Great place and people ! Very tasty , fun and loud . The crowd is fantastic and the attractions kept everyone occupied. They offer “special” delicacies like warms , crocodiles or bulls if you feel adventurous as well ( all included in the buffet)

I'm not sure if all the reviews are genuine. It was more like a tourist trap. A big money spinner, way over priced for what it was. The entertainment was more like the night entertainment you get when you stay in a big resorts & the food was below average. When you book, it is not clear that the drinks are not included & when they say they welcome you with a local brew, it is only a tea spoon of it!!! The dancers whose their costume was not even proper traditional ones, lure you to take picture with them & then ask for money. It is definitely not a " must do" experience in Victoria falls.

You honestly can't say you went to Vic falls without going to the boma atleast once. This place was amazing. They were friendly and hospitable. The food was to die for and unlimited. The Boma is definitely underrated. It needs to be talked about more

What a fun night! Don't shy away from the food, drumming or dancing and enjoy the amazing atmosphere that the team has created. The only downside was as you walk in, they get you to do a 360 video and send it to you then make you pay, sneaky! Otherwise staff are great and so many other experiences available during the night.

A very entertaining night of a great buffet which includes grills, bbq, vegetarian grill, salads, a lot of puddings. Basically, a lot of choice! Go hungry so you can taste the local delicacies. And if you are brave enough, try a mopane worm! Get there for 7pm to enjoy all the entertainment (and get a good table). They play a mix live and recorded African music, then around 8:30 it gets very interactive with everyone having drums. Buffet all inclusive ($50pp) and drinks extra. My only 1 down mark, is volume of people coming to your table and for us it was while trying to eat. But overall, a great experience. I’ve got slightly sore hands from all the drumming 😁 have fun.

This was my fourth & final visit to the Boma. Not quite what I had previously experienced & not at all what I’d recommend. It’s always been a place offering entertainment similar to the soulless resort/ cruise like type of entertainment found in “touristy” places… but always managed to maintain some authenticity to keep it original. For most international travelers this is a put off… why travel to Vic. Falls to have a “Club-Med” experience? The food at best was at best just ok… The entertainment… (what used to be the Boma’s crown jewel) was forgettable. Used to be a ‘must do’ in Vic. Falls… now I’d say ‘only do’ if you’ve got more than a couple of nights in Vic. Falls.

I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing cultural experience and highly recommend that you experience it while you're in Zimbabwe. You're welcomed by the sound of beating drums and you'll have a traditional cloth draped over you for the setting. The food included is delicious and there is a nice variety and a lot of game meat like Kudu and Buffalo. You can even try a Mopane worm if you're brave enough. Drinks are not included in the ticket price. The highlight is definitely the drum show. Everyone gets their own set of drums and you'll beat your drum according to an instructor. The atmosphere of hearing so many drums being played is incredible. They will even create a circle where people will start dancing. It's an amazing and fun evening. Definitely do it!

Hands down the place where Africa showcases her vibe and elegance. Its such a clever fusion of senses, tastes, sounds, movement..community. everyone in the world must experience this at least once. It was not just an experience, it's a lifetime memory and I can still feel the drums beating in my soul. Kudos for curating this magnificent concept. The food was excellent. Who knew green beans could taste so good?

If you are in Victoria Falls this is an experience that you cannot miss. My family is vegetarian and when we said that to the waiter the chef (Jennifer) came down directly to our table and took us through the entire buffet dish by dish to let us know what we could eat. The hospitality was amazing and the performance was truly engaging. The drum show is truly one of a kind. Gets everyone engaged with the drums and is such great fun for people of all ages. Would definitely recommend it and would certainly visit again in my next trip to Victoria Falls.

Over-the-top-commercial As soon as we arrived at the main gate, we were greeted by 2 dancers which in itself was too loud and in your face. After the 1 min session the male dancer whispered what sounded like a tip request. On the way to the table we passed art and craft sellers, a 360 camera. My colleague and I were uncomfortable even before we sat down. The place was cramped and they placed us at a small table in a cramped space. There's unlikely a fire code or it is very liberal. There was a range of food, including a fully stretched lamb, buffalo, and you get to eat a worm for a certificate. The drummers really engaged and entertained the patrons. I liked this session which helped to redeem the night.

The Boma dinner & drum experience in Zimbabwe was truly unforgettable. We were welcomed by traditional dancers and we were then dressed in traditional robes. The food variety was exceptional, ranging from a warm soup to a diverse salad bar, including meat, chicken, lamb, and vegan/vegetarian options. The food seemed endless, the highlight of the evening was the invitation to join in drumming. A must-try when in Victoria Falls.

The experience would be one for a tourist to experience the Zimbabwean culture and cuisine. There are ornaments fashioned in site at a very reasonable price, drums for all, traditional dancers and not up mention the cuisine that is week balanced between traditional local food and a menu suitable for someone who might not want to experiment a lot.

Wonderful traditional African experience. Good food and entertainment. Everyone got a sarong and got their face painted. Show of dancers and drumming, where everyone participated.

This was an electrifying moment, no doubt. I loved the traditional food, particularly the peanut butter rice, the kudu steak, and the impala stew. What was more intriguing was us becoming part of the show, playing the drums, and dancing - it was thrilling and indescribably refreshing. We were a really large group, and it was even more exciting because we competed in drum beating and dancing. What a fun experience! Some of the waiters were a bit unfriendly (maybe they were exhausted since we were a very large group), but I hope they'll improve on that. I've to call again soon, hopefully

Great location close to the Falls a good atmosphere aimed yes at tourists resulted in a great evening out with friends. Friendly staff food was good as was the interactive drum show and the a cappella singing to round off the evening, followed by a short walk back to our hut.

