Came in and waited 10 minutes for someone to come up to use. Many servers walked by and even looked at us. If it was busy I would understand, but it was not at ALL. This place has gone downhill so much since new management took over. We used to love AJ’s pizza. Used to be best pizza in town and the past few times we have been service/food has been awful. Will not be coming again.

Pizza was great but service was horrendous. Had food before the napkin and silverware. Needed refills and waited for 10 minutes before proceeding to front with my glasses. Tried to hand the cups to waitress and she said she would take care of it at table. Walked back and waited another 5 minutes before tea was refilled. After we were done eating for 10 minutes, she checked in and asked if we needed a box. She went and got it but did not bring the check. Instead we watched her and other waitresses attempt to throw items into the mouth of a customer at the end of the bar. Another 10 minutes and check in hand. Carry out only for me in the future.

Not enough help, staff was nice and polite but just not enough. Long line to get a drink. The Bar area was dirty. It was 6;00 so not late. Over all not worth the stop.

This place has gone down hill tremendously. It was way better when it was AJs. Smaller portion for a higher price. Wait staff can be very slow. Good note is they are never busy now since they suck.

Huge shout out to the server, Jennika (sp?), who helped us track down my son’s retainers hours after he mistakenly left them in a napkin on our table. She went above and beyond her job, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I wish she would’ve let us tip her more, she more than deserved it after what she went through to help us. Not only was the food great, but we were so impressed with the service. If you’re her boss, you’ve got a good one and she deserves a raise.

1 star is being nice. I don’t know what happened but AJs has fell off. I just sent 53 bucks on 3 burnt, unseasoned, dry as hell chicken tender dinners. The fries were cold. I also ordered fried pickles that were cold and unseasoned. They didn’t close the ranch so it spilled every where. I ordered a cranberry juice and thank God he gave that to me because it tasted as if it had been sitting in a cup of ice all day. Very disappointed in AJs or Northrock Bar and Grill.

The service here sucks! The wait staff is more interested in gossiping in the kitchen area than helping patrons. They aren’t paying attention to anyone coming or going, let alone if you need a refill. Used to enjoy coming here, but after the last 3 trips of bad service, we won’t be back.

It's in the front of a bowling alley but it is sound proofed , it has a variety, both in beer and food. The prices aren't bad and the service is tolerable . You will see kids in this establishment. Parking is free and semi close. .

For almost 30 years this has been one of my favorite local establishments. Really good daily specials. The food has always been consistently good. The atmosphere is upbeat and the service has always been good. Heres to another 30. Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoy playing the dragon game they have, however the last 2 times we have gone and played a few of the regular have harassed us and belittled us and made it extremely uncomfortable. When we went to the bartender/manager she would not help us due to them being her regulars and not wanting to mess up her tips. I would like to have a meeting with the owner of the bar to explain how horrible of an experience this was and hope for change.

Gave it a try tonight for the second time since ownership changed hoping that it worked out all its kinks. Ajs used to be my favorite pizza without a doubt, but not anymore. Barely any toppings even with asking for extra cheese there was hardly any, and I would hate to see what regular cheese would be like. different crust and bland flavor. So disappointed but I won’t be returning.

If you are on a keto diet, just know that you don't have to live without pizza. AJs have a cheese crust and you can add any toppings that you would like. Plus it is very good and tasty.

Very clean and friendly staff. Had a mini pizza and a Blue Moon. Pizza was fair at best. My order was wrong but didn't even bother to send it back Left minus 15 bucks in my pocket, still hungry and in search of another beer :( My FFL needs to new place for Pre-Draft meetings.

The Fried Pickles were quite nice, perfectly fried, had a pleasant, light crunch and were seasoned well. The bartender makes a good Old Fashioned, a nice strong drink. I also sampled a Lemon Drop shot which was dangerously smooth. The service was top notch, very friendly and attentive.

Trivia on Tuesday nights is a great way to get people in the door. Ordered the wings and they were overcooked. The waiter we had (whose name I unfortunately do not remember) did a good job though. Will be back but will probably stay away from the wings.

AJ's has typically been a great spot for pizza and bar food. We started with fried pickles and the garlic bread. The sauce was good, but the garlic toast was dense and tasteless. The bread was cut far too thick and seemed lazy in the approach. The fried pickles, thankfully, were appropriately crispy and well seasoned. Finally, the kiddo ordered a cookie and it was underwhelming. It was a tad over cooked and needed some ice cream or something to balance the flavors. Luckily, the pizza remains food and the beer specials make it worthy of a return.

The pizza is always good but the service is horrible. Waited an hour for the appetizer, couldn’t get drinks refilled. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.

Food is ok, would probably be better if we didn’t wait 45 minutes for it. We were 4 (2 adults 2 kids) of the 8 people in the restaurant. Other tables were there half the time we were and got drinks and food before we did. at one point we were the only people in here. After the wait the waitress approached the table and said they were out of a food item we ordered. Like you didn’t know that 45 minutes ago? This place is an absolute joke.

Used to be good - but now one of the worst restaurants in town. Clueless staff, horrible pizza’s (once one of their best products) - but good news… one less cockroach should you decide to ignore my review…. Friend of mine killed it on the floor beside our table (no joke). Carcass probably still flattened on the floor should you care to test the genuiness of my story. Prediction - this place is not for long in this town - so should you feel nostalgic, or desperate for a bite to eat/ drink… better hurry….

We had not ordered pizza from them since before Covid. The reason is that the pizza was barely warm and the crust was soggythe last time we ordered. Decided to give them another try yesterday. Same results. I even arrived five minutes prior to the time given me when I ordered. Do they not put the extra piece of cardboard in the bottom anymore so the steam can escape rather than just laying on the bottom of the box?
