Recently visited Turgut Kebap restaurent with my family and had an amazing experience. We wanted to try authentic Turkish food during our visit to Istanbul, and this restaurant was highly rated on Google. The setup was small but very welcoming. We ordered a mixed kebab platter and testi kebab lamb, and the food was incredibly tasty, living up to the positive reviews. The servers kept us entertained with their dance and music, and they even offered us complimentary Turkish tea and desserts after our meal, making our experience truly memorable. Special mentions to our server, Sehmus, who was super nice and made sure we enjoyed our time there. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving Turkish food in Istanbul!

We got here in a very rainy day and Fuat greeted us with his welcoming service. The appetizer and desert + tea were on the house. The lamb on the oven was very juicy and flavorful. Lamacun was soft, crispy and very thin. It’s perfect! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Had the best dinner during our trip here. Our server Sukru and his team were so friendly and welcoming, absolutely loved our experience here. Food was so delicious, atmosphere was wonderful and Sukru was so generous with the baklavas and teas, superb hospitality! Highly recommend this place

Amazing Turkish food! Everything is made fresh and deliciously seasoned and beautifully presented! The atmosphere is friendly and all of the staff were so polite with great service! We also enjoyed the Joyful Turkish music and interaction with the manager and staff! We will definitely return!!

Amazing experience! The food was fresh and delicious. FUAT welcomed me with a genuine smile and made sure I am happy with everything. Couldn’t have asked for a better waiter. I loved the warm lights and the overall vibe of the place.

Sehmus was our waiter and he was very nice, especially with my kids. The food was perfect. The traditional instrument was played and it made the atmosphere so good. I recommend.

We went here with big expectations and we weren't disappointed at all, we had a great time. The food is delicious and comes in big portions. We were served by Sehmus, who is very hospitable. They are offering turkish tea and baclava for free. I totally recommend this place for a fantastic turkish meal.

So much fun! My first night in Istanbul and I was recommended this restaurant by my hostel and it did not disappoint. Veysi was so good to me and the manager was also very kind. High energy and the food was delicious!

The food was good. Especially Shemus was very humble and very kind to offer us Balhlawa and Turkish Tea for free at the end of our meal. Thank to TurguT for their humble welcome. We will definitely visit again.

Great place. This is a must stop when coming to hagia Sofia, Istanbul Turkey. walking distance. The restaurant, the atmosphere, food, is great. This is our 3rd time. I wish I could bring Emir to the US. His food is on point.

Everything was delicious the interior and atmosphere was great and most importantly the service was also good. We met someone named shakurla and he was very friendly and even gave us chai which he said was on the house. He is very helpful and amazing. The food overall was great and the drinks were very unique and nice.

We stayed at Marmara deluxe, and Turgut restaurant was just opposiste our hotel. Thanks to Mr Fethi and team after soo many days, we finally had a great diner with family. Price is awesome and customer service is outstanding ❤️

We eat kiremit kuzu , traditional Turkish pita, hummus, eggplant shakshuka and we eat ayran. The waiter Sehmus was nice with us and help us with everything we need. We got complimentary Turkish tea and baklava for all three. The music is traditional Turkish inside. The atmosphere was quite good, the staff was funny and cheerful 😇.

This place was amazing! My waiter’s name was Veysi and he was super helpful and friendly the whole time. The food was incredibly tasty; Even my mother who is usually picky, absolutely loved it. Veysi and my mother also had lots of ongoing jokes and moments throughout the night that added to the atmosphere. This was our very first meal after visiting from NY. We also got complimentary tea and baklava. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good food, good music, and good/friendly service.
