Italian food is based on the principles of doing the basics well, and that was certainly reflected in the quality of the food at Mama Mia. I had the bruschetta for starter and home-made orecchiette with tomato, ricotta and the perfect amount of spice. Both were delicious. Service is friendly and they are the only restaurant we visited that week which accepted credit card (a big bonus when travelling).

Nice pastas and starters. The atmosphere is casual and intimate. There is seating outside as well which is great in the warmer weather. The staff is kind and flexible about arrangements for events. I have attended nice cocktail style events there, with a nice range of appetizers and a lovely signature drink on offer.
