Couldn't be more disappointed by the experience we had tonight. we where greeted by a lady who was very aggressive and rude towards us. Its not how you want to be welcomed into a pub. We then ordered food, which took over an hour to receive. I decided to get the nachos which i was thoroughly disappointed in. Not only was the cheese not melted, it was stone cold. I was charged an extra few pounds which i wasn't too fused about but after receiving my meal i was quite outraged. My friends had similar experiences with their food. I wont be visiting again and highly recommend you dont.

This is a great pub. Nicely presented, good service and there was a live band and wedding party when we went. Lots of fun and everyone was really friendly.

Rude staff, terrible food, avoid at all costs! We visited here with our 3 year old, ordered pizza as that’s the only thing they do apparently (terrible taste, coming from a nearby chip shop in a box). And then we got shouted at because we brought chips from outside for our toddler. The woman was so rude to us and our friends despite our warnings to keep her voice down. Will not visit again!

At this pub, known for its pizzas sourced from a neighboring establishment, and served in a box, we opted for pizzas and beverages. (The only option was pizza.) Seeking fries for our toddler, we procured them externally. Unfortunately, a waitress or the owner of the pub, was informed of our situation and agreed initially. However, she returned after fifteen minutes, vociferating in a disrespectful manner, disrupting her leisure time with friends at a neighboring table. In order to diffuse the situation, we reluctantly disposed of the toddler's fries. Consequently, based on this experience, I don’t recommend this pub to anyone.

Another disappointing visit. Not sure what has happened here recently but it is always dirty. Emptied all over the bar, drinks served in dirty glasses and a general untidiness to the pub these days. Real shame cos it is a great building and good location. The bar staff are always a bit distant, not sure if they are unfriendly or lazy. Hope they can sort themselves out as this is a great place normally. Much better in the night time for example.

Excellent place to have a meal and a couple drinks on a night out. Great live music when they have events, sports atmosphere is fantastic and Lilly the manager is so attentive and accommodating! The back section has recently been redone offering warm heated cabins with your own private TV! The pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven are AMAZING. Really pleased we get to call this our local! Thanks Lilly and team!

Great staff and great atmosphere would recommend the pizza and the chips as they are amazing . great family atmosphere and very accommodating . love this place
