The Fellowship has reopened end of September 2022 with a new management, new menu and new attitude! I love it! Friendly environment and nice atmosphere!! Tried the Sunday roast (beef and vegan options) and it was tasty and generous portion with good prices! I strongly recommend everyone to give them a try!

We went last Sunday for a roast, we had a vegan and a beef one and they were sooo good! The vegan one, I dare to say, is the best one I have had. So happy that the pub has reopened and the new management seems to have a great approach: good food, gigs and soon the cinema! Thank you, guys!

My wife and I moved to SE6 on the day this pub reopened and what a great treat this is for us all. Great food, service and vibe throughout. Henry's Cafe is also very cozy and enjoyable. Our new local that we are proud to bring our friends to.

Lovely local. Look out for entertainment nights, have some good drinks and reasonably priced pub grub. Visited again for Sunday roast lunch. Food was sumptuous very tasty and very filling. Friendly helpful staff. Football game was on and our party pay of six had a relaxing time. Only small criticism was the roasties we’re not crisp and the vegetarian nut roast was good but no other choice on the menu. We’ll be back for good family friendly, couple friendly, single person friendly, dog friendly, welcoming vibes.

Its back open after over 2 years being shut down because of covid, its come back with a bang, food, family oriented, local community pub, that was missed. There is a buzz about it and the cinema that's attached has also reopened. New year's party at the pub 2019, pre Covid, 80s night. Great time had by all.

So lucky to have this place in our neighborhood. The food is excellent, especially the Korean fried cauliflower, the beer is brilliant and I love that they're partnered with one of my favourite London breweries Anspach & Hobday to make a unique beer for the Bellingham Boxer Henry Cooper. I haven't attended a movie there yet but I'm looking forward to!

EDIT: PUB CLOSED DOWN IN 2023, for the second time since it's refurb. No other pubs in the area. ----------- This place used to be a charming dump but has been beautifully restored with the help of a lottery grant (I think). Decent beer, decent food, pictured is a Coopers Ale, which was lovely, light and caramel tasting, named after Henry Cooper who used to train above the pub. The Fellowship is a strange place, the clientele; lower to upper working class (I included myself as this) mainly from the huge council estate behind the pub, yet most of the staff appear to be ambiguous pronoun owners, an unlikely combination but everyone seems to get on. A relatively quiet place well worth a visit.

Hired the cinema for a kids party today. They watched a film then used the big screen for gaming. Also had use of an adjacent cafe area where they had a meal from the kids menu with ice cream and drinks. Staff were friendly and really helpful setting up and making sure we had everything we needed. Would 100% recommend

Great little local pub, very friendly staff which is always nice. The decor is nice and the drinks are reasonable. The food is probably the only thing I would say needs a slight improvement, but to be fair I've only eaten there once. The cinema was really cool, intimate and old school. Overall a really nice pub.

Loved my first unofficial (not on the job) visit to The Fellowship and Star. Great atmosphere, the wine options were not my favourite but I enjoyed my glass. My beer drinking friend, tea total friend, and two friends who can always find something to enjoy couldn’t fault what was on offer. The food, again a mixed blessing. One pal was a bit disappointed at the vegetarian offer, but tucked in enthusiastically, the rest of us were well chuffed. Service brilliant, atmosphere welcoming and inclusive. Brilliant.... looking forward to their exploration of how best to open up to the local community. Such positive vibes.

Was so excited for the Fellowship to reopen. It’s a great space and has enormous potential. Great selection of beers. Unfortunately the food was terrible. Dull and limited vegetarian options. The risotto was basically inedible. Will definitely go back for a pint but wouldn’t eat there again.

So happy to have this local back. We have eaten here several times now and have not been disappointed. The Sunday roast is so yummy and a good portion. The whole atmosphere is so much better and love that it’s dog friendly.

I like this pub, staffs are so polite and friendly. Toilets are clean and well maintained. Price wise foods and drinks are cheap but quality.

