Great place, Great manager, it’s good experience when you meet and deal with the owner and he offers any help you might need. Place is cool and clean. Prince was super fair for the location and service. Walking steps from Metro and bus station. Highly recommended in taksim area.

It was my first trip to Istanbul and I was incredibly lucky to have such a jewel of a person as a host! Friendly, kind, helpful, generous and knowledgeable. He made my stay easygoing. :) When it comes to the accommodation: room and bathroom were clean, all appliances working, heating was perfect, staff friendly, and location is 10/10. Plus, I tried their pizza- it was delicious! :) Looking forward to coming back to this place again. :)

The owner was really awesome! He took me and my friend around the neighbourhood to help us do some errands like getting a local SIM card (cheaper than at the airport) and finding a laundromat and places to eat. We stayed here for five days and had a great time. The Turkish coffee was delicious and we sadly never got to try the food from the restaurant and I bet it’s good because the owner would cook his dinner most nights and always smelled fantastic. It is in a great location close to metro and buses - high tourist area so take the owners tips you’ll get cheaper food off the main tourist district.

Hotel located in a good location, on Istiklal Street in Taksim. It is close to McDonald's. It has rooms and beds that meet the needs of visitors, each according to his ability. Hotel owner: Mr. Ahmed is a good man, he advises and helps his customers well.

5 stars for this youth hostel! The owner is a real gem, extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel is very well located and the cleaning is done conscientiously every day. I think the people who left a dissatisfied comment about this just arrived after a customer didn't take care of the common areas, because the cleanliness of the place depends on us too! I was originally only going to stay 2 nights and I was so happy here that I spent the whole week. Thanks for the warm welcome =)

This hostel is located right in the heart of Istanbul, everything is easily accessible from here. The owner really made this place special for my friend and I. He upgraded our room for free from a dorm to a private room, let us borrow his Istanbul transit card, and even helped us call a taxi when we had to leave for the airport on our last day in the middle of the night. Thanks to his personal touch, we had an amazing time. This is the place to stay!!

The hostel is located in a perfect place; just a few steps away, you can find everything - shops, restaurants, the metro station, and bus stops. Furthermore, the owner is really helpful. A small and pretty hostel just off the Main Street near Taksim Square, you can reach one of the main metro lines of Istanbul by walking just a few hundred metres. Despite its central location, the hostel is situated in a quiet and pretty alleyway, so you don’t have any problems with noise or such things. The host, staff and other guests were very friendly and open. The room was clean and comfortable, the toilets were clean and the rooftop terrace, despite not having any real view, is an extremely comfortable place to sit, eat, work or socialise. One of the best hostels I’ve ever been to!

The hostel is perfectly located, the staff was very welcoming and the hostel itself very clean. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay, therefor we can definitely recommend the „chambers of the Boheme“

This is by far one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in Istanbul. You will be treated with welcoming and flexibility because the owner is such a decent, gentleman. The hostel is in a great location, just a minute from isitklal street and 5 mins walk from taksim square, even though , it’s still in quiet street. There are many type of dorms the 12 and the 4/6 all vary in prices. The 12 room is in the 4 th floor which will be tough if you have luggage, so take what you need and leave the rest in the storage room. Talking about the internet connection, it’s really good it goes beyond 40 mbps Areas of development: 1- will be great if you can provide kitchen to the travellers if they want to fry/ boil food. 2- it will so nice if you can renovate your rooftop and clean , it’s a really good places , I imagine especially in summer to hang out with friends

Loved my stay here! A very cozy and quaint place amongst the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. Great location just off Istiklal street and under 5 mins walk to Taksim square. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Comfy beds and good facilities. I actually ended up injuring myself on my trip and Ahmet, the owner, went above and beyond to take care of and look after me. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality! I will definitely return, thank you so much ☺️

Beautiful acomodoation, at a great location in the center of taksim. The Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There is free wifi and we met really nice people here! Can only recommend :)

Rude and tried to over charge me, I was nearby and I thought Let's save time to make a booking online. I showed him price it was 64 TL, he said it's not available but it was clearly available, second option was 80TL he said this is alo not available. I said it's available to book, do you want me to book right now? He said wait and after 2 mints said try and he made the Bed sold-out. He tried dirty game and guess what he lost the client and I left.

If you're looking for budget accommodation, a great location and friendly helpful people, look no further than Chambers of the Boheme. Easily reached from the airport bus the hostel has a bar and pizza restaurant. Thanks Ahmed for helping me out with an airline problem the day I arrived. Stayed 3 times and will do so again on my next visit to amazing Istanbul.

