Really nice ambience. It’s close to the bazaar and a street full of seafood restaurants. We wondered out looking for doner kebab and stumbled upon this to find that it’s rated 4.9 on Google. Service was great, English well spoken and very attentive. Traditional ottoman dishes such as kebab in a pottery vase served here, great for Instagram. We had the butter prawns (Turkish version of gambas olio) and the sis tauk (chicken) which was fantastic. Iskander kebab, hummus were so so The night in Istanbul as not warm and cool, great experience and ambience with Mexican / Spanish music playing. Feels almost like the cobblestone alleys of Paris. Safe neighborhood as you see kids and family playing around in nearby playground

Very good Turkish restaurant in a quiet wonderful place in the old town with great service. I witnessed how foreigners entered this restaurant and ordered Italian dishes, in the center of Istanbul in a decent Turkish restaurant, why? You can eat them in Italy. I have tried all their meat dishes and can recommend them to you! They are wonderful! The family had 2 wonderful mornings at their breakfast, they were very satisfied! I would love to come back and have dinner there again. The service is pleasant, not intrusive!

Marko was amazing. Helping us decide the best foods and we even got good information about Istanbul and the places to visit. The team work here is the best. They help each other with tables and we got to meet all of the staff. We highly recommend this place!

Written by my husband Jeff: My wife and I were spending an evening in Istanbul walking through several areas. There are so many restaurants with great looking Turkish menus but we had spent a long day visiting the incredible sights and were looking for a place to relax as much as to eat. We saw this one restaurant down a bit off the busier streets that looked interesting. We looked at the menu and the owner and host, Cella, visited with us without urging us to come in. We decided “Oh lets just sit down and have a beer, and we can think about it.” Long story short, we had one of the finest restaurant visits on our long trip. We were first pleasantly surprised to be given Turkish flat bread and siyah zeytin ezmesi, or black olive paste. We ordered a Shepherds Salad and lamb Mutancana to share. They brought us baklava after our meal. Then, Cella’s brother, Antonio visited with us and then offered us Turkish coffee, tea or a number of other drinks, we opted for the tea. Everything was delicious, the wine was great and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Every employee (I believe family based), were attentive without being overbearing. They were not only super nice to us but showed a total respect for one another – which we appreciate. This was a perfect evening with great food and a very relaxing setting. Jeff and Deborah
