👍👍 Once again, we have discovered a homely burger joint. The staff was nice and friendly to converse with. The cheeseburger and fires were delicious. I had BBQ cheeseburger. The sauce was spot on, with the burger being cooked proper. We definitely look to return and try the rest of the menu. People often mention good, burger, time, cooked, burgers, fries, cheeseburger,

Food is fairly quick, delicious and a lot for the money. The burgers are large. I just had a basic cheeseburger and fries today. The burger is large, filling the whole bun, and smothered in grilled onions, pickles, mustard and cheese. Very tasty.

Service is good here. They were not busy when I came in around 1. It was quick to get my order. I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger combo to go. Had a 15 min drive back to work to eat. Burger and fries were still hot when I sat to eat. Flavor of the burger was good, but still a little dry. The fries I had a couple of bites they were hard, not really crispy and in a world of other restaurants not too appetizing. I would go back for the burger.

This was my first time and my last time here. First off you had 3 workers back in the back where they are cooking, earing and licking their fingers. I explained to the worker that I didn't want them to be around my food because that was unsanitary. Then he delivers the message. We ordered lettuce and tomato on our burger(it cost extra). I always check my food, and there were no tomatoes on the burgers. They sat they argued with us that they put tomato on the burger. We showed them the food but I guess that wasn't good enough because they refused to rectify the situation. I expect to get what I paid for. Then when I just told the worker, I will just go ahead and do the review, he got smart and said Noone cares. The food is most definitely not good enough to have horrible customer service. I would have let al that slide, had I not tasted the food and it had no flavor. You have to pick a struggle. You can't have bad food and customer service. Sorry, I will never return. I will stick to Southeast Carryout

Delicious cheeseburger homemade best burgers in Wichita. Pickles, grilled onions, cheese and mustard high quality bun. Nice employees don’t waste your money on fast food, burgers or so-called high-end burgers. You won’t find a better tasting burger anywhere else in Wichita.

This place makes a great burger! Decent fries. For me it is the chili cheese burger that gets me every time! The perfectly cooked burgers, the right about of cheese, buns that are not over sized, and chili that Texas would claim! I could plan on one of these every Friday and look forward to it each and every Friday! This location is no joke. 3rd location for Calvin, same griddle from the first location. Seasoned to perfection!

Went in for lunch and it did not disappoint! The friendly staff stood out the most. Told them it was our first time and took the time and explained everything to us and we felt like she really cared about us having a good experience. The burgers tasted like they were home cooked. Super good. The onion rings were worth the upgrade ($1). I did get mine Mexican style. Which they add guac, onions, and jalapeños to it. So tasty with the double hamburger combo. You must go visit! I will be going back again to try a different item!

I had just spent my lunch at Calvin's this afternoon and I must say I was impressed with the quality of food and service. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I will most certainly be dining there again. I would recommend this over the other fast food restaurants in the area.

Calvin's Hamburger Haven, has kept the same name from the Original owner. This business has been around for over fifty years. Pictures of the Original business is on the wall. The exact same moto and businesses etiquette has remained the same. Having spoken with the new owner I was assured that through out time it will remain always the same even when they sale the business. Calvin Hamburger Haven is not a franchise. You must go and discover true down home cooking with customer service that the business has always had. Truly recommend.

First time I had been there. The staff were friendly, helpful, and fun. Was more like the places I ate when I was a kid. You could tell it is a favorite of those who came in. The food was just like going back in time when hamburgers were cooked on a grill, buns also toasted on the grill. Fries were thick cut, delicious crispy. Will be going back.

Small local diner where you can get a proper hamburger. I had the double bacon cheeseburger, which was nicely done. Maybe seemed slightly heavy on the grease but slid down easily. Fries were definitely better than average in my opinion, a touch larger than an average fry. Also not a huge amount of seating available, but the wait wasn't long and the place was fairly quiet. Overall not at all bad place to stop for good food. Would stop again if in the area.

I got the bacon cheeseburger meal. It was really good and simple. It was a good burger!!! I liked the fries, could have been cooked a little longer for my taste but I like my fries extra crispy. The lady at the counter was nice and polite. The food was out in good time. The building is an old Nu-way. Could use maybe a little updating but not a bad place. Overall, it's really good. Nice locally owned burger joint. Way Better than that big corporate place acrossed the street!! Keep up the good work. I'll go back!!

Found this place while on vacation, I was trying to find something different than your average run-of-the-mill chain restaurant (i.e., McDonald’s, Taco Bell, etc.) saw that it had really good reviews, so decided to seek it out. When you first arrive, the actual restaurant is in roached upon by other restaurants, including three pizza parlors, and it’s in a corner spot, and at first glance, it looks kind of rough, but this is a scenario where you don’t judge a book by its cover When we entered, we were greeted by the most friendliest staff you could ever meet, and our order was accurate and correct no mistakes. The food itself, which was the double cheeseburger combo was large proportions, but was delicious, the burger was cooked perfectly, and the french fries and tater tots or amazing, the gentleman who I am, assuming was the owner checked on us to make sure we were OK at least twice, and even came and took our plates for us. Definitely recommend anytime you’re in the Wichita area very much worth going to

The spicy buffalo chicken sandwich was really good. However the deal for the day was around $8 for the sandwich, a drink, and fries. I did one meal for myself and my partner ordered a sandwich and a water. They totaled it up without telling us in advance that the water cup alone costs $1.50. The total of the sandwich and water cup alone was less than 80 cents difference in price than the deal of the day meal. It would have been nice to know because the deal for the day would have been a way better option money wise.

This was our first time to eat here and we will be back for sure!!! The hamburgers were delicious. The buns were toasted, the grilled onions were perfect, the bacon crispy, and the burger was cooked even better than homemade. My husband enjoyed his fried okra. The person who took our order was friendly and helpful. Only four stars simply because the onion rings were sparse and bland and the building was warm and humid. But, this did not ruin our experience in any way. Recommend this place for sure!

The food was good and cooked properly, the service was as good as you'd expect. The atmosphere was a bit off for me but I'm fairly picky about stuff like that. Good food and great prices, spent 30 bucks on a dinner for 3

AWESOME PLACE. The staff is really nice, prices are fair and honestly it's one of my favorite burgers in town. Menu is simple but good. Made fresh so it takes a little time but not too bad. Highly recommend!
