I
recently
dined
at
India
Gate
Indian
Restaurant
and
ordered
the
classic
trio
-
Butter
Chicken,
Biryani,
and
Naan.
While
my
overall
experience
was
satisfactory,
there
were
some
noteworthy
aspects
that
deserve
attention.
The
Butter
Chicken,
a
staple
in
Indian
cuisine,
was
okay,
but
it
didn't
quite
live
up
to
my
expectations.
The
sauce
lacked
the
depth
of
flavor
and
richness
that
I've
come
to
associate
with
this
dish.
However,
the
chicken
was
tender,
and
the
dish
was
acceptable.
On
the
other
hand,
the
Biryani
was
the
highlight
of
my
meal.
It
had
the
right
level
of
spiciness,
which
is
essential
for
a
good
Biryani,
and
the
aroma
was
enticing.
The
Naan,
while
not
extraordinary,
was
good.
It
was
soft,
freshly
made,
and
came
in
ample
portions.
It's
worth
noting
that
one
Naan
serving
essentially
consists
of
four
pieces,
which
is
a
generous
quantity
for
sharing.
One
aspect
that
left
me
with
mixed
feelings
was
the
pricing.
India
Gate
Indian
Restaurant's
dishes
are
on
the
expensive
side,
especially
considering
the
portion
sizes
and
the
quality
of
some
of
the
dishes.
While
I
appreciate
quality
food,
the
cost
may
deter
budget-conscious
diners.
Lastly,
I
observed
an
interesting
practice
during
my
visit.
It
seems
that
the
restaurant
offers
discounts
in
exchange
for
5-star
reviews
on
Google.
While
it's
understandable
that
businesses
want
positive
reviews,
the
authenticity
of
such
reviews
may
be
questionable,
and
it
raises
concerns
about
the
credibility
of
the
restaurant's
overall
rating.
