Overall, I have to say that the value for money at Center Parcs is a bit off these days. As someone who used to really like the whole idea of Center Parcs – you know, those cozy holiday cottages with lots of fun things to do, especially for families – I think it's important to point out a few things that bothered me during my recent stay. First off, we picked one of those fancier "VIP" holiday houses, but the place had a strong smell of mold, and you could actually see mold on the walls. I'm not sure when they last updated it. Also, the bathtub had some bugs in it, and there were some other cleanliness issues that caught my attention. As expected, the pool area got really crowded over the weekend. It's fine, but maybe they should think about limiting how many day visitors they let in when it's so busy. Just my two cents. You should also know that a Center Parcs getaway can get pretty expensive, especially if you're a family and you want more than just fast food. On a positive note, there are some free activities that are pretty good, like the Family Quiz Night. The staff at the park are mostly friendly and seem to care about guests having a good time. And I've got to say, the dinner buffet at Evergreenz is worth trying. The food's really good, and it's €40 per person, which isn't bad, especially considering you get free beer and wine. Unfortunately, this was the second time in a year that I didn't have a great experience at a Center Parcs resort. So, I might hold off on coming back until I hear things have improved. Just thought you might want to know before you make your plans.

Our stay at the park was quite positive, however in the last two days we had some problems with the bracelets. Something went wrong when we made a reservation for bowling and we couldn't get any money back. Instead they put the money on the bracelets, however the day after that happend we wanted to pay at the park with the money that was put on the bracelet and we couldn't. All the money on bracelets were gone and so we lost quite some money that couldn't be paid back to us. Furthermore, when attending the buffet, birds were sitting and eating the food which caused me to lose my appetite. It was not only a bad experience since the staff that helped with the activities like paintball and rafting were very friendly and nice.

Aqua Mundo is AMAZING!! WITH 4 KIDS AGE 9,7,5,4 we loved every minute of our stay. Free life vests for the kids to feel safe. Lots of options, slides, wave pool, and much more. Great for all the family. We were staying in a great apartment of 8 people at the marina, at ground level. Every morning we woke up to feed the ducks and dip our feet in the sea. The apartment was big, clean and had very comfortable beds. It is a bit far away from Aqua Mundo and the restaurant and supermarket but on the other hand was private and very close to the mini golf, action center with bowling, kids indoor play area, and night shows. So we loved it, great sunset over the marina, quiet area, and comfortable beds. ! 10/10.

We stayed in a 12 person VIP apartment which was basic and very poor quality. The apartment is not cleaned during the stay and was quite dirty when we arrived. The activities were good but generally expensive or over sold. Hired a boat on the lake but it broke down so we were left stranded for 20 mins, kids safari is not as advertised the remote control is just a stop button and there is no dedicated area for it so had to stop for cars and bikes all the time. Paint a gnome was literally just a wooden log. The swimming pool is very good but busy. Mini golf is old and falling apart. The outdoor cinema wasn’t working when we booked it. We booked paintball but were told the day before they didn’t have any paintballs.

Good thing: employees who try to provide service The rest: very bad Everything they want from you is more money. Want another blanket at night ? You'll pay Dirty sheet and want to change it? you will pay Very uninteresting attractions. The water park is relatively average. most disappointing. Want a temperature higher than 22 degrees? nothing. Cold in summer and frozen in winter In short: run away. We were a couple plus two teenagers. Score 1/10

Beautiful place! The rooms were very clean. The only problem is that there was no reception to help, but all the workers (especially at the action factory) were helpful and kind. The Aqua mondo is fabulous. You can spend the all day there. The Restaurants and supermarkets have reasonable prices (surprising). The location is very good (one hour drive to all the big attractions in the Netherlands), but it's 15 minutes ride from the highway. Very very recommended 😃

    - The food quality of the all-you-can-eat restaurant is very good! - The aqua mondo is a very interesting place - Cottages are great, spacious - It was never clear that there is no soap nor shower gel for the bathroom and kitchen. That was very disappointing to be the first surprise we find in the cottage. This should be written clearly while reservation (like it is clear for the towels). - It was not emphasized in any reservation instructions, that you must reserve in the restaurants. First day we arrived, we spent an hour rotating on restaurants to eat, none ageeed on receiving us. Finally Grand Cafe had a place, but we waited 50 minutes from 8:00 PM till 8:50 PM to eat. Moving on with the reservations, everything was great.

