We had a lovely time and the staff were very covid conscientious, but unfortunately can't recommend them to anyone with allergies or food restrictions. The server who took our order repeated it back to us correctly but did not write it down and our appetizer came to us with meat added to it that we did not want - even though the mains we ordered were meat free. Presumably if we sent it back it would just be thrown out, which seems far more wasteful, bad for the environment and disrespectful to the animal so we didn't bother saying anything. Still it was very frustrating and disappointing, we are unlikely to return as a result.

Unfortunately Moxie's is no longer the place it used to be. The service was not terrible but there bartender saw us sitting down for about 10 minutes and didn't even acknowledge our presence. Once the waitress came to use the service was good from there on. The food was edible but bland and the steak was rubbery. I specifically asked the waitress if the steak was decent because I don't eat carbs and wanted something good. The chicken was also very bland ... The ribs were good. If your shopping at Polo Park and you don't want food court this is still a decent option but they really need to step it up.

Moxie's Polo Park is a great place to stop in when you are in the mall or the St. James area. The food is always excellent and the staff is great! Always a great dining experience and something a little upscale versus stopping in at the mall food court. Take a break from shopping and have a drink and relax.

I went here with my fiancé to celebrate my birthday. We started with the Cashew Chicken Lettuce Wraps ($21) and ordered the Chipotle Mango Chicken ($30) and Lemon Basil Salmon ($32) for our entrees. For desert we were given a complimentary white chocolate brownie which my fiancé devoured. Our bill came to around $100 since we ordered drinks as well. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. The manager came by our table to wish me a happy birthday and ask how we were enjoying our meal. In terms of value, I think the prices were reasonable. The appetizer could be an entree on its own. The Mango Chicken comes with two chicken breasts so you have the option to eat one and save one for later. Overall, great experience!

I was craving the White Chocolate Brownie so drove here late at night and ordered Cashew Chicken Lettuce wrap as well. The lettuce wrap was amazing - the perfect late night snack! The brownie was absolutely and sinfully awesome as always! Service was efficient and swift.

With the charged price , I was expecting real chicken brest ( Fresh)...not Processed chicken from Costco or Walmart

I go here about once a week with my wife and normally I would give it a 5 star rating Unfortunately todays not a normal day, and the service was nowhere near what I've come to expect from this location There was a weird residue in my beverage glass and when I pointed it out to my waitress, who was already not as polite as the others, she seemed instantly annoyed Yes, she got me a new drink, however it's a ten dollar drink and mine and my wives meals were also not cheap so when the drink itself wasnt comped I was extremely surprised It wasnt busy, I could have gotten proper service and unfortunately when she barely even apologized for the error, let alone didnt try in anyway to make it right I knew we wouldnt be coming back And dont get me wrong, were not difficult customers. The last time we came our waiter forgot to give us our dessert and had us waiting for it for over half an hour. However he handled it very well and comped one of my drinks for the wait and misunderstanding. I went on to tip him over $20 on a $100 meal I normally tip around 15-20% as my wife used to be in the service industry, however this lunch was so disappointing I paid with exact change

The food was great! Speedy service! Expo time was immaculate (under 10 minutes )! Our waiter was training a new employee. Hailey (the girl from who getting trained), did a great job. If anything, you should come back to this establishment for her trainer, Ryan. Amazing service from Ryan every time! Will definitely come back! Thank you for a great evening!

Haven't been here in years, tried the blackened shrimp tacos and they were amazing. The place is a little pricey, but the experience is amazing so I'll pay a little extra. We were taken care of very well by the staff, The manager even came around to make sure everything was up to our satisfaction. Moxie's is definitely on the lunch list now, we will be going again.

Had a great time here on Sunday evening.I loved the chicken Alfredo pasta it was delicious! The manager came by to check how everything was going he did a great job as well on making sure everything was running smoothly. Our waitress was attentive. Definitely will be back soon!

