If you don’t want anything missing, DO NOT choose this hotel as they won’t be responsible for you even it’s caused by their mismanagement. Our belongings (including toothbrush, cotton pad and my customised plastic suitcase protector) are thrown away as long as the room keeper thought they looked like rubbish. I felt so bad about it especially when I told reception about these things lost. They didn’t show any attitude of feeling sorry! They asked the house keeper who said she didn’t see anything that has been missed. I reckon she is lying or truly didn’t pay attention to our belongings but just threw every rubbish-like thing away. Then reception stuff think they have no responsibility. However, hi we didn’t check out as we still have one night left. I have never met such situation that things outside the rubbish bin has all been totally cleared. What really disgusted me is their attitude. I never asked for any compensation but just reported the truth that our things were gone. Some of them like my suitcase protector are hard to purchase again. However they didn’t show any attitude of helping us even it’s not our fault! They just say “please don’t complain” without truly feeling sorry! Again we’ve tried to find the DO NOT DISTURB reminder but we failed. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever been to in the whole year of my time spent in the whole Europe

Everything local to the hotel within walking distance and the hotel receptionist called ismail booked a boat tour on the evening with meal and drinks included and it was the perfect end to the hoilday. Will definitely book again here. Perfect price and location.

This is indeed a very good hotel in Sultanahmet area. It’s very close to the Blue Mosque, 2 minutes of walking. Tram stops perhaps need 5 minutes of walking. The location is perfect. Breakfast were good, Turkish breakfast were served so don’t expect different kinds of breakfast. The breakfast area is lovely, at the rooftop so the view is nice. The food was okay but same for everyday, it can get boring but it tastes great, so no complaints. The room was nice as well, I booked a room without window or view but it was not a problem at all, it didn’t feel like you’re trapped or couldn’t breathe or something. It was okay. The room was clean and the toilet was clean as well. The room and toilet/shower sizes were great! The staff were indeed helpful. Jan who works at the reception desk is very friendly and helpful. He’s a nice guy. I would totally recommend this hotel and would come back to this hotel next time I am in Istanbul.

Great location, close to the main sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Rooms are noisy, with doors heard slamming all day and night. A neighbour seemed to be doing renovations and moving furniture at 10pm. Easy access to public transport and restaurants.

Really great location next to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cisterns, Grand Bazaar, and two tram stops. The breakfast is very tasty and offers great views of Sultanahmet. The staff is very nice and helped answer our questions and gave us recommendations for the area. The hotel has an elevator that goes to all the floors besides the top one which has the breakfast. It’s also very quiet, but do note that in this area the call to prayer can be heard everywhere because of how many mosques are in the area. We took a cab from the airport for ~$30 at the time of this posting which took about an hour. Highly recommend!

Great hotel in the old city in a convenient location for walking and public transport. Clean and in good condition with excellent service from reception staff (very helpful). The balcony allows wonderful views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Bosporus. A fantastic Turkish breakfast buffet and the two ladies working to provide this were friendly and helpful (greeting with a smile). A good price (value for money) and highly recommended.

The hotel has a perfect location which allows you to explore all the major attractions Istanbul has to offer, is very clean, the staff very helpful. They can arrange for airport transfer if needed, SIM cards, tours, etc. It was a pleasant experience.

I highly recommend staying at Hotel Saba! I had a very comfortable room that included a lovely sitting area with a view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosporus. The breakfast was very good and the staff first rate. They are very friendly and accommodating. The airline lost my luggage and the staff at Hotel Saba called them for me multiple times to get it delivered to the hotel. Conn also recommended a Hamam close by where I had a fantastic scrub followed by the best massage I’ve ever!!! I will stay here again if I return to Turkey.

I had a great experience at Hotel Saba. I had my elderly parents with me during the trip and they were very impressed not only by the location, but by the treatment of the staff as well. Omer, Ismail, and Nurettin were incredibly kind and patient with us, along with the rest of the staff at the hotel. I would definitely return again.

The hotel was a great experience for us and we would return here when we come back to Istanbul. Everyone in the staff made us feel welcomed, made sure that we had what we needed and made us feel lile we were at home. The location was perfect, 4-6 minutes walk to the area that includes the Blue Mosque, Ayasofia, and Topkapi Palace. Also, it was 12-15 minutes away from the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. You also had multiple general markets, restaurants, souvenirs shops, pharmacies, aswell as a tram station nearby that you could use to get to ferry boat tours and Dolmabahçe Palace. At night, the neighbourhood was calm and peaceful, and it was safe overall. The breakfast was delicious and fresh everyday, offering a wide range of alternatives. The ladies who were serving and preparing the food were very kind, joyous, and always willing to help you. The room was nice and neat, offering AC, TV, fridge, and the means to prepare coffee or tea in the room. Room service was also great, always making sure the towels were changed and everything was clean everyday. Last but not least, the receptionists were very hospitable, kind, wholehearted, offered plenty of information, and always welcomed you with a smile on their faces. To wrap it up, the hotel benefits from a perfect location, amazing and very friendly staff, great food, beautiful rooms, and neat room service. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul, whether you are a first-time traveler, or willing to have a full experience of the city. P.S. The view from the terrace where the breakfast is being served is breathtaking.

We staied here for the last 2 nights of our honeymoon and they were nice enough to offer us a triple bedroom at the 4th floor with a big closed terrace with a great view over Marmara Sea and also side view to Blue Mosk and Hagia Sofia. The restaurant at the 5th floor has also an open terrace with the same view. The location is perfect-all the main attractions are nearby and accesable by foot. Transportation is also nearby if you want to go further. Room- although it s not an amazing design it was very clean(every day cleaning), bed was comfortable and the terrace view was amazing. We were put off a bit because there were some renovating works at the roof in front of us and some noise - but it was only during the day so it was no trouble after all. They have elevator and someone is there to help you with your luggage. Food - we only had breakfast here and it included all the basics, spreadables, cereals, vegetables, gem, coffee, juice, pastries and eggs/omelette made on the spot. Drinking coffee on this terrace was the best view. Service- the service was very good. Personnel helped us with booking a Bosphorus sunset boat tour which was very good and offered transfer from hotel to this. We also had transfer from and to the airport which I tottaly recommend although pretty expensive-the city is very big and public transport from airport is difficult to take. They helped us also with a map and some indications when needed. To sum up, it was a great experience and would come here again.

An unexpectedly brilliant service from Saba Hotel. The reception and admin staff were gracious and conscientious, the rooms were well furnished, and breakfast was hearty and filling. I honestly wish I had more words to praise this hotel, an absolutely wonderful and satisfying experience given the price of a room.
