Loved the lunch! Off the beaten touristy path, well worth the stop. Clean bathrooms!

Always nice to visit a historic religious site. Has a special feel to the place. Positioned perfectly in the Judean hills

Immersive and amazing place in the middle road from Jerusalem to Bethlehem.

Food is pretty good for mass produced. Many bus loads of tourists come here. Must have an agreement with the tour companies

Beautiful, calm place ;) I liked the restaurant. Also near the monastery you can buy some handmade things and on its territory there's a shop to buy local wines, vinegar, olives, etc. :)

Truly friendly priest told an interesting story about origin of the church. Peaceful and spiritual place.

So this is a place where Elijah (Elias) rested. Opening hours are tricky.

There just for lunch. Very good.

Spectacular view and paintings inside the church is something must see. They also sell big candles.
