Typical 3 star holiday Inn type room. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful. Situated at the Casino and adjo8ns a shopping mall. Very convenient. The rooms are clean.

Poor customer service, the buffet sold almost spoiled food and desert. The mall closes at between 6 and 7pm. Although the hotel looked fine outside, I didn't use their rooms. Just went to the casino and mall.

Solidariteit Helpende Hand Witbank arranged a "movie day" for the elderly and took 140 ladies and gentlemen to the movies. Some of the patrons were in their 90's! The staff was very patient, waiting for the older ladies and gents to take a seat and even restarted the movie since it took so long for everyone to sit down. What a memorable day ❤️

24 months ago, I stayed here, and I found the service poor. The manager spoke to me afterward to address the issue, which is great. Today, I stayed here again and found the service to be terrible. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was denied. How can I not be allowed to speak to the manager. I was locked out of the hotel for 30mins. The locals said it was unsave. Never again.

The venue is at the best location, on the highway. Conveniently, there's a mall 2 minutes away. The rooms were so neat and comfortable, as well as the swimming pool side. It's a pity to only find out while you are there that there is no creche.

Just disclose when we check in that Sunrands do not work in the restaurants you use.

I loved going to Mpumalanga for a holiday and this hotel made it even better,the rooms could be more modern by adding more channels to the tv and more lights.I felt offended because Nomdeni,in the Billy G restaurant,was gossiping about my children!I don’t want it to be a big issue I just want her to improve so she can get higher ratings,but I would rate her service a 3 because she also takes away plates without asking if you are finished or not.The hotel is located in an AMAZING location by the way,it’s so convenient because right outside there’s the biggest mall in Mpumalanga,even inside there’s the casino,arcade,restaurants,the spa,the crèche and the arcade and if you thought it couldn’t get better,there’s a McDonalds right outside!I loved my experience and it’s a value for your money

The only place in Witbank to stay when we are there. A lot of room for improvement. There was ONGOING NOISE through-out the entire night until the early morning hours with loud music coming from vechiles. Cannot believe that the hotel security does nothing about this. Such a pity, as The Ridge is one of my favourite destinations.

We booked the room for our one year anniversary. Made arrangements to book in @ 13:00. We got here at 13:15 and our room was not ready. Had access to the room at 13:55. When loadshedding hit at 19:00 pitvh black room. No lamps or nothing. Dont you think it is something ypu should consider as loadshedding is mot gping anywhere soon. Also alot of noise at the pool area. Not relaxing at all.

The place is beautifull and clean , as for breakfast I don't know because at the desk they didn't give time for breakfast and the time we go out for breakfast they told us Breakfast time has passed already

One can never go wrong with Southern Sun; standard sized rooms. The bed & pillows were incredibly comfortable & the hotel conveniently located near most places of attraction.
