This is a great place to support local and get a classic breakfast! I tried the #2, added gravy and a single hotcake. The service is a little slower, but the food is delicious. The bacon was perfectly crispy and the pancake was just the right amount of sugary. Expect a short wait upon arrival, as the the place is busy and small! They offer table, booth and counter seating.

I love breakfast here. I'm a simple person when it comes to breakfast but I still want a filling meal to fight the day with. My favorite being a biscuit with gravy and a simple ham and cheese omelet. The cinnamon rolls here are beyond your imagination so if you can handle it you won't regret it. You'll fight the workday bear in the office or the field with no excuses.

Previous review said no restroom, not true, just not PUBLIC restroom. Got here around 7 am and for sure, this is where the locals go. Like Cheers, everyone knew everyone’s name. I almost expected to hear, “Norm!”. Service was on point. Never saw the empty bottom of my coffee cup. Chicken omelet was good and hot, tiny cinnamon roll that came with meal was nice touch. Lord of breakfast takeout going out the door while I was there. Highly recommend. Diner hours are 7 am - 2 pm.

This was my husband and I first time eating there and it won't be our last! Everything was great but it was a little chilly in the dining room. Noticed a lot of people wearing jackets that must of been regular customers! Will be coming back!

I ordered two breakfast burritos over the phone, pleasant easy to order and could understand the person very well. I got there in ten minutes of ordering and it was ready and fresh. Open window to the kitchen small eating area not crowded just quaint. I took my order to go. The salsa is delicious. The burrito is a great deal it's delicious and good size for $8 I'll be back to try other items thank you all.

So I ordered Eggs Benedict. Eggs were cooked great but they use regular thick ham instead of Canadian Bacon and their hollandaise sauce was a thick cheese sauce and there was so much of it, it completely covered the eggs and half the hash browns. I scraped off probably 5 tbs and left on side of plate. I normally like this place but not today! Very disappointed 😞 wait staff is normally great but today never got asked for a refill on my coffee and never got my ticket, finally went up and just paid.

It was not crowded, seat yourself, with plenty of available tables. The waitress acknowledged is saying she be right with us as we say down in a booth. She brought 2 menus and took our drink order. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and the coffee, strong. I'm definitely coming back!

The food really wasn’t all that. Our waitress wasn’t very good either. She kept looking at my boyfriend like he was stupid while he was ordering, it was unmistakable. The atmosphere would’ve been very homey and nice had the waitress not treated my bf as she did.

The food here is wonderful. The service here sucks. I waited over 45 minutes to get a refill on my Dr Pepper. I left this place with cold food because they refused to give me a refill. I talked to Melissa, and she supported the lack of service I received from her establishment. Obviously, this is a place that blatantly doesn't care about their customers. I highly recommend never stepping foot inside this establishment.

the grilled cheese sandwich was not good at all, it was burnt and all i could taste was the burnt butter. The orange juice was okay but not fresh. the eggs were good and the gravy tasted nice. The server was very nice and that’s why I gave this place 3 stars, i’d go another time to try other things cause maybe the things that we ordered weren’t specialty dishes.

Good breakfast offerings. I ordered one of the specials with a generous portion of eggs, ham, biscuit, etc. served. Good peaceful atmosphere. Service by wait staff top-notch.

The food was a good price and super speedy.... there was a mix up with one of our orders, but was promptly corrected. Will definitely come again when in Wichita.

Always love this place. The wife and I have been coming here for years and always love there food. Chicken fry steak in the morning or lunch is one of my favorites. The omelettes are also pretty decent along with the rest of the menu.

Livingston's Cafe is (and has been) an excellent place to eat for many years in Wichita. If I were asked what is the best aspect of eating at Livingston's, I'd say that there are at least three. It's a toss-up between great food, service and value! I've eaten here for several decades, although the name used to be Jeannie's Dinner. The food has always been delicious with all of the best aspects of both a home-town ambience and people who really care about service and quality! Today, my wife and I ate breakfast at Livingston's at about 9:15. The service was quick and everything about our order was correct. I had their Bob's Breakfast skillet and my wife had two eggs with sausage plus French toast. Everything was like "baby bear's porridge"...just right! Our server, Claire, was friendly and very attentive...she took care of everything we needed from multiple refills of hot coffee to take-home containers at the end! You can find fancier, more expensive places to have breakfast, but you won't do better than Livingston's Cafe!

The food was good but the service wasn't the best. Two people brought us drinks and one seemed a little frustrated that we asked for a second choice when she came back. Then a 3rd person came over like 5/10 minutes later to take our order and didn't even introduce herself, she kinda just stood there and then said, you guys ready to order? Then I waited another 10 minutes to try to get more coffee and we had to flag someone down and ask for more.. we are just visiting and as much as I would recommend the food, the service sucked.

We visit Livingston's frequently they notice when I pull up and they already have my coffee on the table on. My favorite table service is always friendly and efficient food is always excellent nice down home. Diner bill just a good old local restaurant.

Absolutely love their food! Would recommend to anyone. Only reason for the low atmosphere rating is because some of the customers were loudly making transphobic comments a few tables over. This isn't a problem with the Diner, but some of the customer base. Not shocking for Kansas, though.

The amazing people, who work there, treat you like your their best friend. If I lived in Wichita, I would eat there everyday. Every detail was spot on. Love this place and I'm so glad my brother took me there! See you all next week...

If you drink your coffee black, and order a side of toast w/breakfast this place is for you! It may be a bit pricey for that caliber of breakfast but it’s still fair. The atmosphere is laid back enough, and the music isn’t too loud. Once I factor in the quality of the food(I got the Bob’s skillet) I give Livingston’s Cafe 6.5/10.

Great little cafe with down home meals and a wonderful waitstaff. My breakfast tasted just like my Dad's cooking. You won't be disappointed eating here. I'll definitely be coming back.

Great coffee , great food! My daughter says best OJ she ever had. They had fast efficient wait staff that made you feel welcome and confident you would have great experience from the start. Mel's Diner type place for anyone old enough to remember that. We were early for a Dr. Appt. that morning so decided to grab breakfast.

We came in last minute for a quick biscuit and gravy while running errands. Never knew this family owned breakfast place was there. Home cooking. Excellent. Can’t wait to come back for a full meal and to try the deserts! Friendly staff. Hidden ICT gem

Wish I'd found this treasure years ago. Comfort food menu. Very good food at extremely fair prices. Cordial service. Pleasant spotless dining room. Meals attractively plated with good-sized portions. A lovely family-owned business run by nice folks who know exactly what they're doing.

Typical corner type of diner. Great homemade pie. Rest was okay food but exceptional service.
