The reason I rated it 3 stars, although it deserves more... is the closed parts that no body said anything about, I mean if you're closing half the place for maintenance at least say so, or give a half price discount, I went there to see sharks, I told my little girl we're going to see penguins depending on past reviews I read, but we didn't because the section was closed.

I have been to the one in London which was way better than the one in Istanbul, though the prices are similar. This one is way smaller and it smelled bad. I expected to stay there for more than 1 hour but the experience took only up to 30-40 minutes. Not many exhibits. It might be a good place to take your kids to as they have some attractions for kids and some playground areas, some of them with Lego. I, personally haven't liked it that much.

They have the biggest green sea turtle in Europe, the longest water tunnel in Europe and a lovely themed aquarium. The ads works perfect and I give 5*.however when you are inside, you understand it's not that big. Very expensive, 20usd per pax does not worth visit it. When you enter they take a photo of everyone without saying whether it is free or not. At the exit thry still do not say about the payment, but ask how big should they print the photo. After they print you are in the trap and have to pay for a photo starting from 15usd. I think it is cheating.

It was stunning! There is a big variety of species of different sizes. My favorite part was the glass tunnel with sharks and stingrays swimming around you. There were open aquariums as well. Each area of the aquarium as a theme, there's a ton of little stations for little explorers (it's a great place for kids) and a plethora of amazing tid bits of information about the fish in each of the tanks. It's really cool to see the stingrays and sharks swimming over top of you. Definitely a great was to spend an afternoon. Without a doubt it's a great experience.

The place wasn't as good as I expected and I felt we waste our money it was around 330 LT for each person individual. The highlights are most definitely the biggest sea turtle of Europe and the 4 meter long sharks. The place is also extremely family friendly I can totally recommend visiting it. Just be aware that they do not offer a wardrobe therefore the clothes have to be carried through the whole aquarium which is a bit annoying but apart from that the place is just the perfect attraction especially when the weather outside is bad.

Very interesting and nicely made aquarium. It is not very challenging to get to the Forum Istanbul from the city centre, we drove around 25 minutes. There is a wide variety of fish to see and explore including larger animals like a sea turtle and some sharks. Sadly, some interactive parts of the exhibition are currently closed due to the corona crisis. Some things to improve: many toilet locks are broken, soap dispensers are not working (neither does the tap at the star fish petting area) and an escalator was broken down as well. Other than these maintenance issues, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to both couples and families. Warning: there are different prices for tourists and local citizens!

The lights could be better, a bit dark in the big tank, the top floor could be better indicated by signs, the staff not speaking english, we almost missed the top floor. Overall good but below Istanbul Aquarium which has more colorful species of fish and variety of sealife.

Didn' quite worth the money, the fishes were so little..especially in those huge tanks. We could only see one turtle, one shark and the rest were fishes which are not many - it was rather empty. There was no penguin too. Not an impressive one.
