We were there to attend a dance. Everything went well. It was a decent crowd but is a shame that more people don't attend. People definitely should check into obtaining a membership to take advantage of all that the Legion offers. Well worth the membership costs.

I am a new resident of Welland. Attended the Legion Saturday night, January 6 to listen to Lisa Klassen band. I sat down at a table by myself. Within a few moments another 4 people sat at the table I was occupying, and after a very brief introduction from one person and a very cool reception from female partner, they proceeded to ignore and exclude me the entire evening. If they had no intentions on being the tiniest bit hospitable, then why did they invite themselves to sit with me. Left a very bad impression with me. I will go again. I know all Welland residents are not like that. Well I have been back a few times and last night was great band and atmosphere however some very disrespectful and disgusting language was being used. I thought there Legion was supposed to be a place for reverence, respect and self control. I will never become a member because of this behavior being allowed.

Just attended a stag n doe- left because temps hit over 85 F. Staff said a/c was set for 68 but a/c was blowing HOT AIR from the only unit blowing. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! This couple was trying to make $ and everyone’s leaving from heat exhaustion. All doors had signs “keep doors closed, A/C is On” which is an indicator that this is a consistent Problem with this hall. The a/c units weren’t working, they froze up after an hour and only one blew hot air. Other ceiling/roof unit never worked at all. Unless they update the a/c - don’t waste your $ renting this hall out for any event. Also, the 1 bartender bought tickets while WORKING the event! And ended up winning a prize meant for people who paid to attend the event. She said she always wins at the stag n does she works. @legion- you need to put an end to that. Working the event is working the event. The prizes are meant for attendees who paid $10 to get into the event, and NOT staff being paid to work the bar.

Went to a euchre tournament at this branch. Well organized and a fun time. Came in 4th.

The fish fry dinner was great! Only suggestion is to create a better/longer space for those waiting in line away from the stage so the doorway isn't crowded upon entry.

Always love coming here for any event. Always super clean the kitchen is amazing. And the hall is gorgeous and fits a rather large crowd. Love that it has a stage!

This is a members only place. You must Have someone sign you in or get a membership. They have a ton of activities and live bands on Saturday nights. Bingo Saturday afternoons. Great place to host a wedding in their upstairs hall..

We went to see Grace Too, a Tragically Hip cover band. The sound wasn't the best, but the band was good.

Very much improved over the years. Excellent bartenders, Sarah and Lisa, great service and prices too. Wish they would carry reverse osmosis water bottles instead of mineral water. Outside renovations so far are great and Love the colors chosen for paint.

Great venue for large events, lots of parking and very clean inside. Staff at the bar were amazing. I was there for a trivia night event.
