A very nice hostel with excellent facilities and many social activities. Dorm beds had curtains for privacy, and small lockers with digital locks for valuables. The common room is not excellent, as it is part of a cafe, but the staff is very inclusive and takes people out drinking in the weekend and hosts dinners on Sundays, so it is very social for solo travelers. Very clean, but one shower and one toilet for 10 people was not enough. Location is great, if you want to stay in the historic area, walking distance to most sights and close to subway and supermarket.

Travellers beware. I booked this hostel on the premise they will take 15 usd as a deposit, and pay the remaining of my stay in person. When booking the hostel I asked if I will be charged if I do not check in. I was advised they will only charge the remaining value of my stay in person. If I was not thee it will not be charged. Though the deposit won't be refunded. I thought this was fair and had everything booked in as my flight dates may change. I didn't check in and saw they charged me for my stay regardless. They advised as I didn't check in they charged me the full stay and made the room available to others.making the room available to other is fair, however, charging me the full price even though I confirmed only the deposit will be taken isn't. They are now refusing to provide a refund on the erroneous charge. So just becareful I've raised this with my bank as a fraudulent and suspend this transaction.

Really cool hostel with nice breakfast and topnotch staff, thanks to Idriz for the amazing hosting! Beds are super comfy and the hostel is nive and clean, just the rooms and bathrooms are quite small. All in all definitely recommendable. 👍

Well, this hostel is the best I had in Istanbul in terms of design and comfort. I liked the bathrooms that each room has, the kitchen was kept clean and tidy. The location is great if you aim at the tourist spots because it's close to Galata tower and Istiklal shopping street.

Burak, Idris, Fabri and Soulayman were angels to me when I arrived in Istanbul, the spirit in the hostel is amazing, the place is super clean and new and the rooftop has an impressive view, I'll definitely come back if I travel in Istanbul once again They often suggest plans to go out and create friendships between guests so do not hesitate if you're traveling alone Thank you Le banc team 🥰

Location 😍5 min walk to Galat tower , 1 min shishne metro 🚊,10 min Karakoy ferry ⛴️ station .1 min karakoy galat subway 🚇 .& fully equipped kitchen in ground floor, small le band cafe-shop , elevator, a luxury shower vitra in bathroom, big windows in both bathroom & room , In hallways of each floors chair with clothing handle , a Kurdish guy in reception I don’t know his name all that perfect but they need to change the bunk beds 🛌 to more comfortable quality actually is moveable and the bed not fulfilled around so kinda non comfy add air extractor to toilet is a good change hopefully color of room can be fixed as well other wise as i mentioned it recommended😍

Great place to stay, I’ve been many times in Istanbul, and this place like location is perfect, also is quite safety area night time. The people there are really eager to help if you have any questions or requests 👍🏻

Sweet little hostel in the heart of Istanbul. I stayed for 3 nights in a female only dorm and it was such a lovely time :). Little kitchen for cooking and to meet other travellers, a café downstairs and a rooftop terrace with a view over Istanbul. The beds are comfy and have privacy curtains and everyone was just so welcoming and lovely 🫶🏼. It was hard to leave this place, because it really felt like a 2nd home and I'll be back when I'll come to Istanbul again 🙏🏽! Thank you to the whole hostel team to make it to such a lovely hospitality place in this big city 💕

A cute little hotel in a very central area in the city, I have no words to describe how generous and nice is the hotel staff, Always will to help with recommendations and a smile There was a great experience we were 4 nights and we were happy to stay more. pleasant young atmosphere, very recommended

All you need for your stay is here in the heart of the city. Located in one of the most popular area in Istanbul, you may find yourself close to every attraction from sightseeing to local pubs, bars and restaurants to historical sights close by. Metro station is just few minutes away on foot as you can use it by simply purchasing Istanbulkart and get going. The staff is very helpful and friendly as they can help you with almost anything. The rooms are facilitated well and you have access high speed Wi-Fi at all times. We really liked our stay at Hostel Le Banc and we will definitely come back. Thanks a lot!
