We've been here many times for the past two years. Love all the items on the menu, lovely owners, reasonable price. This time we tried their mixed party pack which was soooo fesh, yummy, and gorgeous 🥰 Must try! 5 star!

Saw the reviews in Google and thought of giving it a try. It surprised me because I just living near by yet didn't know the place until I google them. The unagi Don is really yummy and sashimi is very fresh! They have been there for 15 years and remain a good quality of foods! 👍

Yummy Japanese food at an affordable price! I got here just before closing time, right after a long day at work... Although I was the last customer for the day, no effort was spared to cook up this lovely teriyaki fish don! Great hospitality and wonderful friendly owner.

Wished the food was as good as the customer service, disappointed. Ordered a katsu chicken curry, and miso soup. The chicken of the katsu chicken curry was sooo salty, the sauce was loaded with sauce, and the chicken serving size was tiny and barely any meat at all, same with the curry it was too salty, couldn't taste the curry much. The rice was a bit mushy as well. The miso soup was the biggest disappointment, it didn't taste like miso soup, it lacked flavour and was basically watered down miso to the point of almost tasting like warm water, sigh. The music was just not appropriate as well, won't come back again unfortunately.

Nice, homely meal with beautiful salmon especially. A quality stop for a quick meal, it’s great to be able to support a family-owned business. Had a lovely time and enjoyed the food.

As some have said, food did not match up with what the reviews say. Below average to be honest, at least the sushi. Even for the price. Secondly - this may be a one-off, but it's still worth mentioning - I ordered a nigiri combo with various fish, but they made it with just salmon... Apparently they didn't have any other fish at the time, but didn't think to tell me about it before I paid lol. To be fair the owners are really friendly and I would have rated service much higher if it wasn't for that incident.

A simple but relaxed ambience in one corner near nunawading station. vergy good price for a yummy and flavorful food. I love that its a family owned business. Good customer swrvice and a very generous serving. I will surely comeback and will be my go to places when im craving for japanese food. kudos to the owner.. .

My wife and I were just looking for a quick lunch before going bike riding. We dropped in at Oedo's. The owners were very friendly. We were the only dine-in diners but there were quite a few take outs while we were eating. We enjoyed the salmon sushi and the chicken teryaki. OK quality food and good value for money.

very homey experience… the lady was very sweet, and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. the food wasn’t a “woaw!!!” but was filling, warm and made with love. relatively cheap for a wonderful meal.

Best sushi I’ve ever had if not, taste so much better than the big sushi restaurants, the lady at this place was sooo nice and food are also very decently priced, I’m definitely coming back!!

had read great reviews but sadly did not measure up, it is obvious reviewers do not normally consume great Japanese food and unfortunately it was very ordinary. It was only $80 for dinner so i suppose you cant be too harsh.

Love the food, great prices, and wonderful service. Had lovely crispy chicken bento this evening complete with a refreshing cup of miso soup. Will definitely be going back!

Sushi platter was below average. Sashimi was sliced very thin and they only have salmon but did not inform us when we ordered the mixed platter. Teriyaki beef don also lacked flavour. Below average experience overall

Sunday morning and no food sitting there ready for me to takeaway, but even better, they made whatever I wanted fresh in 5-10min. I chose the Delux Pack for $12 and it was delicious! It's not a showy place - simple decor, but I'll definitely be back. Friendly, welcoming people.

By far the best food I've had in quite a while. The lovely couple serving my partner and I were so sweet, they made us feel so welcome. Such a lovely little family owned restaurant that deserves more publicity. Everything was so well priced, I was expecting to pay much more. I can't wait to go back and eat their food again!

Relaxed atmosphere with always fresh, reasonably priced sushi and sashimi. Their hot food is delicious too! The owners are super lovely and the restaurant is always nice and clean.
