For a budget friendly hotel, this hotel would definitely exceed your expectations. The public areas had a well designed garden housing the restaurant and breakfast area which was really lovely. Service all round was very very good and the rooms were both absolutely clean and spacious. Would definitely return to Premier Inn Wolverhampton if I find myself back in the city. Massive shoutout to Calvin who was a great all round help and also assisted with escalating my booking complaints. Ella and Chloe were also some of the sweetest service staff you can get , checked me in seamlessly but also were on hand to answer any questions that I had and provided recommendations around Wolverhampton. Lovely staff who definitely deserve to be complimented for the work they do. Them alone makes me want to come back to stay here.

i just wanted to write to say thank you for an excellent 3 day stay . We travelled with our 3 year old and all the staff were so attentive. The room was spotless and great facilities . A special thanks to the gentleman on the front desk with tje rainbow lanyard who gave a welcome pack to my daughter and enthusiastically entertained her whenever we walked past x We will be back soon.

Nice welcome from the Staff who were very helpful. Room pleasant but have stayed in better. Just on the outskirts of town which is walkable although we got taxis there and back due to time. Would definitely return.

It was a quiet one due to late check in time -3pm. I didn't get to check in until 10.45pm due to my engagement and checked out 10.30a.m the following day. It would have been lovely if check in time is 12noon. I didn't really get the feel of the surrounding.

Really nice premier inn, very central, right next to the station, good rooms and nice staff. I wouldn't reccomend eating at the restaurant, but there is an aldi next door and loads of cheap places to get ya scran! Also right next to the canals which is a nice, but littered, walk

Been here twice now and the rooms are lovely and quiet and clean, no issues except that I am disappointed with the Wi-Fi. The free Wi-Fi never works in your room and also doesn’t work in the bar. Even when I change settings for data even that doesn’t work but when you go outside it does work on data. I have the feeling you are encouraged to pay for the premier inn ultra Wi-Fi at £5 per day. I think it’s done deliberately. Flipping ridiculous to charge for this when the rooms are priced well, aren’t they?

Stayed here for 2 nights. Terrible experience. First of all, there was a dangerous spider in our room…what the hell. Next, we paid £40 for breakfast and it was actual poison. It arrived late, frozen food fresh out of the fridge, it tasted nasty, and my friend got food poisoning. There is a white bald night staff member extremely rude and racist because we invited a 3rd friend and he was willing to pay for a room but the bald guy lied it was full, told us to get out and he kicked out our friend as he was a racist staff member. We are pursuing a lawsuit against him. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Visited here for work overnight. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which isn't always the case at the Premier Inn. The room was very clean and tidy, and the overhead shower was powerful and had a good temperature. Great shower. This is one of the good ones Insta: #teamnewnes

Nice place in need of a little upgrade. Comfy and clean with a table table restaurant next door. Breakfast was good and the service too. Was advised there was a wedding party and could be slightly noisy and breakfast busy but it was quiet and had a great night's sleep.

Often stay at Premier Inn. It is what it is, a good reasonable price hotel. On this occasion the young lady in reception was VERY helpful. I asked if she knew of any good local Indian restaurant within walking distant. Although she didn't know she later called me and not only did she give me details she offered to book a table for me and my friends which she did. It was a good restaurant...... this young lady went beyond what I would normally expect......

The staff were excellent, very polite and friendly. Room was nice, good value, clean. Breakfast at the restaurant is well worth it.

I cannot thank their staff enough. I seldom write reviews but the two receptionists working last night (8 March) were a credit to the company - I had a potentially big issue which they resolved quickly and politely. The staff this morning were also so helpful and very cheery. Well done.

My friend got spiked on a night out and I took her to her room, the reception staff kicked up a fuss as I was apparently unauthorised to be in the room but ahe was a mess and they had no intentions of helping. When her boyfriend came to help they threatened to call the police on him even though he had a key! Avoid at all costs

Terrible night sleep, noisy neighbours. Premier Inn don't honor their guaranteed good nights sleep. Ba next door were very rude, literally threw our drinks at us then decided to close early as soon as we sat down. Breakfast the next day, we waited over 30 mins for a table (restaurant only had 1 member of staff and practically empty) then another 30 mins for breakfast. Buffet was depleted and coffee machine not working.

I've stayed in many a premier Inn and this one is probably the worst. The area around the hotel is not nice at all. Staff were miserable as sin and very slow to serve people, parking charges apply and the WiFi was absolutely pathetic. The bed was very comfortable though. Breakfast next door was awful, 3 days running I ordered poached eggs and each time they came out rock hard and the bacon was uncooked, on a plus note, at breakfast I didn't catch the petite black lady servers name but she was lovely and friendly so full credit to her.

