We visited this hotel the 2nd time. The 4th time Istanbul. It is not comparible with a Double Tree Hotel but recommandable. Very good and polite Service. Breakfast is ok. Amazing few in the Room. The Room has some damp spots. Carpet was very old. Also rooms are small. But 3 Stars in Turkey are not similar to 3 Stars in European countries. The Hotel is ok and in general very clean. And for Istanbul Standards this hotel is very good, clean and serious also for Families.

This is a horrible hotel and i don't recommend coming here unless you want to waste your money and deal with impolite greedy management. I booked and paid for a room but when I arrived they refused me even though I had the confirmation and everything.

My stay was a fantastic one. Clean triple single bed room. I put the beds together and I had a triple size bed :) clean room. Nice view from the balcony. Covid19 safe hotel with fantastic hygiene. Staff were very professional. I saw one bad review on google because someone had paid too much for your their laundry. So in this case check the price before you order anything from reception. Breakfast was included for me and it was great. Cleaning staff are all very respectful and efficient. I would recommend this hotel. Location is great. All of Istanbul is lots of hills. You can’t get away from this. It is a feature of Istanbul. Lots of cats. Friendly stray dogs, beautiful river and sea, fantastic restaurants and coffee shops nearby . Great location .

A special thank you to Fatih at the reception desk for his kindness. Our housekeeper was the loveliest lady she always had conversations with us. Everything about the hotel was lovely, thank you for having us. I can’t wait to come back.

The location is good, although I did not feel safe to walk alone in the streets at night. But to find the building is a little tricky and the transfer cannot drop you off at the door. Very close to the metro station and a lot of options to eat very close. It is very close to the taksim square and you can walk to the river. The view from the top of the building is very beautiful. The room was ok for me, I stayed 4 nights, very well organized. But the bathroom could be more clean.

The staff is 5-star, always ready to help and offering excellent service. The rooms felt slightly larger than a typical three star hotel room, very clean and comfortable. The view on the Bosphorus side is amazing. Given the location and the room prices, staying at Cihangir Hôtel in Istanbul is excellent value.

Absolutely helpful stuff! The room was cozy and had everything that you might need. The view... breathtaking!...Very nice location, close to Taksim square and lots of coffee shops and restaurants, yet on a very quiet street.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed for 4 days and the room was in excellent condition. Extremely clean and well maintained. The location is great and just a few minutes away from the main taksim areas and Istiklal street. And the staff were absolutely incredible, super friendly and super helpful. They attended to all our requests with smiles all the time. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel, good location, clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff, this is the hotel to choose. Staff are friendly. I first had a loud room but the team was nice to change the room immediately so I better work from there. The room is a bit tight though. It's also worth noting that the terrace restaurant is closed but there are a plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The neighborhood is very lively and beautiful to walk in.

Hotel is good for viewing Bosphorus from Balcony. Staf's are good.

The Hotel and the staff were exellent in the beginning. First the Hotel was very very clean and they changed our sheets everyday.The Hotel location was just perfect 5-6 min walking to Taksim Square. The reason why I am giving 3 stars is because just in the end when we were about to leave they let me know that I had to pay for the laundry they did for me twice and the price was 58 euroooo for washing t-shirts I was just shocked with the price and the way they told us just while we were checking out.... I was about to have a great experience there but still dont know why the price was that high....sad.

We stayed here for a week, and it was very comfortable with a great view over the Bosphorus. It is well situated in Cihangir, a boho neighbourhood within walking distance to many attractions, but far enough away to feel like you are living like a local. The staff is welcoming and the breakfast buffet was quite extensive. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Istanbul.
