The Tuurtoren in De Stille Kern is an absolute must-visit for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers alike. This impressive tower offers breathtaking views of the surrounding natural reserve. The location is easily accessible, with ample parking nearby. The tower itself is well-maintained and provides several levels of observation platforms, giving you the opportunity to admire the diversity of birds and wildlife in their natural habitat. What truly makes this place special is the peace and serenity it offers. The silence of De Stille Kern is almost magical, allowing you to truly connect with nature. It's the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of Dutch nature.

Beautiful nature reserve. Difficult to follow paths due to fallen trees and many deep puddles. You can see wild horses and cattle there

This 12 meter high tower is located in a beautiful nature reserve Horsterwold near Zeewolde. From the tower you have a beautiful view over open fields and bird-rich water features. The tower is easily accessible by both bicycle and car (there is a parking lot a few hundred meters away). It is quite a swampy area so don't forget your boots!

Beautiful lookout tower that overlooks the silent core, a nature reserve in Zeewolde where everyone can walk freely through nature. Everything is free to visit, disabled parking spaces (4), ample parking spaces and also space to store bicycles.

February 6, the wind was blowing very hard and I climbed halfway up the tower. Walked into the area of the Stille Kern and was able to take many photos.

The nature is beautiful there. If the weather is good and you wear good shoes, it's worth taking a walk there. It's best to take binoculars with you.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful pool, one of the prettiest in the country. The temperature is great so it feels like you're in the tropics. At the weekend or during the school holidays as it gets too busy, it's hard to enjoy it that way. During weekdays it is beautiful and calm.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ A must come here for every dog owner. Parking costs €6. Payment is made with a credit card directly at the barrier when driving in, which worked without any problems for us. The beach is spacious and you can also find quiet corners. I wouldn't come here without a dog. The dogs can do whatever they...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Amazing tulip fields that were in full bloom. The field was so huge that the other side of the field was not even visible. Visited here the first week of May. Just a note the tulip is harvested every now and then so similar blooms are not guaranteed. I would recommend checking the latest pics before...
