A very historical place. When I visited so the image of British era come to real because the things which were used by British political agents are still present. Some more things which were gifted by higher class or government officials. It's on hill. The Zhob city is looking clear from here. It was resident of political agent and another hill was office of them. Between them they made a tunnel and it's still present. After partition it comes in control of FC. They maintained it very well. The other hill is in control of Balochistan Levies. Which is looking like ruins.

Being the resident of Zhob I have never got a chance to visit it. I would like to visit some day. By the way I have read about it in Zhob gazetteer. This is the British era mess located on a hill in the North of Zhob city. The hill and the mess is now maintained by the Pakistan Frontier Corps commonly known as FC after the partition of the subcontinent in 1947. The place is well managed as written in the gazetteer and give an awesome look of the sprawling city of Zhob. The whole area is lush green. The giant eucalyptus and pine trees looks beautiful from municipal committee road that leads to another hill of the same kind called Deputy Commissioner Hill. The mess is no less than a museum. There are many artifacts from the British era which reminds of the British era. The most important to mention is the piano which is much known on social media who ever visits the must take a picture of it to post on social media. The place is mostly visited by higher class and government officials this is because it's the most secure place in the whole area and as mentioned above it was built for the British army officers and now serves the Pakistan army officers. This is all about it and I would visit it some day and will come back here to drop my experience of the place.

A historic place from the prebritish times, the place was under renovation when I went. The view overlooking the city is quite good and is wonderful to see at sunset. The food is ok or bad depending on the cooks employed on the day.

More than a mess it has a historic value. If you are moving from Quetta to Islamabad or Lahore, you must plan brunch at this place. A must visit place.
