very well structured on all points through the history, super informed answering all questions above & beyond the tour, super nice and funny and what a voice you could clearly understand! We could have listened to her so much longer She also provided so many very helpful tips from really good restaurants (ate there on her recommendation), exchange places with best conditions, clean public toilets, cheap and amazing viewpoints and so much more. If you want to have a great experience, go with her!

It was such a well spent 2 hours and a half! Andres was great and really knowledgeable, he made the whole experience very enjoyable and kept us all engaged for the entire duration, in spite of the chilly weather.

Very good and enjoyable tour. Our guide, Wioletta, did a great job explaining the indicated and long history of Poland, with a couple of fun anecdotes and lots of recommendations. She was on top of relevant data and up to date with everything going on in the country.

We had so much fun on our tour today through Warsaw. The guide was great! He knew so much about the city and had an answer to everything and he was also very funny. We recommend doing the tour when visiting Warsaw.

Best tour I’ve ever experienced all because of the AMAZING and captivating tour guide, Lukasz (Luke). Let me tell you, that man is a story teller! Everyone was completely engaged and waiting on his every word. He had so many interesting stories and he is just hilarious. By the end of the tour, I was in love with him. Uh, the city! I mean, I was in love with the city ;)

We participated to the Alternative Warsaw tour with Ana and Warsaw Historic center tour with Jack. Both of them were extremely interesting. A Walkative tour is definitely the best way to get an in depth knowledge of what you can see in Warsaw. Would recommend without any doubt !

We took two tours of Warsaw with Olivia, both were the Warsaw old city walking tours. Our families thoroughly enjoyed learning the history of the city, and seeing the locations and landmarks of the old town. Olivia showed some interesting pictures from a folder she was carrying, with details of historical facts and figures. She also shares helpful tips and tricks for tourists and locals alike.

I had big Tom in Krakow and he was by far the best tour guide I’ve had in all my Europe travels. His jokes were fantastic. He was lively, even in the freezing cold. He kept our group alive and was extremely knowledgeable. I wish I had him for all my tours.

Amazing tour! Super fun and informative. We have learned a lot about Polish history as well as culture. It made our trip all the more interesting.

We did the historic centre with Jacek and it was really good! He is passionate, humorous and knowledgeable. We walked a lot which is also always good for a "walking" tour, instead of only standing in one place for a history lesson for 30 minutes. After his introduction, I feel there are many still to be seen in Warsaw and I would like to come back. Highly recommended!

Great experience! Our guide was wonderful and we could have gone on another hour! We paid for a Chopin concert the evening before and it was also very good. The prefect amount of time for us!

We took the Jewish Warsaw tour with a knowledgeable and very straight forward guide (Andreas I believe). We learned a lot about the far and not so far past of Warsaw as it relates to the (at times huge and at other times non existent) Jewish community. We enjoyed it so much that we later joined his old city tour as well.

Very good walk. Our guide Max was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also a good storyteller, with the correct sense of humor to the city’s otherwise dark history.

I participated in the free walking tour “the Jewish Warsaw “with the tour guide Agnes. She did an amazing job to explain a lot of history in 2 hours. Despite the fact that the wheater was not the best and she was freezing😂, she still managed to the an amazing job. The tour was very informative and interesting. And you get to learn about things you probably would not know by yourself. Great job!

The tour is free to book for individuals or groups smaller than 7. The guide will ask for tips in the beginning and the end, very directly. It is normal, I imagine. These guys come up high on a Google search and they attract a good crowd. I would call this more of a talking tour, less of a walking tour. You walk about a mile. You learn some history of the city and the wars it has been in. Don't expect to take lots of photos, you will see 4 to 5 spots within a mile radius. It is a good tour, just keep in mind its focus is talking, not walking.

I had an excellent tour of The Jewish Quarter with Ania, who was friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour especially, because the information given and the sites we visited would be harder to find on your own (since almost all of the Jewish Quarter was destroyed in WWII)

They made us pay 8€ each person just for being turist, we had two different reservations and they counted just as one.

Such a friendly and well-humored guide. I recommend for any new comers to the city to do this tour. A suggestion though - give suggestions along the tour where to eat.

Two tours: Warsaw Historic Centre, Alternative Warsaw. Both with guide Łukasz (Luke). We enjoyed it a lot. The guide is charismatic and tells very interesting stories, with many jokes. Highly recommended guide :) The tours are well planned, with break for coffee in the middle, and cover the most important parts of Warsaw.

Warsaw Historic Centre was, by far, the best walking tour I'd ever take. Jack was brilliant, sharp, and funny when it came to the history of the city, and went beyond by explaining little things about polish culture and language. If you would like to enjoy more Warsaw while you are walking on the streets, this tour is mandatory.

  • 5/5 Sabīne J. 2 years ago on Google
Despite the cold weather we enjoyed all 2+ hours of the tour in Warsaw historical centre. Our tour guide Tomasz did a really wonderful job of combining historical knowledge with legends and fun facts about Warsaw. Recommend!

We did a tour with Lukasz and it was great. I’ve been to many walking tours before but this was one of the top ones. Lukasz showed us all the interesting parts of the old town Warsaw, he was really funny, thoughtful and well prepared for every situation. I highly recommend tours with Lukasz and Walkative!

Every single tour is worthy. Andrés is a very good guide, passionate about what he does and shares a lot of information and personal experiences. Mandatory if you are visiting Warsaw and you don't know much about the city and it's history.

  • 5/5 Alexandra L. 1 year ago on Google
Lukas is one of the best guides I've experienced on free walking tours in European cities. His talking was very engaging, for some people maybe too theatrical, but I liked it, since he managed to have my full attention. Luke mentioned all the important information about Warsaw, told us funny, but true stories and legends. His English was very professional. In his bag, he had even cell phone chargers or first aid kit. At the end of the tour we had a short quiz and could win the best krówkas in the city. We were given some good recommendations - many more were included in the map which we got as a bonus. The guide showed us all the important tourist places/attractions, we had one break for coffee/free toilet. It was perfect, thank you, Luke.

  • 5/5 Salvatore 1 year ago on Google
It was awesome tour. Andres, the guide, was perfect. He explained everything about the city not only by speaking but also with small theater activities to help us to understand properly the history of the city. I kindly recommend this tour.

  • 5/5 Dan D. 1 year ago on Google
I took the tour with Andrés on a sunny and windy Sunday afternoon in June. He was immediately very nice and friendly but at the same time organized and professional. With his clear and understandable English even to non-native speakers he made us discover the center of Warsaw and the historical aspects of some buildings and monuments of the city. The notes on the particularities of the Polish language and the historical events of Poland were very interesting too. In a friendly and interactive way, and often pleasantly theatrical, in a short time he made us discover many aspects of the Polish culture whose charm could not be seen by reading a guide. I definitely recommend Andrés to discover Warsaw.

Very interesting tour we had through Krakow with our guide. One thing why it is so nice is that you absolutely look at a different way to the same square where you walked already several times. Our guide was very nice and knows a lot, so worth to explore the city withe these guys!

  • 5/5 Yvonne U. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely tour. Lasted a bit over 2 hours, but didn't feel long as the guide was really good. Information was shared in an organized and interesting way (also funny!), good balance of walking and talking too. Covered all the main spots I wanted to see. Recommended!
