I absolutely love this place. 6th time here, and my god not a fault in this meal. So perfect. Came at around 7:30pm so it was a bit quieter which i do recommend, and got their steak. Beautifully cooked, and the house wine was absolutely fantastic.

Brilliant restaurant, great service, super-friendly staff and lovely food. We go regularly and we’ve never had a bad meal or experience. The staff have a brilliant rapport with each other which is so nice to see. We go most weeks and will continue to do so!! 👍

Mid week visit for lunch. Ate from the two course offer. Shared pizza/pasta with my friend. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Staff were incredible, it was a very quiet Wednesday night so staff were super attentive and lovely as we were quite a big group. Food was beyond amazing everyone really enjoyed it would highly reccomend the half pasta half pizza, desserts looked delicious too. 10/10 would go again

Good happy hour deal. The wait staff were lovely and friendly and the pizzas were yummy. It was quiet and wasn't much of an atmosphere but that's because it was a Tuesday night. Would definitely return :)

Went for a dinner date here. Food was okay, nothing amazing. However, the service was terrible. Did not feel welcomed at all. The place was half empty and the service took ages. When I was finishing my meal I found a light brown eyelash in my pasta. I wasn’t going to say anything as I don’t really cares but thought I should anyways. When I did the waitress said ‘“ could it be yours?” . I was very confused cause I have jet black hair and I was wearing black mascara so you would have definitely been able to tell if it was mine. I wasn’t looking for any compensation as I finished the meal and wasn’t bothered just wanted them to acknowledge it. They completely ignored it and when they would open the kitchen door you could see that the chefs weren’t wearing hair nets so be cautious eating your pasta. No apology. Quite a disappointing experience.

The food at La Famiglia is absolutely excellent. They often have fish and seafood specials which are tremendous. Their Sunday roasts are also fabulous and only around £10 each. I have to recommend the Chicken Skewers and Seafood Sharing Platter, as well as the Caprese Salad (my fiancee is a strict vegetarian). NEVER had a reason to complain about anything I've had here in over 4 years of attending this super-friendly restaurant. And they do have WiFi for device-obsessed patrons, but the password is "Talk2eachother" as they're trying (and succeeding) in promoting a great, chatty, quiet music, friendly and welcoming eating place. Well done to Rob and the rest of the staff. One of my top 5 eateries in Newcastle.
