The Akademie der Künste is traditionally a haven and hub for art of all kinds from all over the world. Anyone who wants to comes and goes here and meets the world's best artists at eye level. Slowly awakening from the hibernation of the pandemic, the first visitors cautiously dare to ask again about the art that the artists have created in absentia and that art lovers have long longed for. The works are still waiting for their places, but will soon take them and await visitors there. The Academy is also a hub for exhibition information throughout Berlin; there is no gallery in Berlin that does not want to be known here, and if it does not want to be known here, it is known here precisely because of this. Only a few connoisseurs and curators are still gathered here, but soon art will once again take its free course and captivate large numbers of visitors as it has done steadfastly for 325 years.

I visited this Academy of arts during Biennale. The exhibition was interesting and concentrated on a colonial past. The building of academy is simple and nice.

Staff was very helpful (front desk, gift shop, cafe, & security throughout). Viewed a free exhibition (I love public art). Great architecture within. Not crowded.

I love contemporary art museums, but of our 5 days in Berlin, this was the most disappointing stop. 18 euros for an exhibit you can fully experience in 30 minutes. I recommend walking in and seeing the architecture from the lobby and moving on. Take in the bank next door while you’re at it. The free view of each is well worth it.

Because of the attitude of the café. After 4 days of working there during an event, we also brought our own food and ate it in the café. The leader of the bar asked us to leave because we ate our own food. However in the previous days we consumed a lot there. And there weren't really other unreserved places to sit and eat inside the building.

Nice spacious building for events and exhibitions. Even I been there for an exhibition which was good. Nice area for other tourists attractions. All I missed one this toilets in the basement and you have to pay for that which is such disturbing for the people who paid for exhibition or event and on top of that they have to pay for toilets 🤷‍♂️

I love this building. Modern and elegant. If you are there djring the long night of museums in september, they open their terrace with a gorgeous view on Pariserplatz 🥰

An oasis of peace and quiet where the hoards don't invade. With tourists everywhere outside, this is a lovely place for a coffee.

Enjoyed the 12th Berlin Biennale here! This Akademie Der Kunste is slightly disappointing compared to their property at Hanseatenweg however it is worth visiting

Cool building, went for the Ns-archetecture special exhibit which was very high quality if also pretty disturbing. However, we wanted to go on a tour. We looked for the time online, but there was no option to buy or reserve a spot in advance. We got there, only to be told that we should have reserved a spot because the tour was full! A bit of a frustrating experience, but we eavesdropped on the tour and it seems we didn't miss much 🤣

Not much art today. Pre ww2 History lesson. Closes at 7 not 8pm as advertised. You must pay for the toilet.

They have a café and a toilet inside. It's never too crowded so if you're looking for a break from the busy city outside, stop by here.

Very trendy place to host events and gala dinner events for companies and can host a lot of people... Indeed has its own attractions both from an architectural design and character I would suggest you visit the place once you are in Berlin

I found the place a little crowded for corona times, even when buying time-slot ticket. In addition they make you leave your name/address on a piece of paper even if it is on the ticket already. So not the most pleasant experience. The rest depends on the exhibition.

👍👍 Wow. The stadium is not so big but the atmosphere is something incredible... Visited during derby Union - Hertha BSC. It was crazy... 6/5 stars. You should come and check it yourself...