Stayed here for business this month, the location was very central and ideal for my trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful which isn’t always the case with this chain, no problems here. Sadly the room wasn’t great and the climate system was damaged and out of use, added to the location next to reception and it was not the most restful couple of nights.

Was warned straight away that they would not be doing daily housekeeping but they would do what was required if requested. Main problem I had was with the lack of tea/coffee etc already in the room, but the reception desk had extra ready for us when we returned. Did have a small difficulty with the toilet flush system and the bedside light switches, only chose to report these when checking out as it was the Christmas holiday period and decided for ourselves not to bother until then.

The hotel is decent for a place to sleep and really central. It’s right behind the station which is up on a platform so a slight walk to the hotel. Even though it was close to the station I never heard the trains. Biggest downside was that the parking isn’t free. It’s £3 for 24 hours which is fine for just one night but they didn’t tell us in advance. My window didn’t open but there was working aircon so it wasn’t too bad. It was quiet and the restaurant next to it was super cheap and still good quality food. Great for just a place to dump your stuff and sleep for the night.

Good location, great hotel staff. Rooms were tidy and clean The attached restaurant did a good breakfast lovely friendly staff. Only knocks a star off as premier Inn have moved to single ply, single sheet toilet paper which is only slightly better than the school toilet paper used in the 80's.

Staff were friendly. The hotel is very dirty and dusty in need of a clean. The first room we had was very dirty. Fortunately we were moved to one of the newer rooms after. I would actually close the hotel for a few days and clean it. I also received a parking ticket even though I paid for parking. Overall a good hotel if you want to stay I that location otherwise I'd stay elsewhere. Parking system doesn't work either.

One of the better places in Wolverhampton! That should tell you something. As Premiers go this one's a good one. Breakfast cooked to order. Great poached eggs

Very tired and somewhat dated hotel. The room was in dire need of refurbishment - loose sockets, squeaking doors, windows that wouldn't open. The bed was large but uncomfortable. Walls and floors/ceilings were paper thin, or perhaps a herd of elephants were staying on the floor above and somewhere along the corridor from me. TV signal quality no better than average, the remote had a mind of its own, and the sound was either "11" or inaudibly low. Breakfast was a journey to the adjoining restaurant, decent but unspectacular fare which arrived quickly but was a bit bland. Coffee was warm, brown and wet, not overly tasty though. In short, close to the train station and city centre, but I wouldn't rush to go back there.

I am really going to miss this Place when I return to Germany. Their Diverse Hospitality Staff is better than Satisfactory. Both myself and my Children felt at Home from Day one. As for the Food. Just wait until I post the Photographs. I can't Thank you Enough, perfect for International Visitors.

Mix up on booking, reception couldn't sort it, overcharged by £62. Had to contact customer relations, who after 30 mins waiting to speak to someone, sorted it. Room nice, but think it would be better for parking to be absorbed in room price, not paid separately.

Absolutely superb service in this modest hotel in a convenient location. Rang up the day before and enquired about an early check-in. I was given no promises but on the day of arrival I was allowed into a room 3.5 hours earlier than guaranteed. My partner forgot her toothbrush and staff kindly provided her with one. Very attentive reception team who really did go the extra mile.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, I'm disabled and a regular visitor to wolves speedway. The hotel staff are fantastic and friendly. They go the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. I always have a ground floor room and the staff always make this possible.

Staff so helpful as was confusion over double & family room we were meant to have booked a family room but when arrived it was a double. The ladies on reception Ella & Amelia couldn’t have done anymore to help us and made sure we got the extra bed we needed even though the hotel was almost fully booked & extremely busy they worked together to ensure others arriving were also looked after whilst still looking after us as best as possible. We are very grateful to them for ensuring this was sorted. Room as always were clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our short stay only reason for 4 start & not 5 is as its one of the older versions premier inn slightly smaller rooms & beds but no major complaints just a heads up for others booking to expect the slightly smaller older rooms. Will definitely continue to use premier inn hotels for future trips! & thank you again to both the girls on reception!!

A night out in Wolverhampton, hotel right next to train station. Although we could see it ,because of ongoing work it was a bit of a treak to get to. Within walking distance to town centre. Staff were great and very helpful.

