The tuna steak was delicious and the prawns were well flavoured. You could choose your dish at the front of the stall/site and then have it cooked to order which was cool! Overall the meal, including drinks, came to 9500Rs which for the size of the portions was great by British standards! I’m not sure how it compares to others on the beach as we visited on the way through to Galle. The fish displayed at the roadside varied in quality, so my top tip: look for the most glossy and glassy eyes. Anything with cloudy or slimy eyes should be avoided!

Basically the worst meal we had so far at Sri Lanka. Calamari was so smelly, not to say some other word, we didn’t even eat it, the dog who was around and we offered it to him, didn’t want it! Prawns were not fresh at all, and we got less than we ordered, but paid full price. fish was ok, but badly prepared, I would say it was fresh,but without any taste. We ate sea food all over the Sri Lanka, and it is the best sea food we tried in our lives. This experience was so disappointing. I do not usually leave bad comments, but this was a must! It was that bad

My partner and I were looking for fish restaurant to have dinner at and came across this gem! Table literally at the sea, amazing chicken and prawn curries also the only place in Weligamq we have found coconut sambal! Great place and we are definitely going back for the red snapper!!

Good restaurant, food is very delicious. We keep coming back to this restaurant not only because the food is delicious, but the staff is super friendly. I recommend this restaurant.
