It was wonderful. As his own character, modest, original, cool and special. Museum was not too big but fun and impressive with a really cheap price. I tell you so worth to see.

I didn’t know Bariş Manço before visiting his house. It was interesting to know more about him and his influence on Rock music. The museum price was 10 LT and we paid it in cash. We went on Saturday morning and it was just a few visitors.

It is small but interesting house museum. There are furniture from art nouveaux style. The main design point in the house is bathroom, black & gold. House has 3 level and small garden in front. There is a gothic church next to it too.

Something different to do in Kadıköy, instead of taking my usual walk along the seaside. The house is on a quiet street, and it wasn't busy when I went. It's nice if you want to get away from Kadıköy's crowds. You can see Barış Manço's awards, artwork, and some of his jewelry and costumes. His car is even parked outside his house. There's a video of him hosting his television program, and you can read all about his life. It was a pleasamt way to spend about an hour and a half of my time.

It's easy to access from Moda sahil and a nice place to visit but make sure you have cash for fees as they don't accept cards.

They should keep the open days current. I have not been able to enter when google maps say it is an open day!

Barış Manço was a pioneer of rock music in Turkey and one of the founders of the Anatolian Rock genre. He was so kind, fun and one of Turkey's most popular public figures. If you are in Moda area, i recommend you to visit his house/museum, am pretty sure you will love his character and will search for his songs.

A nice museum filled with stuff Barış Manço used in his time, yet the explanations are not enough to make sense. The musical instruments and his records doesn't have a lot of items, you may find more information online than the museum.

Just walking by I noticed a lovely house with amusing large vegetables in the front yard. Turned out to be a stylish museum about an inspiring musician and artist (who I had not previously heard of). Enjoyable for non-turkish speakers like myself.

👍👍 Kazım Karabekir Pasha gave the greatest support to Mustafa Kemal Pasha from the beginning of our War of Independence. Despite the Armistice of Mudros, he did not discharge the 15th Corps under his command and showed a brave, self-sacrificing and heroic stance at a very critical turning point in hist...
