After the birth of our second child, I suffered from severe neck pain caused mainly by stress but also insufficient sleep and lack of sport / activation. I figured that I would need professional help with this problem including manual therapy but also guidance on how to prevent this from reappearing. I chose "Fysiotherapie OpMaat" to support me here primarily because it was close to where I live. The online form to make an appointment was easy to navigate and I promptly received the confirmation for my appointment (I will say, however, that I am "aanvullend verzekeerd" so that I didn't need a "doorwijzing" from my GP). Thereafter, I got access to an online portal where I could fill a detailed questionnaire which guided the initial appointment which was one part discussing the medical history / current problems ("anamnesis") and one part an actual treatment including a physical examination of the affected musculature. The appointments I had were with Danique who did an excellent job in guiding the anamnesis but also asking the right questions to further narrow down where the pain was precisely located and which muscles were involved and affected. During our conversations, Danique was always friendly and empathetic. Already the first manual therapy relieved a lot of tension in neck musculature and the exercises she taught me during the first session further alleviated the pain over the coming days. Of note, Danique also located additional muscle groups around my scapulae that were affected and contributed to the overall pain. Performing exercises on these muscles expedited my recovery. I had two additional appointments in the coming weeks during which we optimised the exercises I could do at home but also performed manual therapy to release the remaining tension in the affected muscles. By following her advices and performing the exercises she proposed, I am still pain-free to date. In summary, I can fully recommend Fysiotherapie OpMaat and especially Danique who is a really nice and empathetic therapist!

Evelien begeleidt mijn revalidatie sinds ik in het ziekenhuis de diagnose longcovid kreeg. Ik kon haast niets meer. Evelien heeft mij perfect geholpen met ademhalingstechnieken, kracht en conditie maar ook met geduld hebben en gedoseerd weer actiever worden. Ik ben nog niet helemaal hersteld en ik heb nog begeleiding nodig. Ik voel mij daarbij gesteund door fysio op maat waar ik altijd met mijn vragen terecht kan.

Geholpen door Erik Edelenbosch. Geweldige therapeut, legt uit wat eraan markeert en waardoor het komt. Na de eerste behandeling trad er al verlichting op.

Na twee maanden rond gelopen te hebben met schouderklachten en niet wetende waar het vandaan kwam, legde Erik binnen no time de vinger op de zere plek en is er een behandeling uit voortgekomen die alleen maar voor verbetering heeft gezorgd. Er wordt echt realistisch gekeken naar wat er binnen je macht ligt!

Fysiotherapeute Evelien heeft me heel goed geholpen en goed gemotiveerd om de oefeningen vol te houden, waardoor ik me heel veel beter voel. Altijd benaderbaar voor vragen en follow-up. Al met al heel blij dat ik door Evelien behandeld ben.

Sinds enkele maanden ben ik in behandeling na een heupoperatie bij Danique. Ik vind het fijn dat we samen doelen hebben gesteld. Ze kijkt iedere keer weer of er een tandje bij kan of dat er juist stap op de plaats moet worden gemaakt. Goed luisterend, met zachte hand begeleidt ze mij naar fysiek herstel.