The hostel is near taksim square, you can find it easily to get everything especially food. The hostel owner sell pizza 🍕, there's so many choices, if you're lazy can just grab one without step out the hostel. The hostel owner was so helpful, he helped me by providing so much useful information. And the staff is also caring and reminds me to be careful of the street since I was going out too early in the morning. The dorm room was great, it was colder than expected, and you will be easy to wake up by the mosques when they're praying. Definitely recommend the solo traveller stay in this hostel. Affordable!

We stayed in a three-bedroom for five nights for Christmas, which was perfect! The location of the hostel is near Taksim and the main pedestrian boulevard which is not hearable from the flat. For the price, do not expect a luxurious place but we had a fridge in our room! Each floor has two rooms and one bath and toilet per floor which is sufficient. The hostel proposed also a small restaurant to order good pizzas. The owner was nice to us and recommended some places to go or to avoid.

This was my second (and certainly not last) time staying at Chambers. In fact, I already booked my next stay. I absolutely love the facilities, location, and staff. The hostel is central to everything in Taksim, at an unbelievably low price. Moreover, the owners are so genuine, warm, and helpful. This is Istanbul’s hidden gem for accommodations. Book ASAP!

Ahmet and his folks are very kind. They were awake at 2am and quickly for me to my room to sleep asap. I'm the morning Ahmet gave me tea and happily let me keep my bags in the lobby as I explored before leaving. The bed is comfortable. Quiet area away from istiklal.

Very helpful workers. They advised me about everything i needed. especially the Pakistani guy even helped me plan my trip . Multiple floors and the rooms are big and comfortable. In 3 days they are renovating the whole place to make it even better. Thanks for the Hospitality.

Welcome to the most magical place in Istanbul! My experience at this hostel can only be described as true hospitality. Ahmet and his staff do an amazing job running this place, with all the challenges of an old building, a pizzeria on the side, and many guests to accomodate. No matter who you are, they will go out of their way to make you feel supported, secure and happy ...just like a family does :) P.s. as an Italian, I loved the pizza. Give it a try🇮🇹❤

Mr. Ahmed is a very welcoming and nice person. My kids were sad when they left because they will miss him. The location of the hotel was perfect and in the heart of Taksim. The family room was value for money and was fitting for our family (4 person).

Its' a good hostel ın the heart of taksim/istanbul. The only thing ıts a bit noisy even after midnight. But if you heard a loud musıc from a bar you can easily call the police.:) To be honest as a professional solo traveler ı dont care about that kind of details. The owner of the hostel Mr. Ahmet ıs a great guy. Even ı can go there to have a conversation with him. Good luck.

Right in the center, good pizza. The lowest price for shared accommodation I could find in Istanbul. The rooms were always clean. I shared the room with the huge balcony which was not so clean. Personal was kind and could speak good english, tried to help. I had to study a lot and work on computer and I was so lucky that this hostel was very silent even lot of people were living in in the same room. I got also quite big cupboard with the key where I could keep my the rarest things. If you need to sleep very cheap one or two nights and keep your things safe, have a warm shower, this could be good place for you.

This is my 2nd time to stay here and i came back because i love the place. The rooms are very clean, the owner is very helpful and he speaks very good english so you wont have any problem. They also arranged my PCR test for a minimal fee and they printed the result for me.

Lovely Museum. It is one of the best museums in the world. Really impressed and delighted. Great depiction of old golden history. Thanks to Turkish Government for creating such a facility for us and the coming generations.

It was awesome experience for me, Ahmet & Ali were so friendly and helpful. Hostel was so clean and well organized! There is a pizza restaurant next to lobi and you don't need to go out sometimes just order and eat in same place. I had chance to tried Napoli menu and was delicious

Well, chambers of the Bohem is one thing, and Mr.Ahmet himself is another, I can't say which one I'll miss more, but definitely I will, they also serve their own pizzs which I strongly recommend, this place has pretty much everything you need, no more further explanation, you'll see if you give it a shot. It's a nice place for what it is. A classic hostel in Taxim. MR. Ahmed is a respectful man who does business with good ethics and understanding for people and situations. I have seen him turn down good offers on ethical grounds. In worst case he is also helping you with exchanging money on emergencies nd booking cheap taxis to airport.

Great location and Ahmed is very helpful. There is a good place which does Turkish breakfast up the street and to the right.