This is the second time this happens to me. The first time was insulting, and I did not comment or complain. However, this time it was unbearable and hard to let it go. I was seated at a table and then I went to the washroom and came back and found that my waitress seated someone else at my table and found that they had a glass of beer which was half full. I didn’t even last two minutes. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen, and the most insulting and disrespectful behaviour I have ever had in any restaurant. Do I need to take permission to go to the washroom so I can keep my table. Back to the last experience I had my card not working when I was checking out so I told them that my husband is awaiting me outside and I’m gonna go and get his card to pay. And you can keep my iPhone. However, they gave me the look of being a thief, and they also took my ID which was not supposed to happen legally. Does this make any sense? I left my $1500 phone for a 60 bucks bill and they still get me wrong. Moxie’s has been nothing but very disappointing and the worst so far. Of note, Carmen was very good and she was the only respectful person however, the rest were very disrespectful and didn’t care at all, which I felt very very insulting. I will never come back again, and I will never ever recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful place with a wide variety of food and a kids menu. Service was really good, especially by our server Ashley.

My curling team came here to eat between our games, and I really enjoyed my meal. I had the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni with creamy mushroom & Madeira wine sauce, fresh rosemary, lemon, and a garlic baguette which was very tasty. I gave the atmosphere a 3 star because we were seated right beside a couple with a child who was very loud, and crawling all over the place. I also thought that my meal was overpriced even though it was very good. If you don't mind spending $30 on the portion size that you can see in my photo, I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. The decor in the restaurant was very nice, and our waiter was excellent.

Went here for a work event and they moved tables together to accommodate our whole party and it was my first time at this Moxies location. Ordered the Blackened Chicken Burger and upgraded the side of fries to Poutine. Excellent on both parts. Chicken was tender, and the bacon was delectable. Poutine cheese was good, and the gravy was hot enough to melt the cheese appropriately. Fries were well seasoned, and firm enough to support themselves, yet still able to be bunched up with the fork and carried by the cheese. A very well composed (and tasting) poutine overall. The background radio songs were good, and I appreciate good speakers, but the bass response on those units were surprisingly high. The music was a couple notches too loud to make for background noise, and I found it difficult hearing the person sitting across from me at times over the bass in the songs. Our server Ariel (Arielle?) was solid, and she took our orders with ease. Got everything as ordered. We were a huge party so it understandably took a while to get the food. I think a manager came by to check on our party to carry dishes and check on us so that was good. It was a nice dining experience. Cheers!

This isn’t my first visit I’ve been to moxies but will certainly be the last, every time I come it just seems a little more disappointing. I ordered the beef dip and it just was a big mess, fell apart with the pretzel bun, beef was tough, and I just felt it tasted odd and I’m never picky with beef dips. Broccoli cheese soup was ok but I had to stir it for a bit to make it look better and found it pretty watery for broccoli cheese soup. I didn’t eat 90% of my dip and politely without saying anything said I’m all done. Not a peep from the server didn’t even ask me how it was. Wasn’t even looking to get comped but it would have been really nice for her to ask me how everything was. No problem tip my 20% and simply won’t return. For what you pay here I would say avoid. Go spend your money on somewhere more consistent

My husband and I took our 8 year old for lunch here recently. It had been years since our last visit. My husband and I got broccoli and cheddar soup, lettuce wraps and deconstructed bruschetta. All amazing!! And our server was absolutely fabulous. Even my kiddo was impressed. We will be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed eating here. Our server Cassidy was very attentive and always was ready for any question or request we had. She was also very polite, friendly and funny too! Our food had good portions and was super good, especially the mashed potatoes.I enjoyed everything I ate. I will definitely be going back!

Went for lunch yesterday with a friend and it was absolutely incredible. I'm a celiac person and the manager came and spoke with me and even served my food personally. I had no gluten reaction everything was perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Really friendly staff & the manager is truly awesome & clearly cares about his job. Always satisfied even if the foods a little off (one time the food we got was cold/still a bit frozen but they always handle it so well & it's only happen on two separate occasions). Drinks are always excellent & the seasonal menu is a must. Would definitely recommend stopping by the polo park location. I'm hoping with the mall Reno's that the moxies will be expanded or at least somehow have a patio added, I think that would be really great for pulling more ppl in especially in the spring and summer!