I had the pleasure of hosting my daughter's 6th birthday party at this pub/cinema, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The lady behind the bar went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. Her attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and willingness to accommodate our requests made the day truly special. The venue itself was perfect for the occasion, providing a comfortable and enjoyable space for both the kids and adults. The combination of the pub and cinema allowed us to have a great time with food, drinks, and entertainment all in one place. I would highly recommend this place for any event, and I'm truly grateful to the staff for making my daughter's birthday a memorable one.

This hall is a bit of a hidden gem at the moment so I'm tempted not to leave a review, incase it gets as popular as it deserves to be! From nice clean modern toilets to free local parking, it's an ideal venue. The stage was particularly useful for the children's birthday party I organised, but I'd almost definitely be hosting my next adult event there too. Our event was not catered by the venue, but I've eaten at the pub before. Communications can be a little slow, but otherwise great experience.

Good food and quick service. We were there for a lunch on a Saturday, which was quiet, so made it ideal for a quick food stop.

Great good. Absolutely delicious. Great manager who went over and above board to cater for my gluten intolerance.

A group of us had the festive menu last night, which was really tasty and excellent value. The staff were lovely and helpful, even moving our table for us so we got a better spot. Even the background music was great - The Smiths, Pulp and The Jam! Will definitely be returning.

After being closed for quite a while, the Fellowship has reopened and let me tell you: the area was in a dire need of a great Sunday roast option and it's now achieved! The roast was amazing and the place is busy! Try the Ham hock roast for 2, it's a delight!

It's so nice to have a decent pub within walking distance. The Fellowship is a real asset to the neighbourhood. There was a reasonable buzz when we popped by for Sunday lunch. Our roasts (beef and pork) looked promising though both meats were arguably overcooked and, disappointingly, served less than hot. The pork was a piece of fatty belly of pork which is not what one expects when ordering roast pork. The beef was tender and delicious. The accompaniments to the meat (veggies, potatoes, gravy etc) were all very flavoursome but all crammed onto an undersized plate which made them difficult to eat and fully appreciate. The advertised "spring greens" were noticeable by their complete absence. Servers and bar staff were pleasant enough but not particularly friendly or professional. Not once were we asked if we enjoyed our food or needed more drinks etc despite the pub being very quiet. As I said, it's great to have this place so close by. With a bit more effort and some training perhaps, it really could be so much better. I really wanted my visit and this review to be a 4 or 5 * one but alas, as things stand, it's a 3.

Beautiful, spacious wood paneled interior. Great range of local ales and craft beer and the pork roast was one of the best I’ve had (friends said the same of the vegan roast). Really good pub

Just been in after it’s reopened. Has a great vibe, very family/dog friendly which is the best sign in a pub. Great drinks selection & has a lovely looking menu(will try soon). Best of luck in the new opening!

Hired out "The Space" for my mums 70th Birthday. Felt compelled to leave a review as the service was that good. The staff were so helpful. Our Barmen were lovely the security were pleasant & respectful and the manager was brilliant... even putting together a piece of kit that I had purchased when I couldn't follow the instructions. The food was great too. I would definitely recommend this place. Keep up the good work.

Great family pub. Lovely local staff, food was decent, marginally over priced by a Bob or two and it came out room temp. Wouldn't mind a quick blitz in the microwave without my knowing. Also has a lovely local cinema which is super cute. Overall great local vibes.

Absolutely love this place, especially the cinema..spacious with a good tilt angle to avoid heads blocking view. I've not tried the restaurant as such, yet...but I have heard really good things about it. It has really made a good contribution to a community spirited neighbourhood.

The best pub Sunday Roast ever! The beef, red cabbage, gravy and even carrots and cabbage were amazing. My partner's pork and stuffing was also fantastic and the cider apple sauce was the Uckfield on the cake. Really friendly and laid back staff too. Would highly recommend. Xxx

Visited on August bank holiday. Tables were reservation only and there were lots of signs that said remain seated because of Covid and order using the app but because they were short staffed drinks had to be ordered at the bar. Not great for social distancing. Hand sanitiser stations were available. Spicy wings and Ribeye steak were excellent.