I had an amazing time at the Boma. So much energy, so much laughter, so much food from starters, main course to desserts ... I was so amazed. The entertainment really makes you experience Africa. It was well organized and so engaging. If you want an African Experience in the Victoria Falls please book for the Boma Experience...

So much fun! I loved how the audience became part of the interaction with the drumming and dancing. There was so much to see and eat. Overall, it was a good time.

Yes it’s touristy, but a totally fun and different experience. The whole evening was a delight. They first robe you in native fabric. Great performance’s of singing and dancing, including an audience participation drumming event. Fun face painting available to everyone. Dinner is delicious with wide array of grilled wild game that was delicious. The entire dining experience was outstanding. We had an amazing and incredible experience here.

Must experience The Boma's food and traditions. The staff are friendly and entertainment is top notched. The variety of food is something else and can experiment if you want to. For those staying at the Safair Lodge, you can arrange someone to walk you there as protection with wildlife. Must get your mupane worm certificate.

Great African cultural experience Good food and service, interactive show, had us all drumming Truly is a must if you are in Victoria Falls

The buffet here is average. Nothing impressive. You come here for the experience not the food. I really enjoyed the dance and drum performances, and had lots of fun with the interactive drum session. However, it's pretty difficult to see the show if you are seated in one of the corners at the back. Luckily our waitress allowed us to move to a different table during the show.

I was blown away by this innovative Restaurant 💡 besides my homeboy being in charge of the dancers this place is a must visit and dine for anyone visiting Victoria Falls.

What a lot of fun, a feast for all the senses... I highly recommend an evening at the Boma if you are in the Victoria Falls area. Get the full African bush experience and a great night's entertainment. I had eland steak and kudu stew, along with several sides of salad and veggies, including peanut butter rice. A first for me. Fun for the whole family.

Wonderful experience we had here. Of interest was the resident African diviner, the man of bones, who offered to foretell anybody's future. Would have given it a go but got a bit tied up. I particularly loved the part where all the guests are given drums to synchronize with the performers. Absolutely splendid. And oh, their dishes are amazing. Eland meat was spot on, buffalo stew was the best, had to ask for a second helping

There are great vibes there with the drum show, it's extremely entertaining and different types of meat ranging from game to your normal daily pick. The food is great as well as the customer service

Really surprising place! Full of different and unique meat, bouquet of vegies, delicious soups. Deserts are ok but not as good comparing to the above. You are also participant of outstanding show drums were the BEST!! But also some dancing, singing very nice to watch and listen :) This place should be a point on Your travel! Worth visiting!

Food was good so many choices to try. The entertainment was good too but if you drum with them, be wary of hurting hands the next day. Try the worm...I did! I did try the crocodile but if you're allergic to shellfish or seafood try only at risk...it had my throat feeling weird and I was nervous because I had no allergy medicine.

  • 5/5 Haatsari C. 1 year ago on Google
Enjoyed the reception and the drum entertainment! My first time to taste crocodile meat😋 the whole set up is so beautiful and it gives almost a complete experience of living in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 if you want to meet people of all colors it’s the place to be. So much to share better go and experience it yourself 😃

A brilliant (if not a bit touristy) experience for an evening in Victoria Falls. The food available at the buffet is excellent, and the performances were great. I was a big fan of the drum show at the end.

  • 3/5 Ajay D. 1 year ago on Google
Nice place for local food and culture. Little bit over crowded and over priced( my personal opinion). But still, worth visiting.

  • 4/5 Sarah H. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely a fun, touristy place. Was expecting more "exotic" game like crocodile or giraffe, but they were only serving Impala and Kudu along with regular beef and pork. A lot of the meats were overcooked, and the cocktails were very very very sweet. Still a nice experience.

Went fo the live drum show, it was electrified. Variety of dishes where mouth watering. Good spot to dine whenever you in Vic-falls.

The Boma dinner was fun with the drum show and opportunity to participate. Had a great dance with the traditional dance-group. The night was lively and food great too . The meat is well cooked(not rare) so if you like that type of food you will enjoy it. It was a good experience

What an awesome experience!!! From the moment you walk in right until the end. The food is amazing, the dance and song were epic. It's a definite 'must-do' when you visit Victoria Falls.

  • 4/5 Shelton S. 1 year ago on Google
It is a nice eating dinner place, saves European and African dishes, you can have chance to test game meat, such as, Kudu, Impala, Wathog and Buffalo stake. With entertainment of a drum show during dinner time and Ackarpela music.

  • 1/5 Vanie 1 year ago on Google
It was noisy. The food was not special. Hardly anything to do with tradition. Who had enough alcohol will have fun, who wants to experience culture should not do this.

  • 5/5 Danni S. 10 months ago on Google
A cultural experience from start to finish. Buffet style. Traditional dishes. Food was tasty! You have to try the peanut butter rice and peanut butter spinach. Yum! Pork is prepared outside kitchen on grill. Beef, chicken and lamb is Halaal friendly. But there's also more than enough for vegetarians. Perfect venue for a group dinner. Eat a mompani worm and gain a certificate for your bravery! There was traditional dancing, face painting, arts and crafts, interactive drumming. It was a great experience!

  • 5/5 Malak El M. 1 year ago on Google
Boma dinner and drum show are just a perfect experience for tourists to get a taste of the Zim culture! You walk in and get your face painted with patterns and are given an item of clothing with some patterns on. Food is on a bouffet and you can grab what you want to eat! You can get drinks from the Boma man who makes the drink by your table! When the drum show begins, you get your own drum to join in on the music and play!! Also some lovely gentlemen come and sing at every table. Last but not least you can try to eat a specific worm (can’t remeber the name) they have cooked as a challenge 🐛 and get a certificate if you successfully do it 🙈🙈🙈overall amazing 🤩
