We were treated very badly at the restaurant. They gave us a seat in the centre and then said we were talking too loudly and moved us into a corner. The expensive wine that was recommended to us was mediocre at most and when we spoke to the sommelier about it, he took offence and accused us of trying to get free wine. The head waitress promised to make up for all the unpleasantness - but never did anything. We booked this restaurant because of the reviews. However, it's very far from authentic and the service is horrendous. Attention, the menu is at 45eur and not at 40eur as mentioned on their site - dishonest on their part too. Never again. What a horrible experience :(

About the remarks on Thursday of Tracey, we would like to say that her group made a lot noises. It was normal they have to move and change their place.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but it was hard to find anything special about this place. It’s in a nice house with somewhat confused interior deco, serving staff was nice but seemed impersonal. The most problem I had was with the food. The little set menu wasn’t anything creative, you get your nem, radish noodles, chicken w veges etc but nothing I would find gourmet or different from any other Vietnamese places. I didn’t understand the bowls of two and three portions with one bowl of rice our table of five had to share each course, why not just one big pot or individual portions? Anyway I think the problem is that there isn’t anything like haute cuisine asiatique in this neighbourhood so people go there thinking it must be great but for someone who’s familiar with the cuisine it was very disappointing. Very mediocre for the 45€ set menu. Nothing I remember as ‘wow I’d go back to have that again’. It’s Asian food for Belgian people in that neighbourhood who don’t know better. In Ixelles you find much better places.

The chef cooked a vegetarian menu for us and it was delicious. Super nice staff, beautiful place, all in all a great experience

International Service with little choice of menu. However the gourmet menu for 50 € is a Hit. I could not have eaten a Penut more. Tasteless but ok. Service: well done but platonic. You feel like a number in an important mashine with not enough clients to survive.

Too little space to describe how much my wife and I love the place, the people, and of course the food. Everything is done with care and expertise! There is not a thing out of place and the whole thing is an experience you cannot wait to get back to. We would give it ten stars if we could!

Amazing food! Everything was delicious and fresh, the portions were perfect. Strangely, I didn’t not take any pictures of the food but everything was truly tasty and well presented. The service was welcoming, attentive and friendly. The ambience was very cozy, perfect for a quiet evening for 2. It was a great value for money and we would definitely come back. We found out that once a month they organise a dinner followed by a live music concert - it’s on our list!

Friendly service, accommodating for unforeseen dietery requirements. Great wine at affordable price. Would have been nice tho to maybe have had some options f.e. a noodle dish instead of 3x rice. Overall pleasant experience. We will return for sure.

I would like to request the owner of this restaurant stopping threating my friend, who is pregant with his kid for several months and leave her in peace till the baby is born and talk decently in person in court. It is already tough and needs a lot of courage to decide to be a mother, with no family member in Belgium.

Food was great, service was OK by Belgian standards but if you are an English only speaker expect to speak French when ordering to the waiting so staff and there is no English language menu.
