It's
so
nice
to
have
a
decent
pub
within
walking
distance.
The
Fellowship
is
a
real
asset
to
the
neighbourhood.
There
was
a
reasonable
buzz
when
we
popped
by
for
Sunday
lunch.
Our
roasts
(beef
and
pork)
looked
promising
though
both
meats
were
arguably
overcooked
and,
disappointingly,
served
less
than
hot.
The
pork
was
a
piece
of
fatty
belly
of
pork
which
is
not
what
one
expects
when
ordering
roast
pork.
The
beef
was
tender
and
delicious.
The
accompaniments
to
the
meat
(veggies,
potatoes,
gravy
etc)
were
all
very
flavoursome
but
all
crammed
onto
an
undersized
plate
which
made
them
difficult
to
eat
and
fully
appreciate.
The
advertised
"spring
greens"
were
noticeable
by
their
complete
absence.
Servers
and
bar
staff
were
pleasant
enough
but
not
particularly
friendly
or
professional.
Not
once
were
we
asked
if
we
enjoyed
our
food
or
needed
more
drinks
etc
despite
the
pub
being
very
quiet.
As
I
said,
it's
great
to
have
this
place
so
close
by.
With
a
bit
more
effort
and
some
training
perhaps,
it
really
could
be
so
much
better.
I
really
wanted
my
visit
and
this
review
to
be
a
4
or
5
*
one
but
alas,
as
things
stand,
it's
a
3.