✅ If you're going in low season (it gets insanely busy on Saturdays and Sundays and obviously during school holidays), this is the most beautiful pool you'll find in the Netherlands. It's just gorgeous! They also have plenty of slides and fun things like the wild water and wave pool, including a nice outdoor pool. The temperature in the dome is super warm, when the sun is shinning it makes you feel like you're in the tropics. It is very nice. ✅ The Action Factory has a soft playground suitable for children under 12 (there are some annoying older teenagers that are quite rough from time to time so pay attention to your kids) and they have a arcade hall, it's small and on the expensive side but it's not too bad. Toddlers will enjoy the soft playground. ✅ Free entertainment like the quiz night, it was quite fun. There was also a bingo night for 12 euros per bingo card. Not too bad and it was quite fun. ✖️ EXTRA COSTS: Way too many extra costs, I wish they would be more transparent with the final price. The price they offer ends up being 100 euro+ more expensive as you have to pay service costs, bed sheets, towels, etc. ✖️ Activities are very overpriced. Their supermarket and restaurants are also way more expensive than a regular supermarket. ✖️ Besides being expensive, food is awful, like really really bad. I don't eat out often so I glady cook at the cottage but for people that enjoy eating out, this isn't the holiday park for you especially since there isn't much nearby other than the center parcs restaurants. ✖️ I had the VIP Cottage and I had some issues with awful sewer smell coming from the sink in the toilet, luckily after a day suffering we managed to fix it by letting the tap run for a few minutes. The bubble bath didn't work so it's a shame we couldn't use it. I found the mattress and pillows horribly uncomfortable (way too soft, cheap quality) but it might be a personal taste. The cottage was big enough and it looked okay, the kitchen was fully loaded with utensils. ➡️ My 4 year old child LOVED it and I'm pretty sure any kid under 13 will have the time of their lives there. For parents it might be less nice as there are some issues as I mentioned above. Would I come here without children? Maybe, but just for the pool. It isn't the best place for an adults only holiday, too many children and activities are children centered.

Place was overgrown with weeds, quality bad towels bad (paid for them) Roads were often blocked because of workers / contractors. They provide soap/ toilet paper etc the same for one night or one week keep that in mind (especially visiting from abroad.) Checkouts are BEFORE 10 am., checking in is not possible until 4pm. Prepare for long walks to the stores/ restaurants. We didn't got the space that was promised when we booked online. No earlier check in. They don't provide a ride to your cabin if you came with a taxi . It's focused on local guests with own transportation. We rented a golf car for a week .

Let's start with the positive things: 1. Amazing swim landscape with lots of slides, which is free 2. Nice location in the middle of nature along a river. 3. Staff is trying to be helpful Negative things to mention till now 1. No flair, badly maintained 2. Room is given in a broken state (leaking bath, fridge not working properly) 3. Not even basics in the room, such as sugar and salt 4. Expensive prices for almost everything extra from kids activities to extra towels (10 EUR per person to EUR 30) 5. Expensive overall room prices for a very average room 6. All activities are 7 to 10min walk away with no shuttle services available. 7. No real guidance, what is free and what is not, or we may have missed it.

Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to begin by expressing my sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience I had during my stay at your resort. I truly enjoyed my time there and would be more than happy to visit again in the future, as well as recommend it to all my acquaintances. The ambiance of the vacation village, the array of activities, the dining options, and everything the resort has to offer are simply exceptional. Your commitment to providing a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for your guests is truly commendable. I do have one minor suggestion to make. While I understand the desire to be mindful of costs, I encountered a slight inconvenience when it came to dealing with rainy days. Drying and exchanging towels for a single person at the cost of 8 euros per towel seemed a bit excessive, especially considering that during a 7-night stay, this expense can quickly add up. Perhaps there could be a more cost-effective solution or a more flexible policy for these situations. Nonetheless, I want to emphasize that my overall experience was fantastic, and this suggestion in no way diminishes the quality of service and comfort I enjoyed at your resort. Thank you very much for everything, and I look forward to the opportunity to visit again in the future. Warm regards, Shiran

Not a bad holiday venue at all. The rooms are spacious, thought the neighbours are constantly walking past the back of the property. There is an almost damp rotting smell from the water near the property, not pungent but noticeable. Pool is good, enough seating for everyone though you may have to have a walk around in busy periods. Outside pool and the rapids was the families favorite. The food is basic and they charge for anything and everything extra apart from mustard, can be quite expensive. Cash is accepted in most places but not in the pool area, I have had to use my card more hear than expected, as paying cash can be problematic, especially if there is a que in the shop as they keep serving the next person even before you have finished paying through the machine. I would come hear again if I get the same great deal. At full price I would struggle to see the value.

Was a good place and the kids and us was impressed by the area, but I worth mention, the room was a bit dark, also, we had an issue with the shower causing my son to get scratched (reported on their WhatsApp, that they already was familiar with this malfunction and didn't fix that..), And, mice has visited our balcony (even after the said they will sent their 'green team' or something). Pools were closed early, so when we got back from some outside attractions the pool was already closed (mid June)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Center Parcs DE Eemhof and while my experience wasn't perfect, I still found many aspects of the resort to be enjoyable. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a plethora of outdoor activities available. It truly is a nature lover's paradise. The houses themselves are a bit older, but they still retain a rustic charm that adds to the overall experience. During my stay in the winter, we did have an issue with the heating after midnight, but it was quickly resolved by the friendly staff. The pool was also a highlight of our trip, with plenty of water activities to keep us entertained. In summary, while there were some minor issues with the accommodations, the overall experience at Center Parcs DE Eemhof was still a positive one. The beautiful location and wide range of outdoor activities make it a great spot for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. I would recommend this resort to anyone who loves nature and outdoor adventure.

Perfectly located. 50 minutes drive to Amsterdam City centre. Lots of activities. Reasonable priced. Great with kids. Areas of improvement could be blind out curtains, as it was light in the room from 6am onwards. Some staff are very friendly, others need a bit of training.

Rooms are unevenly sized. This place reminds me of a sleep-away camp. Shower was d cent tho. Lots of bugs everywhere. I didn't know what to expect, but this is not a place for me. Food options were lacking....best thing was to go to a nearby town to go shopping for stuff and making it in our home. The good thing was this area is very pedestrian friendly - they expect you to drive in to unload, but then park your car near the front, so people don't have to be worried so much about car traffic. Very kid-friendly. If you like camping, this may feel like glamping, close to fun activities and even a small petting zoo.

Overall great place. We had fun staying for a week, we mainly used it as accommodation for many day tours around, but also very much enjoyed the time we spent at the centre, great water park! Only reason for taking out 1 star is the poorly maintained “river” / or should you say - fake “river”, that spans all around the resort. Water almost doesn't move in it, which creates a hub for mosquitoes, we even spotted few dead fish in it. Please do something with it!

The place is amazing. The obscene of cars is a big plus. There are a lot of attractions for kids. The rooms are equipped very well. The only unexpected for me issue was that the place supply very little amount of soap, trash bags etc.

