存在は知っていたのですが行く機会が無く初めて行きました。
日本のものとは思えない不思議な場所でした。
展示館があったので入ってみましたが少ししか出土品の展示がありませんでした。ガッカリして出て向いのお土産屋さんに入り店主の方とお話をしたら何とその方が百穴の地主さんでした!
少し奥に入った食堂の脇にはガラスケースに無造作に並べられた出土品が盛り沢山。
その数は展示館の数十倍以上。所有権は地主さんにあるとの事でした。(ちなみに写真はNGです)発掘調査当時の貴重な写真やお話もお聞き出来ました。
少額でも料金を取ってきちんと展示した方が良いのでは?とお話したのですが、本業はお土産屋であり百穴の入場料も貰ってるからそういう事はしたくないとおっしゃっていました。変な欲がなくとても気さくで親切な方でした。
展示品を観せて頂いたら食事やお土産を購入する事をお願いしたいと思います。
