Always busy and vibrant, beautiful views of the Bosphorus Strait and the European side of Istanbul. Plenty of restaurants, shops, transportation, etc.

It was really a wonderful experience to visit Üsküdar District & walk through this fantastic walkway! I’ve never seen so many jellyfish in my life. Though the weather was not sunny but still we have enjoyed a lot! The great architecture of Semi Pasha Mosque along with the personal graveyard/cemetery is worthy to visit.

Nice and tidy walkway, people are coming here for walking, sitting, swimming or fishing. The walkway is close to Maiden's Tower.

I love Üsküdar. My favourite thing is that I can always either take the Vapur or Marmaray and one minute I'm in Asia and the next I'm in Europe. Also, the people are very friendly and welcoming. They love fishing too. The sunset here in the summer or the days leading up to summer are very beautiful.

The quality of the design and the amount of attention paid to this sidewalk for the well-being of its audience was very poor. This sidewalk was clearly not designed by an architect or an urban designer, meaning someone who is familiar with the importance of urban space and audiences. . A lot of money was spent on this place, but in my opinion, as I have many years of experience designing sidewalks at the international level, it was a very poor space. The material suitable for the seaside was not used. There was no path for the blind (of course, this is the case in most parts of Turkey) The bike path was not well defined and had sharp turns. The sharp corners in the place have the possibility of harming any kind of audience, especially children. The lighting level was awful and it is considered a suitable place for theft! The disproportion in the layout of the urban hotel made the audience feel uncomfortable in the place. Short green spaces (meaning small plants and not trees) were not used at all. . And many other issues. . The only positive points of this place were the installation of protective handrails to prevent people from falling into the sea, which was well established, the use of benches and trash cans near each other.

A coastal walkpath. No particular service around, but some local salesmen offer to you some local treats. Nice views to European side of the city and active ferry traffic to "Europe". Refreshing wind from the sea to get you loaded for the day.

Ah Üsküdar, how wonderful you are! 😍 It has a great scene, especially at night. Whenever you come to İstanbul you should definitely walk there along the coast.

A great place for an evening walk. The Maiden Tower looks very interesting at sunset from the Ushgudar embankment. The sun sets over Sultanahmet and it looks enchanting! You can get here from the European part by sea tram from the Eminonu pier - then walk along the embankment towards the south. After this, you can cross the Bosphorus, towards Kabatas, Besiktas and from there to Ortakoy with its fantastic night view of the bridge.

Uskudar is a charming sight seeing point in the Asian side of Istanbul, facing the old city of Eminonu across the Bosphorus. It has a rich history and culture, with many beautiful mosques, fountains, and monuments dating back to the 16th century. It also boasts some of the best views of Istanbul, from the iconic Maiden's Tower to the scenic Camlica Hill and Fethi Pasha Grove. Uskudar is a great place to stroll along the seaside, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at one of the cozy cafes, or sample some delicious seafood at the restaurants. Uskudar is a must-see for anyone who wants to experience the authentic and diverse side of Istanbul.

Municipality of Istanbul has ruined this place a year ago. You used to be able to sit and enjoy all sorts of things and good tea but right now it is just concrete

Very good and sunny, unfortunately the maiden tower/island is covered because of the maintenance, but the rest of the views are still good especially the sunset.

Lovely walk when it's not rush hour. They have improved and renovated this coast walkway recently and is very well maintained. A lot of food options available and a nice view of the maiden tower is also apparent further down. It's a nice place to get lost amongst the locals, away from the tourist traps across the bridge. If you feel the need to start an adventure on the Asian side of the major city, make sure to start it here. You can take a ferry or the new underground high-speed trains to get here from most of the major hubs in Europe.