Wow, Stefan and Karen were the best servers in the world. They were so friendly and kind. Very understanding and knowledgeable about the menu. They had great senses if humor and were awesome. The food was very good. But the service was so amazing I can't even describe!!!

While food (beef dip) tasted good, it was a little "mushy". Menu has changed-not as many options. Had to ask for ketchup a couple of times before he finally brought it. By that time, fries were cold. The server was quite busy, but remained calm, and he was friendly and professional.

Nachos have been revamped. The platter is huge so bring your appetite or bring a friend! The menu says the meat is spicy but it's not. Still tasted great. Chips were fresh and crispy and it had a ton of cheese!

One word, misleading. I had ordered an espresso martini with the assumption that they used actual espresso as mentioned on their menu. When I had asked the male server running us our food, he told us that they didn’t actually have a machine in the back and that it was one of those quick coffee mixes. I wasn’t thrilled when I took my first sip of my espresso as it had tasted different than any other restaurants I’ve been to. Only to hear that it wasn’t actually espresso and that Moxies had it written on their menu. This comes across very misleading to consumers expecting real espresso. Felt like a waste of $14. Food was good.

Soup and salad I had was Tortilla and Caesar. Caesar was bland, but I guess that's their market. The parmesan shavings were a nice touch, but were laid on top of manufactured croutons that tasted like the box they came in. The lettuce was fresh. The tortilla soup was pretty good and surprisingly spicy given how the Caesar dressing tasted. Garlic toast was soggy like it was kept warm. The service was quite friendly and efficient and probably the best part of the experience. My daughter loves the place, so we will be back.

I haven't been to a Moxie's in God knows how long... My friend and I were celebrating our birthday months together and we were excited to try the burger from Le Burger Week. Definitely worth it! They even went above and beyond to cut it in half for us. The waitress' recommendation for the parmesan truffle fries was excellent! Everything about our experience was top notch. There isn't a better way to spend the afternoon day drinking with a friend and have a delicious lunch.

Was a fun visit. Food was excellent. Server was good. Made sure we had our food asap even when she was busy elsewhere.

I ordered steak here with the chimichuri sauce and a mimosa. The server gave me the cutlery with the steak knife and surprisingly upon opening it the steak knife is so dirty! With stains and water marks!! When i touched it was so greasy too! I told my server about it and she changed it immediately. But it ruined my night already and meal! How come the person who wrapped the steak knife with the napkin didn’t even notice that it was dirty!!! Gosh!

Always an amazing place for food and drinks. One of my top favorites for sure! Can never go wrong and I am thourouly impressed every time with waiting staff, bartenders, management and hostesses. Food is always above par and drinks are made with grace. I will always recommend this to anyone looking for a satisfactory experience! Well worth every penny.

Great waitress lady very kind server. Our food service was very fast I was impressed ordered within 10 mins our meal came. The cooks are amazing I ordered the nachos a veggies burger and the fries side to Share. There beyond burger is so good gosh you'd want more and the nachos are fantastic. Very impressed. Will be my go to fancy Dancy date place.

Moxies is my first choice as far as restaurants. The food is always 102%. However this location appears to have staffing issues. I was served in the lounge. After receiving my meal a server didn't come by for 15 minutes. We use to have a really good server Justin I miss his amazing service And he's no longer there? The drinks were not made properly. And the manager was very cold.

9/10 I had the Mango chicken which was yummy. Don’t take the calamari it was okayish. Pasta was bad.

Love the atmosphere! Staff is friendly, food is good, decent portions, prices are comparable to other sit down restaurants. Girls/boys night out, date night would be my recommendations for the environment!

Just one suggestion... although the service was great, it's not really necessary for the server (in the lounge) to ask how the guests are doing, and whether we need anything further, EACH and EVERY time you walk past the table. Please keep in mind that people are out and enjoying a meal with friends/family while trying to catch up on conversation (a little less interruption would be appreciated :)

There's a great atmosphere in the sports lounge, with plenty of tables and seating. I had the loaded cheese burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. It tasted liked I made it fresh off the BarBQ, only it was loaded with way more ingredients than I usually care to put on. It was loaded, but not hard to eat. It came with fries, which were pretty good with gravy and I enjoyed a couple beers with my lunch. The staff were also really friendly.

