I was traveling thru and I am happy that I got lucky and stopped there to eat. The beer (I had a Flare) was very good. The burger was excellent and I went with Brussels sprouts for the side and they were very very good. Best meal by far that I had in a restaurant in years. Next time I’m going through Sioux City I will stop again.

Great beers and food was much better than expected. Huge modern attractive space with wood fired oven. If you like craft beers DEFINITELY check this place out.

Been traveling across the country for the last 20 days. This is by far the BEST service, best food, best beer we have had this trip. And as far as Brewery goes definitely top notch! 2nd would be a place in Delaware. Definitely coming back, even though it will be a 2 day drive! If you come here ask for Isiah to be your server!!!

The previous reviewers steered us to this brewery, and they were spot on. The beers I tried were very good (Mondo Saaz & Iowa Sunrise). Our son tried the cheeseburger sliders, and the little bite I tried was flavorful. My husband and I ordered a build l your pizza that he picked out. I really enjoyed the brick oven crispy crust, and they added a decent amount of sauce and toppings. The only thing that made me give a 4 star instead of 5 star was the service. I agree with my husband’s review in regards to the lack of servers from what it appeared to us. Tables sat dirty while three servers ran around like crazy and the hostess delivered drinks/food, bused tables, and seated people. Very busy and somewhat chaotic, but I think we will definitely come again if we are in the area.

Great service! Awesome Dark Beer selection! 🤌 food was rather tasty, and the environment was very comfortable for my large family.

Great brews and great people. Lunch time is my favorite time to go, or stop in for a drink before a movie.

I ordered a cauliflower meat pizza gluten free. The staff made sure there was no cross contamination. The taste was outstanding. The waiter checked on us several times!

Had a terrific dinner at Marto tonight. In my experience, breweries that serve food often drop the ball on the entrees, but I’m happy to say that’s not true here. Our dinner was excellent. I’m not the biggest beer fan, but the Hefeweizen was perfect complement to my burger. The roasted brussels sprouts had bacon and a balsamic glaze which was delicious; a few were undercooked but not a deal breaker. I splurged with a slice of cheesecake which was a healthy portion - nothing skimpy here! Our server was knowledgeable and helpful, and the ambiance was clean and modern. There’s a nice selection of patio seating as well. So glad I took a chance on Marto - this is a winner.

My fiance and I came here changed our other dinner plans and came here after seeing the aesthetical place while driving by. Definitely a good call because this place has really a nice vibe and amazing food! We were there on an adventure date challenge where the task was to ask the server for their recommended dishes, and order that. I was actually relieved when the server recommended a salad I liked on their menu. The other recommendations will mostly pizzas but we were not feeling that so my fiance got one of the burgers. I had the Blood Orange Cedar Salmon Salad; Everything went so well together! The little pieces of orange with that blood orange vinaigrette and goat cheese and red onions.. Everything was amazing together. The salmon was also perfectly cooked. The server actually asked me how I would want my salmon cooked and I was quite surprised this was actually a thing. Either way.. well done was the way to go! They really were a lot of candid walnuts on here, by the way! I was surprised by how many! My fiance got the Barnyard burger (beef and bacon patty with bacon and pork shoulder and cheddar cheese); This one was loaded! Actually piled high and looked so indulgent! Quite a big meal here and very heavy in meat so he couldn't finish it all. Really really loved it though! He also got the side salad instead of fries with the apple cider vinaigrette. That vinaigrette was really good! Tasted like a bit of aviation of applesauce and I loved it as well! Fiance also got a beer recommended by the server there. It was the Golden Ale, and he was happy with that as well. We saw all the pizzas coming out and that giant Bavarian pretzel and definitely have this on our list to try next time!

Great waiter who listened and made suggestions. Wood cooked Pizza is amazing. There wasn't one thing on the Charcuterie board that I didn't like. Large selection of their own beer served cold! Variety of seating available. Repeat visit. Great waitress and food still great.

We enjoyed some sliders and they were so very tasty. The brewery had a lot of people eating n drinking on the patio with fountains view. Inside was filling up also. The cinema next door added to the area's inviting space. Think I was told they have been open 2 years. With a large motel across the street plus a couple bars just steps away down the street this is a hang out spot . My wife's strawberry shanty was very good but, my porter was average along with a hazy ipa sample. They had a few high alcohol brews but, I did not sample.

A good downtown spot with a large selection of craft beers and greatly diverse menu. Don’t miss the wood fired pizzas.

A large variety of beers and food. Nice location. Patio outside. Table and bar seating. Pretzel was delicious. Pizza was beautiful but lacked flavor. Disappointed in the service we received. The table next to us was greet promptly and drinks remained full, that was not the case for us. Overall pretty food and location but lacked flavor and depth.

The perfect spot to go to before or after a movie! With an incredibly diverse drink menu and food items to pair them with, it’s no wonder Marto is a Sioux City hot spot. Another cool thing they do is make drinks according to events happening in the area (RAGBRAI, Oktoberfest, etc.). A couple staple items: Bavarian Pretzel (it’s HUGE), Thai Pie pizza, Erik’s Brew Burger, & Marto’s Loaded Meats. Every employee from the host to the wait staff to the bar tender is incredibly friendly and pleasant when I go. Get to Marto for great food and service!

We love the beer selection, pizza, pretzel, and lately the fish tacos have been hitting the spot. You can sit outside, inside, at the bar by the beer or another bar where they cook the pizza. Good location on historic 4th st. Martos is it!

Great place to try. Friendly staff. Charcuterie board was creative. Pizzas are pretty yummy. Ordering system is time consuming.

Stopped by Marto Brewing Co. last night and I was shocked. I wasn’t expecting there to be a really good brewery in town, but Marto was there and it was great. The service was amazing and they were happy to give out samples until you found something you liked. They had a wide variety of beer styles and all three beers I tried were good. Bonus for having a clean bathroom to snap a selfie in so your followers on the ‘gram know you found a place with some cold ones.

Great Craft beers! Also offer wine, etc. The food is much better than most brewing companies. Fun, casual atmosphere with super friendly servers & bartenders! Always a stop for us when we visit Sioux City! We sat outside this time and they are dog friendly.

One of my favorite places to eat! The pasta is the absolute best and the giant pretzel was even better! I thought it was super great plain. The water was amazing as well. It is a little expensive but you do get leftovers.
