I took a friends suggestion and tried Felipes. Very good recommendation. In my exciement I forgot to orger my burrito with rice instead of beans. Very beautiful environment.

This is a really solid Mexican restaurant with a huge menu and friendly service. Their chips and salsa are great, and come with two different kinds of salsa. The combination plate I got was massive and everything was delicious. It would take a special kind of human to be able to finish all that food! Our server was very friendly and personable and our food came out quickly.

Food was fresh & hot. Frozen margaritas were exceptional. Our server was excellent. Had to wait a little longer than normal, but I'm very willing to give them leeway considering the across the board staff shortages.

Food always great! Service was nonexistent. Never received an actual waitress. Had to wait 15mins before being able to order our drinks. Will continue to order take out, not dine- in.

Food was meh. Margaritas were large. Service was okay. They told me the pork chili verde on the huevos rancheros was supposed to be red, so they either don't know Mexican food or they have mediocre service or both.

I ate here regularly when I lived in Augusta, and now that I've moved away, it's a must-visit whenever I'm in town. The food is always top-tier and the service is always friendly and helpful. They are always accommodating when I visit with my elderly grandpa!

We have taken our out of town family from Arizona and New Mexico and friends always there.. We frequent this restaurant a few times a year and it never disappoints. Great food, good service, and good prices. I would recommend anyone to try it.

Felipe's suffers from the same mistakes other Kansan Mexican restaurants suffer. Kansas people are pussies that can't eat spicy food. Hence, don't expect good Mexican food.

I ate here yesterday evening, and it was a top class act from start to finish. After I left, I realized I’ve been eating here on and off for 30 years and the it is consistently good and with Martin‘s family of Jose, Maribel and Victor running things it will obviously stay top class.

Food was average for this type of restaurant. Drinks were way too strong, they didn't even taste good.

i absolutely LOVE Felipe's Jr! when I'm craving Mexican food, they're the first that comes to mind, it takes a bit of thinking to even come up with any others. I've been going there my whole life & have never had a bad experience, I highly recommend them to any & everyone.

The Martinez family has consistently provided great Mexican food to East Wichita for over 30 year. This is a safe bet to deliver a good experience.

The service was good, we had a really big group but I think they did well given the size of the group, had to tell the waitress twice about something but still very nice and food was good.

It's a very delicious place to eat. Service was great, atmosphere is relaxing. Prices are a bit high but that's happened everywhere. Still worth the try though. I highly recommend!! 👍👍

Good was great. Only got one bowl of chips with salsa. Ordered queso and got no more chips. We got no refills on drinks. Good tasted great. Everyone was friendly, but not as attentive as I would have liked.

Great food and service. Beware of the Flaming Consuela, or she will get you, if you try and tackle her alone! The next morning she will haunt you as the Screaming Consuela!! But really, take a friend and give it a try.

The food wasn't too terrible, they could improve on the use of seasoning and spices, but overall great atmosphere; And a good place to grab a bite.

My first time dining here. Kind, speedy service and a beautiful dining room. Had the flour taco and burrito lunch item and boy was I disappointed. Soggy barely seasoned ground beef that tastes as if Nuway got into tex mex. Likely won't return. East Harry location.

Felipe’s Jr. has been our go to place for more than 25 years! The food is awesome, and locally owned by the wonderful Martinez family whom we have come to know and love over the years. Margaritas are excellent and we call it our “Cheers” because everybody knows your name. Long time customers have all become friends, too. It’s just the best! I highly recommend!!

Food was amazing! It has been a while since I have been here. It did not disappoint food came out hot and fresh. Enjoyed a strawberry daiquiri that was very refreshing. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

I love this place! It's my favorite Mexican restaurant in Wichita. Their Espinaca dip with chorizo added, and their Barbacoa tacos are delicious and amazing. In the 7 years (so far) I've been coming here, I've never been disappointed.

Once again the food and service was excellent. We took long time friends who just moved to the Wichita area and they were impressed (they moved from California so there's that) Luckily, they live just blocks away from Felipes on Harry and Webb so they will be going there alot now. We took home left overs that were still great tasting 2 days later. They really care about making sure that everything is right. This is probably one of the top Mexican restaurant destinations in the area.

For a $17.00 beef fajita dinner the portions were way to small. I went there because I was hungry not to dine out for show!!! Come on Felipe’s Jr Don’t start cheating your customers. I will be going back and ordering the beef fajitas and if they’re still skimping I will speak with Management. 45 years no problem all of a sudden past 6 months sucks

Just left had their chimmis... they were pretty good for the most part, definitely go with the steak. Their "salsa" tastes like cheap pizza sauce out of an aluminum can... they werent busy but somehow I was waiting on drinks till the sweet lady hostess noticed my drink empty twice. Over all id say it was decent but there are incredibly better Mexican places here in Wichita for the same dough.

Service was good. The food was decent it came out hot and cooked great butcpuld have used more seasonings. The salsa comes in 2 bowls 1 mild and 1 "hot" the mild taste like tomatoes an the hot has a little kick but it's mild to me. The Guacamole was good but needed salt to really bring the flavors out. I would go again.