We loved our stay! There were plenty of activities on offer and they weren't oversubscribed, so we could choose them on a daily basis, rather than having to book months in advance. The cabin was clean and well equipped. I suggest having a better system in place for archery when there are more archers than slots available. During our session there were 7 people and only 6 targets. I was the unlucky / polite person who stepped back, and waited for the instructor to rotate us, which she didn't. She just told me "you must ask someone to take their spot or you won't have a go". I then had the embarrassment of having to ask people to let me shoot - not everyone took too kindly to having to forfeit "their" lane. The sensible thing to have done would be to rotate everyone a lane across after each round so it's fair and everyone has the same number of turns. I feel I missed out and didn't get a fair deal because of this and because the instructor insisted that I just ask people myself - very awkward. The other small suggestion I have is that the restaurants drop their exorbitant prices. I'm sure they would have more customers if they didn't charge so much. On a positive note, I cannot speak highly enough of Gideon at the cycle centre! We brought our own bikes and had various problems with them. He went far, far above and beyond to fix them, even going into town to get a new inner tube for my daughter's bike as it's an unusual one that they didn't have at the centre. He even fixed issues that we hadn't reported - adjusting brakes, oiling chains. All of which he did for no charge and very quickly. He is the nicest man and we'll never forget his kindness - please give him a raise!!

We spent our summer vacation in the park with our children aged 15, 11 and 7. The park offers a huge variety of attractions and activities and is about an hour away from every famous tourist site in the Netherlands. The cottage we ordered was very well equipped, including kitchen utensils of all kinds. Our children enjoyed Aqua Mundo the most because because of the rainy weather we were mostly there. We highly recommend a vacation in the park, it allows both to travel and to use the time optimally, we and the children did not want to leave 😅 The only important thing to take into account is that many attractions and additional equipment are paid and booked in advance. In the varied weather that was in the Netherlands during our vacation week, it was a bit difficult to plan the reservations in the park in advance.

Not my kind of 'vacationing' so maybe not the best to give advice on the Eemhof. The bungalows are a bit run down although the inside is renovated it still has an old feel to it. The rooms are pretty narrow for two single beds and even for a double bed. Since we stayed with 8 adults in the bungalow I chose to sleep on the couch to have some kind of privacy. The space between the beds was just 40cm. Again not for me, but perhaps a good getaway for a big family.

We had a lovely, magical time here. There was so much to do, and the choice was quite varied. Although some of it was quite expensive, as a family travelling with only one child it wasn't too bad, but still a couple of activities were financially unavailable to us, such as €90 for an escape room hour. The waterside VIP apartment was amazing, and the morning bread delivery was a touch of genius. There is just one tiny detail that seems to have been overlooked, and that is you really need much better lighting along to pathways in the evening. It was so dark I stayed indoors rather than risk falling over outside. All in all though I do highly recommend de eemhof

We just returned from a family weekend at de Eemhof. I was really pleasantly surprised about the whole experience. We stayed in a VIP cottage, which was very comfortable, clean and new, with a beautiful view of the water. We even had a swallow nesting on our terrace. All the activities were great (we did a lot of them) and we found all the staff to be very friendly. My only gripe was what one of the other reviewers already mentioned below - why are day trippers allowed in the aqua mundo when we had to pay so much to stay in the cottage (we also live only a 45 min drive away)? We might also consider just coming for a day trip next time instead. We thought before that the whole resort, including the aqua mundo was exclusive to residents of the resort.

Nice place! Lot of indoor and outdoor activities for kids and adults! Water park has lot of nice rides. House was beautiful and cosy. 4 stars for all nice things, not 5 star because there is no sauna.

It just have to look clean not be clean. and if you lost something in the room and the cleaner finds it they get to keep it. They dont care about you just the money bad mannered people

The park is ok overall, nice nature and waterpark is alright just a shame there were two middle age muppets with a bad attitude serving at the desk in entertainment center that spoiled the atmosphere..

This park can be a great experience if you are prepared. I was not aware that bed linens were not included in the reservation but i was able to add it in once we arrived. I would have brought more food along as well. The water park is good but can get crowded quickly. Amsterdam is 40-45 mins drive so it is easy to spend a day there and still get some time in the water park. The staff was very friendly.

