Great room , great location !!! Traveled for work , had a great night sleep … lots of dining and shops within walking distance… bumped into the manager Miguel Rojas , he was great and exemplified true hospitality …. Highly recommend for work or leisure, family or alone !!!!

Stay here on a weekly basis now, and was extended during summer . Excellent location, especially to 125. Lots of restaurants local. Tucked in a corner area behind condos, nice and quiet. Rooms are standard Res Inn. Staff is A+. Pool is nice, grille works great for cooking, nice fire pit for hanging out. Laundry is coin (come on, update to digital!), but room and machines are kept up and clean. A+

I'm always happy when i stay at a residence in i feel at home. They have a fully equipped kitchen with a dish washer and all your amenities you need to cook a good meal. They have free breakfast everyday. The staff is always nice , i definitely recommend it.

The hotel was nice and in a good area. The staff was friendly as well. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think I got a pet friendly room. There was hair on the furniture and got all over my clothes from sitting there. I am not a pet person so the hair thing was a bummer. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

I cannot say ENOUGH great things about this hotel(felt like home) From Ro, Mr. Rojas ALL of the people who work here are the KINDEST, LOVING, and above all make you feel at home. My situation was a little difficult but they were truly supportive I mean Above and BEYOND supportive and kind. My Son and I actually feel like home here. Loved the service in the Chula Vista location. Staff was pleasant but the breakfast staff was outstanding! Love the smiles ans helpful hospitality!

Worst customer service ever, I really mean it, there be video of me spazzing out but that was after they had chatge me about 500$ which included paying snacks and drinks, they never handed my key they said they couldnt let me stay andbc i broke policy by stealing the reeces that was included in the 500$ they couldnt refund the 500$ and they called CVPD, CVPD as usual takes the side that is doing something illegal to me and makes me out to look all bad, I actually had video of the confrontation with about 6 officers who even after acknowledging the receipt of payment said i was still in-the wrong and they had every right to keep my money that i could try small claims. I emailed with management who swore they’d refund, they never did. Ive had interactions with several employees and all very rude and make really offensive comments sad bc thats a nice property

Layout of the rooms on floor is flawed. Elevator is located centrally and rooms are highly confusing to find with up and down arrows rather than simple left and right arrows. If you walk one way you will have to come all the way back to go around to your room. Make sure you ask your room to be close to the elevator or you are damned. Even after asking explicitly during checking that I need room service daily, nobody showed up for cleanup, towel refresh or bedding adjustments. 3 stars are for location and aesthetic from outside which I guess is mandated by city bylaws or else they would have a cookie cutter design.

New hotel in a residential and business area that is currently under construction. Lots of great restaurants, a brewery, and shopping centers within 5 mins drive. The breakfast spread was the best out of any Residence Inns and compatible hotels - individually wrapped biscuit sandwiches, yogurt, pancakes - which was very convenient for packing lunches for the nearby theme parks. Love that Sesame Place is less than a 10 minutes away. they also put out cookies, fruit and juices in the lobby depending on what time of the day it is. customer service was also top notch as we had an issue with an upgrade request but resolved within 3 emails from the GM Miguel with the best possible outcome. this will be our go-to hotel for future visits in the CV area!

We stayed at this Residence Inn for 3 months and had a wonderful experience. From the General Manager and front desk staff, to engineering/maintenance team, to housekeeping staff - everyone was so kind, accommodating, and personable. Miguel (GM) leads his team well and is very present at the hotel. Many of the other desk team - Ro, Paz, Joyce, and Michelle were kind to greet us by name and get to know us. Good breakfast options daily. The hotel and grounds are kept very clean. The area around the hotel is great as well, very walkable to many restaurants and shops. About 25-30 min from beach, zoo, and airport. We miss you, Residence Inn Chula Vista!

Great 2 night stay over spring break. Very responsive and accommodating. Key cards were ready when I arrived for early check in. Special requests were in my room. Also was flexible with a late check out. Made my visit to Chula Vista extra comfortable. Stay here with confidence!

The front desk agent Alice left a bad taste in my mouth. She made some vulgar comments about my father that didn’t sit right with me and that I am still finding trouble to not take offense to. Other than that the hotel really is amazing however the comment Alice, one of the front desk agents, made outshined everything else they are doing right which ultimately made my decision to leave a one star review. I really wish I could leave a better rated review but the disrespect and straight offensiveness from Alice is too much to look past.

Over the course of a two month stay, Mr. Rojas and his staff were incredibly accomodating in every way. They went above and beyond any hotel I've stayed at prior, with their care, courtosey and concern for myself and fellow Soldiers. The room was clean, adequately appointed and serviced regularly without issue or complaint by trustworthy attendants. During an issue with the HVAC in the hotel gym, they went so far as to provide a large pedestal fan at my request. Breakfast was always fresh and well prepared. The food was of both greater variety and better quality than others I've had over many decades of travel. The kitchen staff were incredibly accomodating and always kind. Their cold brew coffee bar was a big hit and much appreciated. Alice and the night staff were on the desk were consistently welcoming and pleasant, at all hours; and were timely and effecient in taking care of any administrative issues/mail. I have zero complaints, everyone did a tremendous job, and I will be staying there again given any future travel to the area. Thank you.

Great hotel spot if you're in east Chula Vista. My only complaint is that the pool area should have its own restroom. No way you should have to take your dripping wet child inside the lobby to use the restroom when utilizing the pool.

The room sizes are great. They come with full size fridge, stovetop, microwave, dishes, glasses, cutlery. Loved the huge shower! Also very appreciative of the extra care they took with the tv remote because you always read/hear it's the dirtiest item in the room!!

Super nice place to stay... The staff is great and the room was clean. The shower was hot and the scented shower soap made me not even want to use my own. The breakfast in the morning was delicious.

Stayed here for 10 days. Staff was wonderful, always friendly and helpful. Room was nice 2 bedroom suite. Full size refrigerator and stove, was great to make meals. Housekeeping was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you again for everything.
