Stopped by Bean House for a friend’s birthday, wasn’t expecting too much when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised by the cute and cozy aesthetic and the incredibly friendly service! We settled on iron goddess kung fu style tea some bean cakes. We received both the assorted as well as just the red lentil variety. The tea was super soothing, we felt as though we could keep drinking it forever! The bean cakes were delicious, not too sweet, but went extremely well with the tea. They also do not use preservatives in the been cakes and they are also vegan! Overall, a hidden gem! We will definitely be back here again.

Amazing place. We went on a whim this afternoon and had a great experience in the cozy cafe. The bean cakes are fresh, healthy and gluten free!! Ella is so friendly and knowledgeable about traditional Chinese sweets. Definitely try the ice teas with an assortment of their hand-made cakes when you go. It's a wonderful treat.

I came across Bean House while searching for a nut free Moon cake (which is not common). I have a nut allergy which makes it difficult to eat any moon cakes in shops. When I entered the store my girlfriend and I were greeted by the friendly workers. They have a cozy and relaxing environment. The owner let us sample different moon cakes since it was our first time there. The soup they serve was delicious and flavourful. We got the chance try the mung bean and red bean dessert bars and they were good. Different from your traditional ice cream bars but much more natural and healthier. The moon cakes in general are very smooth, not dry, flavourful and the design is well made. A great gift for yourself or someone you know. Very professional staff and service! Highly recommend if you're in the area or take a drive to this place to have a light lunch and hang out.

Such a nice surprise! Came across this place while looking for coffee. They sell iced tea, coffees and mung bean cake! I think I saw other items on the menu like sandwiches. Super excited to come back. I got a large iced tea and it was delicious. The mung bean cake was amazing. Service was super friendly. So many vegan options!! Highly recommend!

I bought Golden assorted set (of 5), and a bean popcicle. The lady at the store was courteous and the sweets in display looked artistic. Pretty packaging as well. The popcicle and the sweets both tasted nice. Not a lot of additives therefore tasted the bean without a doubt, but rather gentle impression with right (light) amount of sugar. This would be a great alternative to lardy and overly sweet desserts, a healthy choice. There were some interesting items i.e. Red bean slush on the menu, I would like to try sometime.

Food: excellent! Low calories, clean ingredients, no artificial adds, not sweet! Recommend green bean ice pop. Cheap and cool! Service: very good. Friendly cute Chinese aunty~ Environment: perfect inside decoration. Easy to parking. Some restaurants around and u can come here to have dessert. But! The location is not very good… seems to only plaza nearby. Better if in DT or YS.

Rare gem of a place. Finely crafted drinks and treats, cosy atmosphere, nice to meet a friend here and enjoy. We stumbled upon this place. We were treated with so much care and courtesy. A rare find these days. Highly recommend! Lovely gift packaging when you buy the cakes.

My friend was looking for a healthy, refreshing drink yesterday while we were waiting for our dogs that were getting groomed. We walked around the plaza and found Bean House! As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed with so much kindness and warmth! The place is sooo cozy, relaxing, clean and makes you feel at home. The sweet lady working the front was so helpful with my friend finding the perfect drink. I explored the menu and found such amazing healthy food priced so well! I got to buy amazing moon cake treats made of chocolate and chickpeas... Sooo DELICIOUS! They taste like fudgey brownies. Also the apple pie moon cake is out of this world yummy! I really can't wait to go back. The staff is so sweet and helpful! I highly recommend it to all.

I Tried for the first time, very tasty and fresh. The owner is very friendly. I will go again soon to taste the other sweets.