My recent stay at De Eemhof Center Parcs in the Netherlands was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the resort's stunning natural surroundings and the fantastic indoor swimming pool. The indoor swimming pool was a true highlight of the trip. It's enormous and offers something for everyone. Whether you're an avid swimmer, a water slide enthusiast, or simply looking to relax, this pool has it all. The water slides were a blast, and I must admit, I couldn't get enough of them! It felt like being a kid again, giggling and splashing around with pure joy. The lifeguards were attentive and made sure everyone was safe, which allowed me to fully enjoy every moment. The pool area is thoughtfully designed with various sections to cater to different preferences. The family areas were perfect for spending quality time together, while the more tranquil corners were great for those seeking a serene escape. The tropical ambiance, with lush plants and cascading waterfalls, added to the overall charm of the place. Beyond the pool, the natural beauty surrounding De Eemhof Center Parcs was breathtaking. The resort is nestled amidst lush greenery, and there are numerous walking trails to explore. I spent hours wandering through the woods, admiring the picturesque landscapes, and feeling completely rejuvenated by the fresh air and peaceful environment. What impressed me the most was how well the resort integrated with nature. It was evident that they took great care to preserve the natural beauty of the area while providing guests with an unforgettable experience. In conclusion, De Eemhof Center Parcs exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect blend of an amazing indoor swimming pool experience and a connection with nature. I can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this idyllic haven

One day Swimming Toilets ware not clean I think the Water was cold Some point the stone floor velt sharp. The bubble bath was not available didn't work. I really think I paid too much 😕

if you have kids you’ll probably spend the whole time at the swimming pool which is open to one day trippers. I question why I spent so much money on the hotel stay whereas I live 30 min away the Centerparcs Eemhof. rude staff everywhere, especially where they welcome(!) the guests when you first arrive and at the swimming pool. we also feel discriminating behaviour towards us. sewage smell at the cottage and also clogged drain in the kitchen.

The water park and Restaurant were a 30 minute walk from the cottage. So we had leased a golf cart (e-car), we didn't realize E-car Parking is still 15 minutes drive from cottage The room had no AC and was very hot. One towel package per person we're not enough towels for a week. Free wifi is slow!. No option to deliver food to the cottage. Restaurant food was often slow, and employees complain there is a worker shortage and only one waiter working the entire restaurant. For questions there is a WhatsApp number listed on the map but we were referred to go talk to reception and we're not much help. The reception was far away from the cabin and had a long queue. Our cottage has a water view, the water was green and not flowing. Outdoors there were mosquitos and a lot of spiders and bees. We often find spiders and crawling in our rooms under the bed and in the bathtub. This was a family vacation and one of our group were stung by a bee. Rooms must be cleaned before leaving, garbage bags provided wouldn't be sufficient you need to buy them at the supermarket. If you like camping, cooking and cleaning, this may be for you. If you want a relaxing vacation or go to the amazing pool, maybe stay somewhere else.

  • 4/5 Maurice de G. 1 year ago on Google
A bit pricey, but it's really nice to basically hear nothing but nature whenever you are in your cottage. Unfortunately not too many vegan options in the restaurants, but the small supermarket has a decent assortment of vegan products, so cooking in your own cottage isn't much of a problem.

Fabulous week, blessed with beautiful weather, enjoyed with friends. Aqua Mondo is wonderful. Our Marina apartment was lovely. Didn't want to come home.

  • 4/5 Faried B. 2 years ago on Google
Really nice resort close to Amsterdam. Stayed at the marina. The rooms were massive and well equipped. View from room was great. Only issue that on arrival the fridge was not working and the freezer ice melted leaving a pool of water in the fridge for us to clean. There was also a dirty dish and tray in the microwave which indicated apartment was cleaned properly. Lastly the window was stuck open the whole night and maintenance needed a key to unlock it the next day. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We spent a week here and loved every moment, so much we did not want to leave. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the cottage is comfortable and I can't remember sleeping better anywhere else. The kids absolutely loved the place. They could have made the place even better just by cutting the grass in the back yard. You need to remember few things before coming here: You need to bring everything with you, even down to toilet paper and dish soap and perhaps towels. They don't allow parking inside the park unless you have a disability card (we do) and that means you need to walk back and forward to the main parking area. For us it meant 1.2 km to any direction. All and all we loved the place.