[May 2020] Booked by my employer. First stay with Premier Inn. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room large, with decent TV and channels, and a kettle and cups. Bed comfortable. Very stuffy in the room - would love to have opened the window but sealed in like a prisoner. Decor and carpet a little sad. Reminded me of 1974. If I had been paying I probably would have spent more to stay somewhere else.

Hotel is very good. Do not make the mistake of booking breakfast in their Blubrick restaurant. The service is very unprofessional. There is only one waitress who waste her time chatting to clients she likes and served my breakfast half an hour late, cold. I had to go through this for seven days. I do not know why I had to wait half an hour for cold breakfast. She said, they are kept on a hot plate once they are cooked. She touched my plate. It was cold. The restaurant claims ‘hot cooked breakfast’. Why can’t it be served immediately? I definitely do not recommend breakfast if you’re coming here for work

Room was nice, clean and big enough. Over looking train station but couldn't hear trains. Glad of air con! I would say bathroom due updating but was generally OK. Reception staff friendly and helpful . Overall a nice stay

Arrived in Wolverhampton and checked in to the hotel and received a nice welcome from the staff at reception. Our room was nice and clean but after a little while we realised our bed was broken on the edge and not really ideal for a good night's sleep. I went off to explain the problem at reception and the girls were more than happy to resolve the situation and replace the bed, moving one from the top floor down to our room. A special thank you to Beth and Amelia who were both amazing.

We booked Premier Inn as just a place to lay our head and the price wasn't much different from Air B&Bs and other hotels in the area. However, I remember Premier Inns being well looked after and modern. This one is very rough and ready and needs some modernisation and deep cleaning. Breakfast was OK, and there was not much option with the continental breakfast for £7.50! Location is great as its in the city and it had a very secure car park for £3 a night. They could also clean up the outside with all the cigarette butt's and include a cigarette bin ... Please also sort out your hair dryers as they are terrible and take an age to dry anything.

Stayed there last night as I had to visit Wolverhampton on a work trip. Room was ok very noisy due to people slamming the doors. The only good thing was the nice girl at reception. Went to eat in the restaurant where I had to wait for 20 mins for a glass of coke and 55 minutes for a burger that was practically two pieces of chicken in a bun with some salad. Staff at the restaurant couldn’t care less and it was extremely visible they didn’t want to be there. Rude and not pleasant at all. It is certain that I will not be staying there again. Such a shame as I’ve stayed in quite a few Premier inns across the country and always had a pleasant stay.

Location’s good. Restaurant is pretty poor. Missed key ingredients from meal. Premium wifi was non existent and the standard was not good enough to work. Basically wasted an entire evening unable to work from room or the restaurant. Found out the next morning wifi was down. Spent an hour in hold to Virgin media who took 2x£5 off me for nothing.. Utterly useless work stay. Would not stay there again. 🤦🏻

Located close to City Centre and next to train station. Reception was staffed 24 hours and all staff I encountered were polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was served in the pub/ restaurant next door and I felt it was a bit slow but was ok. Staff were nice enough though.

  • 2/5 Rach Y. 1 year ago on Google
Room OK, bathroom in need of decorating, looked a little shabby. Reception staff were lovely and friendly. Unfortunately the biggest let down was the Breakfast at the adjoining restaurant in The Blue Brick. Bacon tasted old, scrambled egg looked like expanding foam and is wasn't very tasty. No plates at toast station. The lady running the restaurant was frazzled but didn't deal with the many complaints she received. Not the usual standard or welcome I have experienced from the Premier Inn breakfast team. Wouldn't book breakfast here again.

Service excellent especially the restaurant staff who were very cheery. Room was good although stain on futon, and a little damp smelling. Bed comfortable although pillows very firm.

  • 1/5 Alison D. 1 year ago on Google
Blue Brick Restaurant was awful. Husband waited an hour and a half because they forgot about him after seating him, then tried blaming him for their poor service desert was also microwaved to within an inch of its life. Staff were rude do not recommend. Hotel was typical of its kind with better staff than the adjoining blue brick.

Cancelled our booking with less than 24 hours until our stay on one of the busiest weekends of the year with no explanation. Sometimes things happen and a cancellation is unavoidable, but the way they dealt with it was shocking. We had absolutely no communication - I received an automated cancellation email which read as if I had decided to cancel, then continued receiving automated emails about our upcoming stay as if it wasn't cancelled. At no point were we told why or even offered an apology for cancelling our trip so last minute. I only found out why it was cancelled after spending 30 mins trying to get hold of someone via phone to ask about a refund.
