I'm
an
American
tourist
and
if
I
could
I
would
go
to
every
road,
every
street,
every
town,
every
museum,
and
every
spot
in
all
of
Israel.
And
I
never
regret
it.
The
signs
here
enlightened
me
to
part
of
the
war
I
did
not
know.
And
throughout
Israel
I
see
each
group
of
Israelis
in
1948
doing
its
share,
more
than
its
share,
to
bring
victory,
even
though
vastly
outnumbered.
While
it
would
be
nice
if
every
historic
place
were
very
well
maintained,
that's
difficult
and
it
doesn't
lessen
things
for
me,
as
long
as
the
signs
are
in
English
as
well
as
Hebrew,
or
the
phone
tells
me
what
happened,
or
I
can
look
it
up
when
I
get
back
to
my
room.
Plus
here
as
I
recall
the
big
problem
in
2018
was
ruts
between
the
parking
lot
and
the
monument,
from
buses,
made
when
the
ground
was
wet
after
heavy
rain.
It's
not
worth
wasting
a
lot
of
water
to
make
the
ground
so
wet
and
then
trying
to
roll
the
ground
flat
again.
The
ruts
will
go
away
with
time,
I
think.

BTW,
my
android
phone
made
me
sign
up
with
gmail
and
all
the
normal
names
were
taken.
That's
not
my
real
name.

BTW2,
What
does
Hbamon
mean?
How
is
it
spelled
in
Hebrew?
in
proper
English?
Google
has
no
other
reference
to
the
word.

I
asked
elsewhere
and
it
should
be
HaPa'amon,
the
*Bell*
Outpost.
