Highly recommend this place. What a great chef, he has amazing recipes. The Best chef I’ve come across in all of Sri Lanka. Everything was delicious. The tuna steak is severed with a delicious rare baby coconut. This place is a must!

We had a great meal at this place! We went for the gazpacho and the falafel burger. Super tasty! The iced coffee is the best one I had in Sri Lanka. They add extra spices what makes the iced coffee very unique. Highly recommend :)

I love the genuineness of the chef, his talent and attention to details in each dish he gave. It’s like having a 5-star dinner at a hidden cozy place. Seeing how my food was cooked was definitely enjoyable! Everything is delicious! Highly recommend!!

This place was great. We WhatsApp’d the owner and he sent over menu pics and just told us to give a date and time with what we wanted. (This was during lockdown times) We were a group of four and everything was delicious. I got whatever fish he recommended that wasn’t tuna and the dish was soooo goood. The purée and veg was magnificent. My partner got the shrimp and avocado salad which was huge! And my friends ordered the chicken burger and pasta. All were great. The pasta with creamy sauce was especially amazing. Sweet little joint with two tables for more higher end food for a good price.

We passed by this restaurant a few days ago and I decided to find it online. The owner/chef is really nice and accommodating. He even said he can cook anything of our choice! So we decided to order something that’s not really on the menu (Seafood Platter with lobster). This is just the best seafood we’ve tasted in Sri Lanka! Definitely recommend his restaurant!!!

A lot went wrong here, maybe it was a bad day. Cappuccinos were watery, not what we expected given previous reviews. The two of us ordered prawn burger and tuna steak. The burger was served nearly cold and 10 minutes before the tuna, which meant it was finished by that time. Flavours of the burger were good. The tuna steak was ordered to be medium rare, what we got was less than rare and the majority of the meat was still 'fridge' cold. Upon returning it to the kitchen, they served us the same piece this time overcooked. Everything written here I told them in person and they took off the Cappuccinos from the bill. Hopefully next time will be a better experience.

We've been here twice and I can really recommend the tuna steak!!! and the burger. Both were cooked on point and better than any other places we visited in Weligama. Unfortunately they don't serve beer. But if you bring some you can drink it there. (Cargill's and the liquor store are both not far away, so you can just get some while you wait. But don't take to long, because unlike most places in Sri Lanka these guys are quite quick with their food) We'll be back in Weligama in about a week and we'll definitely be back at fat burner live kitchen

This place is amazing . If you love seafood this place is a must to go. A lot of varieties available. And the food is so fresh and tastes amazing. I highly recommend the place. If you have a burger from this place you will definitely come back again' it is that good trust me ! Juicy n tasty 😋

The food is soooo delicious!!! It is the man's own small restaurant and cooks himself. You can also see him cooking which is very nice! I strongly recommend this place if you are in Weligama.

My favorite place in weligama so far. It’s run by the friendliest guys, they always got great reggae music playing, the food is exceptional. A definite hidden gem. Come once and then come again for the vibes.

I would recommend this to everyone who comes to Sri Lanka and passes by Weligama! The food was so good and like easily one of the best things I ate during my whole month in Sri Lanka. We took the gazpacho as a starter and after tasting that we already knew that everything was going to be so good. After that we also took the buffalo wings and the prawn burger and both were so delicious 🤤 Also supporting someone who has made from his passion and talent his job just feels good. Thank you for the delicious food and you’ll see us tomorrow again 🙌🏻