We enjoyed a nice family lunch in the lounge area with our adult children. We each had something different from the menu, and all were happy with their meals. I had really good chicken tenders with nice, crispy fries. My husband had the soup and a Caesar salad which was also very good. The server was excellent, friendly and helpful. Nice ambiance as well.

My friends and I went here for dinner last night and our waiter & the kitchen staff were amazing! I’m on a very specific diet and they were so accommodating. They were friendly and our waiter was so great! It was my friends birthdays so he gave them brownies on the house and signed my fiancés birthday card haha. Great food, good atmosphere, friendly and fast staff.

Had an excellent curry here, and my ma loved her shrimp tacos. She absolutely adored the guacamole. Which for her, means pigs have flown, as she hates guacamole. Pricey but oh, so worth it.

Moxie's was good, the servers are friendly enough and the food is good without being expensive. Except the wings though, stay away from those. They weren't actively bad, just very dry and unappetising. Moxie's was nice enough to take the wings off my order (without prompting, I was quite fine with paying for them). Pretty good spot for a brunch catch up, especially if you don't want mall food.

After walking around and shopping, we decided to stop by Moxies for lunch. I cannot fault the food. We definitely enjoyed our time here, although we were concerned at first as we had thought our little one would not be able to go inside. Luckily there were tables away from the bar area.

Food and service were a 5 but taking off 2 stars because they make it impossible to order online without Apple or Google Pay. After all the trouble of entering the order you can’t checkout and have to google the location to find a phone number, phone them, and start all over. Would it be that hard to have a checkout option without Apple or google pay or at least have the phone number pop up with an order number to quote? Using corporate travel cards these are not options.

Took my date and we sat in the lounge for a quick drink before we started our evening. We were told to seat ourselves and I was disappointed every booth for 2 was dirty (however the waitress did clean it promptly). There was a very nice ambiance and we will come back. Just hope with the world the way it is you are more attentive.

I enjoy eating in and the excellent service. The food is meh. It’s a funny easy place to meet friends or have lunch with kids.

My sister in-law and I ran out to get dessert. The white chocolate brownie is a classic favourite. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for, and the flourless chocolate cake in my opinion was a little too rich but delicious nevertheless.

Always loved Moxies and their service. Has a casual feel and the staff are super nice, even when they're just bringing your food to the table. I just really, really miss their old bruschetta dish but they killed it with the baby tomatoes now.

Staff was amazing. Only thing is we ordered salmon, it took a little before we got informed they were out of it. They got us steak, but we asked for medium rare but it was pretty rare.

Had the Le Burger week burger 2020, Damn good Burger. Sounds weird, tastes amazing. Pickled papaya, purple yam bun, radishes, daikan, garlic aioli and carrots...the combination left me wanting another one. The right amount of kick mixed with just enough sweet...delicious

We recently enjoyed a night out and the service was knock your socks off amazing!! From the hostess, the waiter and the perfect cooked food it was pure enjoyment. Great job to the whole team!

We both finished dinner, and we both said the same thing at the same time---Wow!! Market salad was superb - house dressing excellent. Both of our dinners were off the charts. We dine out a lot. Had never been to Moxie's Polo Park before. Best dinner we have had in a while. Server Ryan was great - never pushed but always right there when we needed him. A very relaxing dinner.

Staff are amazing during such unprecedented times with comfortable seating, hand sanitizer upon your arrival with friendly hosts, management and our fabulous waiter Nicole who wear masks and super friendly service you can see and taste with the most delicious sirloin steaks, Caesar salad and oh so amazing bite of brownie. Definitely recommended as it had a great flow of service and customers. Very professional and excellent service. Our first dine in restaurant experience in months and the staff here definitely made us feel welcome and appreciated. Make sure you bring photo Id along with your immunization card as this is required at this location. I don't have photo Id for my 12 and 15 year old daughters so we had to go elsewhere. A passport for a child would work or a student ID card (if your lucky and your school offers these). Eating out has gotten complicated!
