The receptionist who served us is an amazing woman who does so many things - running the cafe, cleaning our rooms and toilets, manning the check-ins and outs... And she does it all with a big smile. Totally no regrets staying here for 3 nights and would do it again if I were in the area. Breakfast here was good, they serve it from 7.45am onwards.

Stayed here alone, not cheap but will be if you share with 1 more pax. Convenient location to Zao ropeway, convenient store, rental shops and restaurants. All within walkable distance. Pack light! I don't think there is lift here. Slept really well as the room is clean, quiet and has good temperature. There is in room basin for grooming but shower and onsen bathtub is in basement 1. Toilets are outside your room available just within your level. Front desk lady was kind and checks on you if everything is ok.
