We enjoyed our tour with Pinar. She is super friendly! It's a free tour but tip your guide at the end. It was hard to locate our group at the meeting location because there are so many people in the Square but we found them and it was fine. We also took viaurbis tour of the bosphorus for 15 euro. The information over the loud speaker was in English and Spanish, sometimes it was hard to hear but generally ok. We were just enjoying the sights and hanging out with our group, everyone was really nice and it was a fun way to spend an afternoon. It dropped us off on the Asian side and we continued with our next guide nicknamed Batman. He was great too. He took us around the markets showing us different foods and restaurants. This was included in the boat tour. Not only did Pinar and Batman have interesting knowledge of the cities history and culture, they also taught the group some practical tips on how to navigate the city of Istanbul, for example how to fill your metro card and what atms didn't have fees. I also tipped Batman a little even though this part was a paid tour.

Pinar was our guide in Istanbul… the tour was excellent!! Since she is a local she knew every tip and let us know the best deals. She is very funny so it was great to go on tour with her.
