the most terrible service I've ever had 1. there were problems with hot water: in the morning, when you need to wash, there is no hot water; in the evening, when I wanted to take a bath after long walks, there was no hot water. Maybe I am not so lucky, but in a loft with a luxurious bathroom it’s just a mockery! 2. It is difficult to contact the hotel by e-mail, letters remain unanswered 3. the hotel does not fulfill the confirmed promises: they confirmed in the letter a bright room with a round bathtub, in fact they gave a dark one and not with a round bathtub, why confirm that which they cannot guarantee ?! 4. take ear plugs, you will need them on Friday :) music hollows until the morning 5. The coffee machine did not work periodically 6. Ragged bathrobe 7. Room booked months in advance was not available hours prior to our arrival due to an accident. No compensation offered just an apology. Personal Item left in the room was found by hotel staff but after multiple emails requesting item to be sent to us (at our expense) item was never returned. Generally a little unprofessional. Great shame as hotel is nice.

Don’t book this hotel. It is a nice room but that is where it ends. There is a club just beside the hotel playing very loud music and ear plugs are no help. We booked to night but ended up finding another hotel for de second night. Worst stay ever 😢

(Stayed in Loft 3 for 1 night) Tl;dr romantic, but bring earplugs. Pros: room is beautiful & perfect for a short romantic getaway. Large sunken bath felt luxurious. Room felt welcoming and well finished. Cons: AC isn’t great. Nightclub is *extremely* loud, music bumping & people screaming until 5am. Windows offer 0 buffer (may as well be trying to sleep in the nightclub doorway). I could hear full conversations from bed. It should be stressed that I am not a light sleeper in the slightest - so this is not faint criticism. Literally Bring Earplugs.

My stay in Manzo’s suite was horrendous. Room was freezing cold, heating was not working and no one bothered to fix the issue for us Floor was horribly dirty Had not been cleaned up prior to our stay Manager LISA is highly unprofessional She could not even be bothered responding to my multiple contact attempts I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all Absolutely appalling!

Manzo's advertises itself as a 'boutique' hotel, so if you're looking for a boring, predictable Holiday Inn, this is NOT it. Every room is different, and the thought and care that went into making them unique, shows. We stayed in room #6, and enjoyed it very much. Bonus: I was able to watch World Cup football matches, while taking a shower! The food from the in-house restaurant is first-rate, and if you are looking for something else, there are a wide variety of other choices, just a few steps away. We chose the option to have breakfast delivered to the room each morning and it was excellent! Highly recommend. The suites are located in a bar/party area, but the rooms are decently sound-proofed, so noise was never a problem for us. There are two small casino's, a grocery store, and the Zandaam shopping district in short walking distance. Manzo's does not have it's own parking area, but there are several garages and parking lots, less than a block away. The main thing that made our stay at Manzo's exceptional was the STAFF. Each and every person I spoke to was friendly, helpful and amazing. The people working the desk had answers to every question, and a solution to every problem. Thanks for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Bonus: Gigi the welcome wolf! 10/10, will stay again.

What a great place, quirky, great location, friendly helpful staff and lovely comfortable rooms, just wish we had been staying for more than one night. My only reason for deducting one star is there were no coffee making facilities in the rooms and whilst they have a coffee machine in reception there was no milk 😔 We would definitely stay here again though if visiting Zaandam again.

As stated there were plenty of good and bad points for this stay. I think there's lots of room for improvement; however, if you're looking for a basic stay I'm sure it would be sufficient, but if you're looking for luxury it's not for you.

Friendly staff, nice rooms but it’s externally loud. There are several nightclubs in the streets in the back, so go knowing this, for me was not a problem at all. The only problem we had was: we arrived at 11:30pm and there was no one to open for us even reminding that we would arrive late. So don’t get there after hours and bring ear plugs if you have problems with loud music. Overall is a good place to stay

WHEN THIS PLACE OPENED IT WAS PROBABLY REALLY NICE BUT NOW IT HAS FALLEN INTO DISREPAIR. FROM THE PICS AND VIDEOS I SAW IT WAS GORGEOUS BUT WHEN WE GOT THERE IT WAS KINDA WORN IN. QUITE A FEW THINGS WERE BROKEN LIKE THE WINDOW AND IT WAS BEING HELD IN PLACE BY A BRICK WHICH REALLY DIDNT KEEP IT SHUT SO IT WAS PRETTY COLD ESP AT NITE. RECEPTION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TIL 9PM.

My only complaint is that their staff isn’t 24hrs which caused a delay in my travel during checkout. Other than that restaurant was amazing, they helped with my personal laundry, and the staff helped me recover my laptop.

It is straightforward to reach and a beautiful hotel in the famous Dam square. The interior is completely renovated, and the rooms and furnishings are new and clean. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, and the shower part is made of glass, adding beauty to the room. The reception is open until 21, and it is possible to rent it on Booking.com at an affordable price. You can use its back door and also it is reachable from the restaurant under it. The only bad thing is that they take a 150 Euro cash deposit at the entrance, and if you follow the hotel rules (not smoking, not damaging the belongings), they return it. I recommend that you do not overlook this detail

Stylish but not a hotel. Checkin / checkout isn’t easy. You have to call people and wait for 20 mins until someone shows up. Breakfast is a nice idea, but don’t order it if you have any intolerance. They mess it up and make you sick. Else the rooms are nice, large and well designed.

Service desk made zero attempt to see if an early checkin was possible (simply by seeing if room was vacant on previous day) instead rigidly repeating checkin policy. Poor attitude towards winning customers. I suggest you just book elsewhere that have a basic client-centric approach.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and designed very romantic, perfect for couples. Television with mobile phone screen sharing facility. I don't like the location because it's too dangerous in the evening and the daily way to Amsterdam Central is annoying.

I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic stay with their partner. The interior of the loft is super stylish and the bath & shower are great. Tip: the pleasure box is recommended if you didn't bring anything ;)

This room was obviously first class when first done, now a little dated but still excellent value for money - just needs attention to detail and work on cleanliness nothing major but just enough to make it first class
