Very beautiful place. Wood cabin style japanese hostel. We had a fun time taking a ride on snow car to the inn with very friendly staff. Great service and food are very good especially for breakfast. Common area is a great place to sit by the fire and have some drinks. Too bad i did not really have the best time there because of too many tourist with small kid running around on wooden floor all the time and the bathroom is very small and always full of people which make it hard for me to relax.

One of the best resort restaurants I've been to. Served by multilingual staff and ordering system is in multiple languages. Massive variety of food as well ranging from usual resort katsu curry to steak (massive) to even fish and chips. The steak is well over-priced though, 4500 JPY is pretty crazy. It is big but thin. Fish and chips would probably be a better option but is the usual Japanese style fish and chips being bite sized pieces of fish. Note that this is also a lodge for people who wants to stay and seems to rent out a variety of equipment for hikers etc. Also has a reasonably stocked shop for skiers and boarders. Place is pretty big and the decor of the place is pretty impressive with a fireplace as well. Will likely be hte only restaurant I go to in Zao Onsen for lunch.

Simply perfect! Thank you for making our Zao experience spectacular! The staff is super friendly, dogs ok, great food and ambience, easy going, we felt relaxed as if we were home. Definitely coming back!!! Love Zao, Love Sangoro❤️

Staff are nice, food is nice, access to ski runs excellent but rooms are ordinary. 3 out of 4 not bad.

Great little place in the mountains. Great in the summer for BBQs and a quiet weekend away. Does a great hamburger too.

The food is great, music is nice. Really cosy place. Relaxing here is great.
