Being active duty military, I came here while on leave on the recommendation that the food and environment were great. This, however, was not my experience at all. First we were greeted by staff who weren’t wearing masks or taking proper care against Covid-19. Second, we were charged a $10 cover/person, even though this was not posted anywhere on the building that after 9pm it goes from being a sports bar to a night club. After paying, they said they don’t serve food at a Sports Bar and Grill, so we tried to get a refund for the cover and leave. They said they don’t do this, so I asked to speak to a manager. After basically every single bartender, waiter, and security personnel had said they were a manager and won’t do anything, even though we hadn’t ordered food, drinks etc, and were in there trying to get a refund, nothing happened. The whole time we were berated and told essentially we should’ve known better. Never in my life have I been so disrespected as a customer in a service-based establishment and I will never be returning. For a business that seems to never really have customers, I would think they would care more about their interactions between customers and staff. This place relied too much on being a scam, and if I could leave a 0 star review I would.

Came on $5 burger night, table for 2. Sat on the patio and the bartender came out to be our server. When I asked what was on tap she didn't know what that meant but she also wasn't motivated to get me a drink menu. After tracking one down from another table we ordered beers, one of was the wrong beer but she fixed it quickly. Ordered 2 specialty burgers with fries, took 25 min to get the food and neither of us got the right burger! Server never came back to check on the food. Fries were fine, but under seasoned. Don't know which burgers we got but they were just okay. Had to go track down the server for the check and got just a half hearted apology for giving us the wrong food. Not worth it!

Used 2 be 5star. My fav place n the world. But this food is def not what it used to be. Their sweet pepper bacon is not what it used to be. So sad too. I was so excited to have $ to go get my fav lunch and this is what i got. Now the bartender was a beautiful and very nice young lady and the place was very nice and clean. My rating is purely based on my food experience. My fries were also covered in salt. Now I luv salt, but this is ... wow. Idk what to say, it almost felt personal because who would do this?? Oh my, lol im still thirsty a week later. I really hope it was just a bad day for this restaurant, because it used to be THE BEST...

If I could give them a half of a star or no stars I would worst food ever my chicken wings were still bleeding the hero nachos didn’t come as advertised they came with just cheese and and meat and my Ranch Hand Burger was just a normal burger not wat I ordered

Just at the center of wichita down town very well located. Amazing entertaiment spot with good music and all types of drinks. Beers to the best selection of cocktails. The real heros of wichita.

Very ghetto. Would not recommend. And they managed to run off the one steady employee who not only had the place opening on time but served, cleaned and even cooked. Her tenacity and love of job reflected well. My office is located downtown and I observed the ethic behind the pleasant countenance. Whether is was picking up trash from the outside to keeping a bar neat and clean, You would Want the owners to contemplate what a gem they had and hire more people with that kind of drive. And where the owners were starting to put in more love and care into their business is now leading to total and abject failure. The guise of Covid restrictions will be merely an illusion. Such a tragedy. But I will say this, I’ve never seen better owner/manager run a business so well ….. into the ground. It will be a cold day in hell when the proprietors of the establishment come to the realization their chance of turning the business around and having a surplus is gone. When you have subpar help, the business suffers

Went in to eat lunch with my family. It is a great place. But music is to loud, the wait was so long, the waiters was hitting on my husband and my dad. Happy that she paid for my daughter food but not happy that they mixed us my order with my parents order. Got charged for there order and they got charged for ours. We did not leave a tip and the waiters said to us why did u not Leave me a tip. Started to get mad at us for it. Here's a tip for u don't over cook the food and listen to when ur customers are ordering there food and what they really would like and not what you think they would like. The soda was not even good either. I really think they need a manager there at all time since they can't do nothing right and get onto ur customers for not leaving a tip and stuff saying u only get paid 2 dollar's a hour. What kind of job only pays 2 dollar's a hour. The food smelled really bad. Would of not given it any stars but I just wanted every one to know how bad this place is

The burgers are ok out of 4 burgers ordered in our group they were all a little dry from overcooking, not a lot of people there and the service was really slow. The bacon cheesecake was different and good! There are a lot better burger places in Wichita

I am in town once a year and I make sure to get their sweet pepper bacon. Probably won't again. It's nothing like it used to be. Still good, but not worth the stop any longer. Guys... Go back to the old bacon. This is just meh

I don’t know what happened to this place, but last weekend I went back to Wichita to visit my daughter and my wife and I were staying in old town. We wanted to watch the Oral Roberts NCAA game so naturally I said “let’s go to Heroes, it’s a great sports bar” So we walked down.... entered.... and the place was empty. Not 5 or 10 people empty, We were the ONLY people there.... now, this is at dinner time during a sweet 16 basketball game, ant the place is completely empty. So we were met by the bartender, who was absolutely nice. She told us that the Keg beer wasn’t working and it was $5 special night. My wife got a vodka concoction that they serve, and I got a bottle of beer. At my surprise, the $5 special also meant that a single bottle of beer was also $5! 🤦‍♂️ So to make this even more weird, they have like 20 TVs in there and the game wasn’t even on a single one of them🤷🏻‍♂️ My wife didn’t finish the drink she ordered because she didn’t like it at all, I drank my $5 bottle and we bolted and went a little farther to Emerson Biggins ( which was packed) and had the game on, and a round for us cost $6.............now I will say that the staff at Heroes were super friendly and this in no way is their fault. But what happened to this place? I used to frequent when I lived in Wichita and wanted to introduce my wife to one of the cool sports bars in town. Sad. Hope they figure it out.

Drinks are decently priced. Atmosphere was fun. Bathrooms were disgusting though, and they closed before 2 am which I wasn't expecting. Overall I had a fun time.

Tiffany was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. We ordered 2 orders of hot wings and some fries. I requested flats only and was accommodated which rarely happens when I ask for this. The wings were great and the fries were yummy. We hadn’t been in for several years but will definitely go back.

The bartender was very nice and attentive to my family as she was also the server for our table but the food was very low quality, albeit very cheap so do with that what you will. I wouldn't go again but if you needed a place to watch the game they have plenty of TVs. Maybe try to find a Buffalo Wild Wings first though.
