Huge place, perfect for a picnic or walking, jogging, and just breathing in some fresh air. Perfect for a family or a group of friends. Also has ample parking space and a public toilet. 500 kyats entrance fee, 200kyats for using the toilet.

Nice large park withe awesome green and small lake it's highly recommended to go there after you finished your visit to shwedagon Pagoda which is very close to this park. You can spent a great time walking around in the fresh air and enjoy the sculptures around also there is a great opportunity to take alot of nice photos with windows background 😀 You can find street food and drinks there as some small shops are inside also there is a big resturant When I visit at morning It was so calm but as usual at weekend it's very crowded There is entrance fees but it's very cheap.

It is a place where you can do morning and evening exercises. You can go jogging and enjoy fresh air. Besides, it maybe only one of the places in yangon where you can directly see and pay homage to the marvelous Shwedagon Pagoda.

Overall great place to spend a few hours walking around. Lush vegetation and nice paths. Come first thing in the morning. Also good yet rustic amusement park rides. Legit roller coaster. Log water ride and many others.

    * People's Park * It is the greatest park in Yangon and situated between The Shwedagon Pagoda and The Parliament Building. There we can do so many things for amusement, for adventure, for exercises, for picnic, for relaxation, for taking the photos, for riding a boat and so on. There are amusement park, play ground, flower beds, old shady trees, ponds, walking lanes, tree top suspension bridges, restaurants and food stores. It open 7 am to 9 pm daily. It is crowded on holidays with local people.

It's nice 👍, quiet and peaceful, it's beautiful. There are also rides for kids and restaurants for adults. There are rides like bike rides, flying plate ride, and many more games 😎 If you are a natural lover , you're gonna love this place 💞. It's nice to have a picnic 🧺 with family and friends. Also have festive season programs. It's big so don't get lost. Many varieties of shops, cafes and restaurants for everyone.

It is a beautiful park but there are crowded in weekend. Because it is located central point of Yangon and near around Shwedagon Pagoda, Sule Pagoda and famous shopping malls. It is also called amusement park and another amusement park also located in there. That amusement park is called Happy Zone. There have many restaurants and food court in there. But foods are not delicious and too much expensive. I strongly recommend please go there in weekday and bring your own food if you plan to go there.

This is like a theme park with rides. There are also lots of people and eateries in the area. Although the rides cannot be compared to huge theme parks like Universal Studios, it still does provide the purpose of a fast and fun ride. It is also a good walk to appreciate the view and surroundings.

Lovely park, a great escape from the city. A recommended chill spot to spend some time after visiting the Shwedagon Pagoda. There was a small fee to enter but it was really insignificant, definitely less than £1. There was a lightshow in the evening when we visited, this was more expensive ticketed entry but the displays were very impressive.

It is like Central Park in NYC. A very large park sometimes has outdoor event or concert host here. During the weekend the people come here for picnic, lovers come here for dating, family relaxing. It is nearby kan daw gyi lake and a theme park and zoo. A lot of trash in the park. Inside the park you can buy street vendor food and drinks.

Good place to go out with children. The price is quite expensive for the local and the RIDES are not worthy of the payment. Plus the safety is not guaranteed. The decoration also sucks because it’s been years. They need to renovate the whole park to attract both locals and foreigners. I enjoy the square full of fireworks and plants and decorations. Hoping to see better place in the future. The admission fee is also expensive. It’s not that worthy to pay 1000 Kyat. P.S. I rarely go to there.

Lack of environmental cleanness. Entry Fees is 1000 ks for each whether kid or adult. But it's one time use and not covered for the whole day. Not recommended for kids. Some games are expensive and I think it's not worth. Suggest: Should be moderate and maintenance.

I've not been there a long time, but this time it's not the same, it's so crowded, everyone's having fun of negative vibe. Becoming not much clean place , and the rest hasn't changed much.

A very large park and worth the entrance cost. The rides cost extra, but are very affordable. The restuarants serve great food for very low price. Lots of photo oportunities, walk around and have fun. Oh, and watch out for large scorpions on the sidewalk...this one was very thirsty as it was the dry season.

This is a very public area for most people in Yangon. People Gather here to Play games or for just gathering. This is a huge place. In the morning people would come here and walk, joggle or exercise. There are tons of areas in this place

Enormous park which has a slew of fun activities itself, but none quite as great as taking in the enormous and dazzling nearby Shwedagon Pagoda. For foreigners, there is an entrance fee of 5,000 kyats which is undoubtedly a bit steep, but if you allocate some time dedicated to making the most of this wonderful urban park, it is worth the price of admission.

Not very exciting but you may find something decent enough. Relatively family friendly but not entirely well-maintained and a bit smaller than expected.
